DAWN PRAYER

ood morning. All throughout history, the particular trait of Elijahs was that they all met God at dawn. This morning, we will learn about dawn prayer.

Let’s look at Matthew chapter 27:1-2, [When morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people conferred together against Jesus in order to bring about his death. They bound him, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate the governor.]

On that certain morning, the clergymen, religious leaders and elders who preached about welcoming the Messiah every Sabbath, gathered together and binding Jesus, led Him away to that gentile, Pilate, to be killed. History will repeat itself again in these last days. The sons of God were always persecuted and killed by clergymen. I hope that you will listen carefully this morning to not become part of such a wicked people.

[The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned.] (Isa 50:4)

Yes, the Lord God awakens us every morning to give us ears to hear His Word and to be able to speak those words with the tongue of the learned. And that’s why all throughout history, uneducated people were able to do the great work that educated people could not do. Why? Because at dawn, the Lord God gave them the ears to hear as the learned and the tongue to speak like the learned. And they could teach the great truths to all people and save them. That’s why if you look in Proverbs, it’s written that He comes to meet those who earnestly seek Him at dawn.

Let’s look at the life of David. People say that David was lucky. Why? He was a shepherd, but all of a sudden he received the grace of God and became the king of Israel. But it wasn’t that David was lucky; he could not help but become the leader of Israel. A shepherd is supposed to be one who leads the people, and he must meet God at dawn in order to receive instructions from God in order to lead them. But Saul who was the chosen king would eat and drink until late at night, then wake up late in the morning. With David, he met God at every dawn.

Let’s read Psalms 119:147-148, [I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word. My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I may meditate on Your word.] So it says here, “I arise before the dawning of the morning and I look to your Word and meditate on Your Word all day long; I live my life obeying those words.”

[My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.] (Psa 5:3) And if you look in Psalms 88:13, [But to You I have cried out, O LORD, and in the morning my prayer comes before You.]

So “I cried to You at dawn O Lord; and in the morning my prayer comes before You.” Our prayers at dawn are received with the greatest answers. Do you know why? Even if all five billion people in the world were to attack Satan, they would not be able to win. Look at Adam, he was twenty times more intelligent than us and yet he utterly lost to Satan. And this demon Satan wanted to bring Jesus down and followed Him ruthlessly. Who could contend against such a terrible foe? That’s why God comes to meet His sons every dawn and prepares them so that they do not become Satan’s prey for that day. So God comes to His children at dawn. Jesus also comes to us at dawn. David prayed at dawn and received an answer. He said, “But to you I cried O Lord and in the morning my prayer comes before You.” It is our prayers at dawn that reaches God.

David was quite a tired man. I bought my children goats, one goat for each child, for educational purposes. But they had such a hard time with even one goat. If it rained they had to cut grass for it to eat. And the ram was very wild; it would charge at them. And while leading them, sometimes the goats would run away and my children would fall and trip chasing after them, scraping their knees. But that young lad David took care of hundreds of sheep all day long. Our country is a paradise compared to the Middle East; there is no grass for the sheep to graze there, so he had to wander all over the place looking for grass to feed his sheep. He never knew when he would die. Lions, bears, wolves, and thieves would appear from time to time, so this young boy never knew when he would die. His job was quite dangerous. All day long he would lead the flock. And even though he was at an age when he should sleep late into the morning with his mother having to wake him up; he rather rose early in the morning of his own accord regardless of how hard and difficult his job was, to meet God and prepare himself at dawn. Even if there were ten or twenty adults, would they be able to beat a lion with a stone? Of course it would be hard for them, so how much more difficult must it have been for a young boy. But David was able to overcome such predators, not because of his own strength, but through the strength he received from God every dawn. He received strength physically and spiritually and he was prepared every dawn.

When we meet God and Jesus at dawn, not only do we receive spiritual power but we receive physical power as well. Because David always walked with God and was always victorious, he was able to overcome Goliath as was his habit to overcome the enemy. That was how he lived every day. He was not someone who could defeat Goliath all of a sudden. Just as he had always defeated his other enemies, just as he had received power from God at dawn to be able to protect his sheep, he also received the power that dawn to overcome Goliath.

Though Saul had been established to be king and leader of the Israelites, all he did was sleep through the dawn late into the day. Our Father would go to him, saying, “Hey Saul! Please wake up. Come to meet Me. I want you to lead My people in this-and-this way.” Though God went to him at dawn every day year after year, he would never wake up but continue sleeping. Then he would wake up late in the morning and tell his ministers, “Oh, do this and this.” So how could that kingdom thrive? That’s why the church and the people ended up being led by fallacies and error. Truly our Father’s patience and endurance is so tenacious. If it were up to us, we probably would have waited a year and then gotten rid of him and acquired a new king. But our Father waited for Saul not one year, not ten, twenty, or thirty years; for forty years God waited for Saul. But to the end he just kept on sleeping at dawn.

On other hand let us look at David. This young boy woke up early in the morning and received instructions from God. Wasn’t he truly qualified to become the shepherd of Israel? To be a leader, a shepherd of a people doesn’t mean you have to be old, or a graduate of several theology schools, or anything like that. Those who receive instructions from God every dawn are the ones qualified to become a shepherd who can lead the whole world. But it is the true Holy Spirit and the true God you must meet at dawn, if you meet other spirits, then you will not qualify. Just remember that you will receive an answer from whichever spirit you pray to.

Let’s look at Acts chapter 13:21-22, [And afterward they asked for a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.”]

The people asked for a king; so God gave them Saul as the king. There was no greater sin that the people of God committed than asking for a king. Our Father and Jesus should be our king, how could they seek a human king? The fact that the church has a human leader is proof that it has become corrupt. It’s written that we have only one leader. Who? Christ. We have only one Teacher. Who? Jesus. And you are all what? Brothers and sisters. We are brethren. We are supposed to have only our Father and Jesus as our King. But because the Israelites asked for a king like the gentile countries, God gave them Saul as their king. However, he did not even talk with God for forty years, destroying the country and people trying to use his own wisdom. Every dawn for forty years, our Father came to meet him whether it rained or snowed, yet he kept on sleeping. Our Father sighed and looked for someone else who could lead the people and as He looked around, He found David, a son of Jesse who came to Him at every dawn, and He said, “He is after My own heart, and through him I will save Israel, My children.” So it wasn’t that David was lucky; he could not help but become a shepherd of his people and Saul could not help but lose his position of glory.

People say that Jesus had a lot of power and even gave us the Word of eternal life. Let us see then where the source of His power came from. Mark 1:35, 39. [Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.] Verse 39, [And He was preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons.]

So yes, very early in the morning, along while before daylight, Jesus would go out and depart to a solitary place, and there he would pray and meet our Father one on one. Afterwards, He would preach in their synagogue all throughout Galilee casting out demons. So now do you know where Jesus’ source of power came from? If Jesus had been like Saul, to sleep at dawn all the time, then not only would He not have become the Savior of this world, but He would not have been able to preserve His own Self. That’s why God is fair to all. He gives His grace to those who meet Him at dawn.

Let’s look at Mark chapter 9:28-29. Why did Jesus’ disciples not have any power? [And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast him out?” So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”]

At the Mount of Transfiguration one day, the nine disciples were complaining “How come our Teacher only loves Peter, John, and James. How come He doesn’t love us?” and they were upset, jealous, and envious. At that time, some men brought a boy possessed and so these nine disciples prayed, “In the name of our Lord we cast out the demon!” But instead this demon started rebuking the disciples, saying, “Who are you?” and the demon ridiculed them. They were so humiliated, but the demon left once Jesus came. So they asked their Teacher, “Why were we not able to cast out the demon?” Then Jesus said, [This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.] “How come you don’t pray at dawn, and even if you wake up early and pray, you’re half asleep. If you pray like that, you cannot have this kind of power.” And Jesus scolded them because they didn’t wake up at dawn to receive power. But after Jesus died, they were like chicks without a mother so they woke up to meet God at dawn, and when they met God at dawn, they became just like Jesus; they received power. So the key to all power is dawn prayer.

It’s written like this, “From hours spent with God, Jesus came forth morning by morning to bring the light of heaven to men.” He said, “I am the light of the world.” Now do you know where Jesus received this light? He received it at dawn directly from God. “Daily He received a fresh baptismal of the Holy Spirit.” Even though He was filled with the Holy Spirit yesterday, He still met God the next day. Because we ate food yesterday, does it mean that we can starve today? No, we must eat food again today. So we must receive the Holy Spirit everyday. He does not give us power for one year all at once. He only gives us the power for that day just as He fed the Israelites manna day by day, so we must also receive the power that day to be victorious on that day.

“Every morning He received the fresh baptismal of the Holy Spirit. In the early hours of the new day, God awakened Him from slumbers, and His soul and lips were anointed with grace, that He might impart it to others.” Our Father went to meet His Son every dawn and the Son also went to meet His Father every dawn. I hope that you will also have this kind of father and son, father and daughter relationship. I’m also tired sometimes at dawn. I don’t feel like waking up, but I can hear music that sounds like the song of angels in a dream. And it makes me so happy that I’m filled with the happiness and peace of heaven as I open my eyes. When I do, it is still dark and the stars are shining. That’s the time for me to wake up. Because I’m tired, my Father comes and awakens me with His voice and with music like the songs of angels.

“In the early hours of the new day the Lord awakens Him,” in case He was tired from His sleep. “And His soul and lips were anointed with grace that He might impart to others. His words were given them fresh from the heavenly courts.” His words were what? They were given to Him fresh from the heavenly courts, and not through angels but He gave them personally. What does this mean? “His words were given Him fresh from the heavenly courts, words that He might speak in season to the weary and oppressed.” Because Jesus received words directly from God, it didn’t matter who He met, He could treat them all whether they were oppressed or wounded in heart or whatever their problem might be. The Jews, those religious leaders, would go around trying to heal people, but they would say all the wrong things. But when Jesus spoke to them, He could heal the pain in their souls.

Then what words did Jesus receive every dawn? John chapter 12:49-50, [For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.]

It shows here how Jesus prepared His sermons. “For I am not speaking on My own authority but the Father who has sent Me gave Me a command what I should say and what I should speak.” So what does this mean? Verse 50, [And I know that His command is everlasting life.] What did He receive? He received the words of everlasting life. And all the words that you receive here in this meeting are the same words because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. There is no other Gospel and no other Word of eternal life except the ones you are receiving here. So whether before the creation or after the creation, there is only one Gospel: the love of God and the love of His Son. There is no other Gospel except this. Those who leave this Gospel claiming some other strange doctrine as the Gospel will not be tolerated by the angels of heaven or by God; such people will find themselves cursed of their own accord. Do you now realize what a precious place you have come to? Let’s continue.

[Therefore, whatever I speak just as the Father told Me, so I speak.] “Therefore, whatever I say is what the Father has told Me.” This is how Jesus prepared His sermons and this is what you call God’s Word. To spread the Word given by God just as He has given it is God’s Word. But look at those who preach on the pulpit, what do they say? “Oh, I prepared this sermon for four days, all week long.” They think that it’s so difficult to prepare a sermon. That’s why it is the “wine of Babylon.”Such are false teachings and doctrines. What do they say? “Oh, the Lord’s servant will now speak God’s Word.” When did God ever give them those words? They made it up. They got all those books and prepared their sermons with them with a main body and conclusion. They make an introduction and summary. They make it up as they please. They do research until their hairs turn gray. When did God ever give it to them? Then they say, “Ah, this is the Word of the Lord,” and they lie. Please do not listen to those lies. We must be like Jesus and preach the Word as He did, simply passing on God’s Word.

Since I lead these seminars for ten days, people think that I have quite a collection of books and a big library in my house filled with books. But there aren’t any books in our house. The Word that I give to you during the seminar are messages I received at dawn from my Father. And it doesn’t take a lot of time, sometimes only a few minutes or a few seconds. He can teach you great truths in moments and all we need to do is share them with others.

Let’s say I’m going to the seminar tomorrow, then today I will work in the fields or go to the mountains, cut wood and chop wood. People say, “Oh, Teacher, you must go to the seminar tomorrow, but why are you still working like this? How come you are not preparing for the seminar?” But my preparations are simple. If I receive an invitation to speak at a seminar, I go to the mountains or into my room and say, “Father, should I go?” “Go. I will be with you. I will be with your lips and I will tell you what to say.” “Amen.” And that’s the end of my preparation. I never think, “Oh, what should I speak for the first day? What will I speak after four days or after a week?” I don’t even think about such things. Why? God said that at that time, He would tell me what I should speak and He would speak through me. So like Jesus, I don’t add or subtract anything; I just say exactly what God tells me to say. That is God’s Word. But those people who get all these books and write this and that, they get these books of philosophy and write it out, saying, “This is God’s Word.” But that’s not it at all. It will kill them and others as well. That’s why it is called “the wine of Babylon.”

And when you go back home, you may say, “Oh, since Teacher Park taught that, I will look for something else, some message that will shock the people….” But please don’t do that, if you do, you will fall into error and fallacy; it is the path of death. All the messages that I give to you were given for you through this channel, that is all. They were not given just for me. All the words that were given to Moses were words for all the people. He only used Moses as a channel. It’s the same with Daniel, Apostle Paul, or Jesus. Why must you try to concoct something new and strange and almost kill yourself? Like animals that chew their cud over and over again, I hope that will just keep listening to the message, the Word that you have received, again and again. The animals that our Father accepts as a sacrifice are the sheep or cows that only eat clean food. They don’t eat what those dogs or pigs eat. They only eat clean things and they keep on chewing the cud. That’s why they get plump. In the same way, since you have received these holy words, you must continue to listen to them and study them everyday at dawn. This is how you can continue your course to heaven. Someone once said that he had a problem he could not solve, so he searched for the answer everywhere only to become more lost. But once he looked in The Key to Happiness book, he found the answer right away. Since you have received the truth and the light, I hope that you will continue chewing the cud of theWord.

The priests and religious leaders in the time of the Jews used many Roman philosophy books and doctrines from various authors that they used to prepare their sermons, but Jesus had no books in His room. One time, a college senior came to my room and took a look around. Later, he said, “Teacher, I was going to buy many books to read but I will not buy those books anymore. When I look at your room, Teacher, there are no books.” Because I hold these ten-day seminars, people think that I have a lot of books and read a lot of them. This senior from college probably read many books, so he wanted to buy more and study them, but when he came to my house, he saw that I had no books. So I told him, “Why do you need so many books? Look at the flowing water, that’s a book too. Look at the cloud, that’s one volume. Look at the flower, that’s a book too.” We must become those that can read from the universal library. He also said, “I was going to enter the theological school, but I have completed all my studies in ten days for only fifteen dollars.” And he said he only spent the fifteen dollars it cost for the food coupons during the seminar. Did he give me the fifteen dollars? That was for his food; he spent it on himself! In order words, he completed his theological studies for free. Had he gone to those theology schools, he would have just gotten a big headache learning those false truths, wasting his money and wasting his time. He would have lived his life like a slave, using what he learned to kill other people as well. Have all of you truly come to such a blessed place?

If you look in 2 Peter 1:9, it is written that Jesus was the bright morning star. If you want to meet the morning star and meet the sun, where can you meet it? You meet it at dawn because when the sun rises, the morning star has already disappeared. So I hope that you will meet God and Jesus at dawn. 

Let’s look at some prophecies. Amos 5:18-19 [Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! For what good is the day of the LORD to you? It will be darkness, and not light. It will be as though a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; or as though he went into the house, leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him!]

When it says “woe to you,” it is speaking of those people who will die and will be destroyed. In the Bible it also says, “Blessed are you,” which refers to those people who will receive eternal life. Is this correct? “[Woe to you], death to you who desire the day of the Lord.” What is the day of the Lord? Jesus’ Second Advent. Then which denomination desires the second coming of the Lord? The Seventh-day Adventist Church. “Woe to you, Seventh-day Adventist Church! You who desire the day of the Lord!” Does it sound correct? Does it seem true? This is a fact. “Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! Death to you, Seventh-day Adventist Church. For what good is the day of the Lord? What good is the day of Jesus’ Second Advent to you? It will be darkness not light.” Darkness is speaking of death and light is life. “It will be a day of darkness of death to you. [It will be as though a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him!... Or, as though he went into the house, leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him!]”

A lion was chasing a man so he ran away, but as he turned the corner, there came a bear, and so he barely escaped it and made it home. He was breathing hard with the exertion. “Whooh…, whooh…,” huffing and puffing, but when he put his hand on the wall, a serpent bit him and he died. It means that there is no way for them to avoid death. They will die for sure. So for the SDA Church, it will be a day of certain death for them. It is saying that they cannot avoid that death; they will die for sure. Why? The reason is found in Amos chapter 6: 3-7 [Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near. Who lie on beds of ivory, stretch out on your couches, eat lambs from the flock and calves from the midst of the stall. Who sing idly to the sound of stringed instruments, and invent for yourselves musical instruments like David; who drink wine from bowls, and anoint yourselves with the best ointments, but are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph. Therefore they shall now go captive as the first of the captives, and those who recline at banquets shall be removed.]

Then why must the SDA Church, who are waiting for the day of the Lord, all die? [Woe to you, who put far off the day of doom]. They say, “We are the chosen church, we will not receive judgment. We are the ones who will go to heaven.” But “[Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near], who use the authority of the church to rule with force and violence. [Who lie on beds of ivory]”– because they have so many tithes and make lots of money and offerings, [they lie on beds of ivory.] That’s why they have their General Conference meetings here in Korea. [Stretch out on your couches.] All year long for 365 days, they are lying in their beds at dawn. Out of all the denominations in this world, which church is asleep at dawn? There is only one. The SDA Church. There are three things that the Seventh-day Adventists are famous for: First, not having dawn prayer. What else? A church with no Holy Spirit. At least in the Sunday churches they receive the false spirit and jump up and down, but the SDA Church saying that is false, don’t even have that. Third, a church with no love. At least in the Protestant Churches they have human love, but in the SDA Church, they only fight with one another.

God is love and love is His life. Without love you are dead. And prayer is what? The breath of the saints. They are already dead. The Holy Spirit is life. The SDA Church has been dead since long ago. It has already been a century since they have died. So they don’t have dawn prayer, they don’t pray, they have no love, they have no Holy Spirit. But they still say, “Oh, our SDA Church will go to heaven. The Protestants and Catholics cannot go to heaven.” They have already reserved heaven for themselves. Yes, they are completely deceived by a most fearful deception. Please do not be deceived by those channels of Satan.

Because they have so many tithes, they don’t know what to do with all of them, that’s why they are lying on beds of ivory. If they have some leadership meeting, can’t they just meet at the church? Would the Holy Spirit not come to them? But they have to go to those lewd hotels. Must pastors gather in such places to receive the Holy Spirit? And they even gather at the best hotels, the expensive ones; how pathetic they look sitting there. It is because they are children of vice, that’s why they go those places; they seek out such lewd places. If you go to those hotels these days, you’ll meet pastors and Buddhist monks, they all gather there. With the hard-earned money of the people that donated, those pastors use that money such a way.

Also, when pastors come from the headquarters, why can’t they sleep in the homes of other pastors, there are so many houses, but they go to hotels. And not only that, they have hospitals in Seoul and Pusan and they steal that money and flee to America.Isn’t that so? If those of you from the SDA Church think that such beings are pastors, then you may go and follow them. If the pastors are like that, then what of the people? The Seventh-day Adventist Church that received such privilege and light, for whom God had such plans, have become the most corrupt. So is it not to be expected that they will die on the day of Jesus’ Second Advent? Do you believe God’s Word, this prophecy? These prophecies accurately hit the mark. The SDA Church will die on the day of Jesus’ Second Advent; they cannot hope to live.

So they teach that the day of doom is still far away and they rule the people with the rod of the church authority. Instead of leading them with love and truth, they rule over them with the horn of church authority. This horn is speaking of power and authority, and they beat on them and trample upon their flock. Instead of binding up the wounds of the flock, they drive them out. If they don’t like someone for any reason, they just kick him/her out. And because they have such greed for tithes, they are on ivory beds and are stretched out on their couches. They never pray at dawn for 365 days of the year.

If a husband and wife live together in one house but they never talk, then what are they? They are enemies. The SDA has made itself enemies with God. Then what God will come and take them, what Jesus will come and take them to heaven? And they [eat lambs and cubs from the flock], they devour all their lambs and cubs. “Drunk to the sound of stringed instruments, they act as if they are David. They sing songs and praises, drinking wine from bowls.”They are completely drunk with false doctrines. “They anoint themselves with the best ointments, but are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.”

Here is mentioned the affliction of Joseph. These days, a person named Yong-shik apparently goes around saying he is Joseph. Those who were deceived by him all ended up coming here. People don’t even know what the affliction of Joseph is. There are two tribulations that we must go through, one is the affliction of Joseph and the other is Jacob’s trouble. But the affliction of Joseph comes before Jacob’s trouble. So, what is this?

In ancient times, there was a severe famine and it lasted for seven years; everyone was on the verge of death. But during this famine, only one man, Joseph, had all the food. Whether high or low, gentiles or not, everyone had to come, kneel and worship Joseph in order to acquire food. Likewise in these last days, can you find words of eternal life? Is there any food of eternal life? Not even the slightest bit can be found in this world. It has been a long time already since the Word has disappeared from the world, and there is such a famine of the soul. At this time, you must only go to God’s son, to Joseph, in order to get food, to eat to the fullest and be satisfied. Has your famine been satisfied? Yes, right now, your stomach is about to explode. You are so full that you can’t even digest it all. But what about those people in the world? They are about to die, screaming for the Word of eternal life. “Please feed me!” But those leaders are not even concerned about the affliction of Joseph, only busy making their own money and filling their own stomachs. So how could Jesus not judge them?

[Therefore they shall now go captive as the first of the captives, and those who recline at banquets shall be removed.] After the sealing angel passes, what angel follows? The destroying angel. And where does it begin? From “My sanctuary, My church,” that chosen church which has been given the greatest privilege; they will be destroyed first. I hope that you will quickly come out from that terrible place or else there will be no way for you to be saved.

So while holding these seminars, to tell you the truth, I love the brethren from the Protestant Churches more than the Adventist Churches, and I love the brethren from the Catholic Churches and the atheists more. I’m sorry to the Adventist brethren. Why? It’s the same ten-day seminar, but the pastors or people from the SDA Church just sit there not knowing what’s going on and they complain and murmur until the very last day. But the pastors and brethren from the Protestant Churches understand from the very first hour. “Oh, this is the truth.” And they weep as they return to our Father. It’s the same meeting, same seminar, the same Holy Spirit falling, but why is it like that? There is a reason. Though our brethren from Protestant Churches have followed the false, still they tried so hard to meet God at dawn, day or night, rain or snow all year long, wandering in tears. And because they are spiritually awake, when they hear God’s Word, they say, “Oh, this is it,” and they grasp onto it.

But those from the Adventist Church were just sleeping all year long for 365 days every dawn for so many years. That’s why they can’t understand what’s going on and at the end they say, “Ah, now I understand,” but what do they know? When they go back, they go blank. That’s why when the Adventist people come here, I’m not thrilled to see them, because they really cause me a lot of pain. I hope that you will never become lazy and fall asleep again but be on the alert and careful. There is no other reason why Saul was forsaken. He received the greatest grace and love, but because he did not meet God at dawn, God could not use him to lead the people.

The reason Saul was discarded was not anything else in particular. He had received the greatest favor and love. But it’s because he did not meet God at dawn, he was not qualified to lead God’s people. With David, he could not help but become the leader. David was chosen not because he was better but because he had the qualifications of being a shepherd to his people; he met God at every dawn and received instructions on how to lead the people. He was qualified not only to lead God’s people but the whole world.

Also, among the Jewish priests, those theology professors, and up to two million people gathered in that grand temple Jerusalem, that chosen church– why were they all discarded while the hundred or so people chosen by that ignorant Jesus ended up being the ones to spread the fire of the Gospel to the whole world? It is the same reason. Those Jewish priests used to pray loudly in the streets and in big assemblies for people to see. They offered such formal prayers in public, but they never met God at dawn. If they had sought God at dawn, He could have taught them just as He taught Nathaniel, that Jesus was the Messiah. But because they slept at dawn, they could not recognize Him. They did not know who He was. And after sleeping all morning, they would say, “Oh, Jesus is a heretic because He does not belong to our church.” But though Jesus and His followers in the Upper Room were uneducated, they met God at dawn. That’s why they qualified to be the saviors of the whole world.

God did not forsake Saul and the Jews for no reason. God loves us all the same. It applies to us in these last days as well. There are those of you who wandered here and there without knowing where the way of life was, some of you used to smoke and drink, and there are those who even studied Buddhism for twenty years in the Buddhist temple–why did God choose all of you and bestow such a great privilege? The Seventh-day Adventist Church was entrusted with all the truth so that they could save the world, but since they snored away through every dawn, possessed by demons, God could not help but forsake them and choose all of you to pour His Holy Spirit upon. So if you do not want to be like those Jewish priests or Saul or the SDA Church when you return home, you must meet God at dawn; otherwise, this privilege will be given to someone else.

Though people receive such an incredible message of eternal life, this amazing message of life, why do they fall so easily in the hands of the enemy? It’s because they do not do what I tell them to do. They just continue sleeping at dawn. If you would be awake and meet God at dawn, then the light you have received here would become brighter and brighter.

Let’s look at Isaiah chapter 29 verse 9. [Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with intoxicating drink. For the LORD has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; and He has covered your heads, namely, the seers. The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I am not literate.”Therefore the LORD said: “In as much as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.]

[Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.] It would have been much better for the SDA Church if they were rather drunk and in a sleeping stupor due to some alcohol or poison. You at least wake up from your stupor after drinking such things; but the sleeping stupor the SDA are in is a fatal sleep from which they will never awaken. It’s written that they are blind for eternity and they will die in their sleep. [For the LORD has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; and He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.] They are the Seventh-day Adventist Church only by their signboard. Only their heads are moving about, they have no God inside them. [For the LORD has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep], the evil spirit of deep sleep. So it’s written they will never be able to wake up and they will be blind forever. Did God pour on them the evil spirit? No. He does not ever do that. Then why does it say that “the Lord has poured on you the spirit of deep sleep?”

In the book called, Early Writings, a little boy was crying naked in a snowy field in winter and neighbors just passed by without helping him.Then it says that the people of that neighborhood were murderers. But did they kill him, strangle him? If they had just told his mother, “Oh, is that your son crying in the snow?” then the baby would have lived. But they ignored him and acted as if they didn’t see him, that’s why they were considered murderers.

In this vast universe, one third of the countless numbers of angels became demons and came down to this earth. If God had not imposed sanctions on all those demons, if He had not protected us, it’s written that Satan possessed the power to make all five billion people on this earth go crazy and could kill them in five minutes. But because our Father protected us without sleeping, watching over us constantly, we were able to live happily with our own minds intact. Truly we should thank our Father at every moment.

Our Father bestowed all the blessings, light, and the truth to the SDA Church and said, “Please carry this light of truth to My children in the world and save them.” But instead, they put up barriers with God and had nothing to do with Him, never even meeting Him. Our Father waited for Saul for forty years every dawn, but He waited for the SDA Church for over a century and even for many decades afterwards, but they still just kept on sleeping. And because they departed from Him, who rushed to them? The demons and evil spirits came over them. This is what it means by “the Lord pouring on you the spirit of deep sleep.” He does not use evil spirits and give people evil spirits. If you misinterpret the Bible, you can be very confused. So though He watched over the SDA Church and protected them for so long, He finally left them completely. And once He left them, evil spirits overcame them and they fell into a deep sleep from which they would never awaken. That’s why only their eyes are of the prophet, they are blind on the inside.

[The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed.] No matter how much they look at the Bible, they can’t understand even one line. [Which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I am not literate.”] So though you go to those doctors of theology and say, “Please teach me about the 144,000, teach me about Elijah, teach me about Daniel,” they only reply, “Oh, it’s sealed, we can’t.” Then if it is sealed, when will it be opened? Will it open after Jesus’ Second Advent when we are in heaven? That’s why the people feel like dying. They can’t handle it and are on the verge of death. And because they can’t satisfy their spiritual thirst from those theology professors, they go to any illiterate person for answers. But then, those people reply that they are illiterate so it’s better to ask those professors of theology. Truly there is no one to turn to, no way for the people to live.

Where does it mention that we should not talk about the 144,000? Are you the people who should be part of the 144,000 or not? If you are to be part of them, then how can you not know about them? There’s no one who can teach those churches out there about the 144,000, and even if someone did teach them about the 144,000, that denomination would fall apart. Who would go to church and pay their tithes to a denomination that teaches only a few would be saved out of millions? They would have to close their doors. That is why it is only their plan to take the people’s money and keep them in the church; they don’t know or care about anything beyond that. Please do not be deceived by them.

The seals have already been opened. They were opened long ago. Now the time has come for the doors of grace to forever close. The SDA are completely oblivious to the fact that there are people right now who are waking up at dawn and going around saving the world. They are in a deep sleep and only speaking nonsense in their sleep, saying, “Oh, they are fanatics, it’s a fallacy.” They are mumbling in their sleep. That’s why the Lord said, “In as much as these people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, their hearts have been driven far from Me.” A husband and wife who always say they love each other and yet never speak a word to each other, is that loving one another? They are enemies. So [In as much as these people draw near with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men.] The Sabbath of the SDA Church was made by their pastors, not by God.

[Therefore, behold I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and wonder]. Just as He did in the past, He took away the Holy Spirit from Saul and gave it to David. He took it away from the Jewish leaders and gave it to Jesus and His followers. [He will do this marvelous work again among these people. For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.] Has it been fulfilled in these last days? All that is written in the Bible must be fulfilled. I hope that you will never fall into that fearful pit again.

When I was in Jeolla Province in the south, there was a very rich man who lived there. People who live in the countryside are said to be “rich in work.”There is so much work to do all year long. So this rich man was rich in work as well. He worked hard all day and all night, but his son was always drinking and sleeping until late in the morning. One day, his father was so mad and said, “Alright then, sleep all you want,” and he covered all the windows with blankets so his son’s room was completely dark. Later I heard that he slept for two days straight. And this son came to me and said, “You know, because I always got drunk and slept all the time, my father came and covered my windows; it was so dark whenever I woke up, so I just slept again and ended up sleeping for 48 hours.” For those churches that like to sleep, our Father just leaves them alone and lets them sleep an eternal sleep. I hope that you will not become such sons and daughters but be like David and Jesus. I’m sure that there was no one more tired than Jesus or David. But by driving out sleep and meeting God at dawn, receiving strength and power, the light and the Word of eternal life, may you become the saviors of this age, to save the whole world.

Let’s read Revelations chapter 3:1-3. This is for all of you. [And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, “These things says, He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: ‘I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.’”] He is saying, “I know your acts. I know all about your life. You have the name that you are alive but you are dead.” This refers to all of you.

Also, [“Be watchful and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore, if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”]

So it says, “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received” the words of eternal life and how you heard the words of eternal life. “Hold fast to it and repent. For if you will not watch, I will come as a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come upon you.” Please hold fast and treasure how you were able to receive these words of truth, the Word of eternal life, and continue studying it every dawn so that you may not lose it, that you may go to heaven.

In Proverbs 6:4-5, it’s written, [Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids. Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, and like a bird from the hand of the fowler.] So, when you return home after working all day long, or after doing missionary work all the day long, it’s hard to wake up because you are so tired. Then remember these words: [Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.] At that time, give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids. [Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter.] Run away, get away from sleep like a bird that escapes the hand of the fowler. Get away from the sleep of death. Satan has the net of sleep waiting for us. Please do not be caught by sleep again.

Then what do you need to do. When you wake up at dawn, wash your face with cold water. If you don’t wash your face… you know soon it will be winter. During the cold winter, you may say to yourself, “Oh, Teacher told me to pray at dawn so I must pray,” and you may wake up. But because it’s so cold, you cover yourself with a blanket, and pray, “Our heavenly Real Father… zzzz,” and that’s it, you’re half asleep and mumbling. Don’t do that but go wash your face with cold water. Don’t say, “Oh, what if I catch a cold.” You sure do take good care of yourself! I wish I could spare my body like that as well. You know, those people who worship stone idols, those Buddhists, they take off their clothes even in the middle of winter and take a bath naked in that freezing cold water at dawn, three, four, up to seven times. Then they go to pray for blessings. Then how could you be so sparing of your body by not even washing your face!

What does it say in the Bible? It says to be awake and alert when you pray. Use cold water to wake yourself up and then pray. I am not saying that you have to take a bath or you have to wash your face. If you can pray alert in your senses without doing that, then you can just pray. But if you can’t pray with your senses alert, then go wash your face. Isn’t it better to catch a cold and be saved and go to heaven than to not catch a cold and not go to heaven? Our Father does not want us to become like Saul or the SDA. He said that they are like dead bodies. That’s why their church is filled with corpses.

Ephesians chapter 5 verse 14, [Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”] Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep at dawn,” arise from the what? “Arise from the dead.” Don’t become a dead body. I hope that you will become living people. You are not dead bodies; for Christ will surely give you light. He will give you the light that can shine throughout the whole world. Will you do this?

During the Korean War, a whole company of American troops was killed all at once. Why? American people are quite lazy; I know because I lived with them. On Sundays, they don’t even eat breakfast, they just sleep. Almost all of them do not eat breakfast because they prefer to sleep. Because these soldiers were so lazy, during the Korean War, while going up and down the mountains, they were tired so they took down their sleeping bags and everyone of them slept without even a watch guard. The North Korean Special Forces came, and without shooting at all, they stabbed all the American soldiers to death. Churches and families that sleep at dawn will become like this. I hope that you will wake up, be alert and pray. Satan will come to kill you, so you must stay awake, be alert and keep guard.

It’s written like this. “I saw God’s people. They were not resisting the darkness around them and it shut them in like a thick cloud.” This darkness completely covered God’s people.“The angels of God left them as they were and departed.” Where did they go? “They went to the aid of the earnest praying ones, the ones who prayed at dawn.”Even the guardian angels will leave those who don’t pray at dawn. Then who will come next? The demon will come with a big sword to slay them. But to those who go to pray and meet God at dawn, the angels will come to protect them.

That’s why, those who wake up and meet God at dawn are truly splendid people. Jesus was so very tired and it’s even written that the disciples worried He would collapse out of fatigue and die. Sometimes He could not even eat all day long and all He did was speak and meet people. He did not eat much and met people late into the night; He barely had enough time to wash and sleep. And yet the next morning, though He had slept only a little, though He had not eaten to the point that His disciples were worried about Him, saying, “What if our Teacher collapses and dies!” because He met our Real Daddy at dawn, Jesus received spiritual and physical strength, to be overflowing with energy. Those who meet God at dawn will receive strength and power and health that cannot be explained in human medical terms.

While holding these seminars, sometimes I cannot even eat at all, all day long. Maybe a few pieces of fruit, and sometimes I cannot even eat that. And when some incident occurs, I am up all night long resolving it. But when I speak at dawn with such power, can you tell that I’m going through such things? If anything, more power comes out from my mouth. That’s why it is written that the Lord is our strength, He is my power. Don’t try to use your own power or strength but borrow our Father’s power and strength. If I had used human strength, I would have already collapsed long ago. We should be the kind of people that angels love and follow.

“Because people did not use their God-given strength in spreading the precious truth to others, unbelief covered them like the fowler of death.” Even though they received the truth, they should have prayed at dawn and received the light so that they could spread it to others, but instead they slept through the dawn; they didn’t even spread the Word of eternal life. What happened to such people? Unbelief covered them like the fowler of death. Why does it cover them like a fowler of death? Because they are already dead, their dead bodies are covered by the fowler. Please do not become like dead bodies but become living people.

I told you before that those who meet God at dawn are really happy, the whole family is happy. Why? The father gets up early in the morning and meets God in the mountains or in his room and even exercises and takes a shower, so he has good appetite. Even if his wife cannot cook well, he still praises her, “Dear, you cook so well!” But look at the father who sleeps at dawn, even though his wife has taken cooking lessons, he just bangs the spoons and says, “Why does it taste so bad?” Yes, the wives whose husbands sleep through the dawn really have a hard time. If there are any husbands who sleep in at dawn, I would like to tell the wives, “Don’t feed them. Kick them out of the house. He is not worthy to be called the head of the family.” The head of the family is one who should lead the family to heaven. So don’t feed him and kick him out.

It was not our Father’s original intention to have pastors or priests. In the Garden of Eden, were there pastors or priests? There weren’t. Which pastors taught Enoch? Which pastors taught Abraham? Which pastors did Noah follow? There were no pastors or priests. The head of the family, the father was supposed to be the shepherd. He is the priest. He is supposed to lead the family to God. That was the original plan of redemption. But because the head of the family, the father could not do his job properly, the eternal welfare of his family was entrusted to pastors and priests, “Oh, give your family to the pastor.” These fathers didn’t even realize they had lost authority over their families and sat there with blank faces. Please be smart fathers. May the wives kick out such fathers from their homes. Will you do that? The husbands of the wives who have said, “Amen” are in trouble now. But if they beg for forgiveness and say that they will never do it again, then just scold them with a warning, “Be careful next time,” and feed them. May we all wake up early at dawn and become happy families to go out and save the whole world and lead them to heaven.

REGENERATION AND SANCTIFICATION IN NATURE

H

ow many days have passed now? Today is the 4^th day. Are your hearts now beating with the life of heaven, and are you happy and joyful? The people around you are saying that they’re so happy and that they can’t even sleep at night. They’re saying that they have met our Real Daddy and are changing. They’re so happy. They’re smiling and dancing– but you, you don’t have that happiness or joy. Others are transformed and dancing, and they’re saying that they can’t sleep at night. But you don’t have this overflowing happiness in your heart.

When you listen to the message, it sounds correct, but why don’t you have that happiness? There’s nothing wrong with the messages, everything seems correct. But why isn’t your heart like the people around you? And why are you not filled with joy? Perhaps God has forsaken you. Perhaps the Holy Spirit has not come to you….But please do not worry. Jesus said that you are trees and He said that He Himself was a tree. He said, “I’m a tree and you are the branches.” We are all different kinds of trees that will live in our Father’s paradise.

Apple trees, date trees, and pear trees – they smile when they become regenerated and sanctified. But do fig trees smile? There’s no flower or smile or laughter. That’s why they’re called figs. They have no flower. They just sit there quietly. They don’t smile or laugh. But they bear some of the best fruits.

Apples, pears, and peaches – when you peel off the skin and throw away the pit, there’s not much to eat. But with the fig, you can eat the skin and everything inside. You eat it whole. When we go to heaven and sit at the silver table, you’ll be eating figs again. Others may be happy and joyful, but even if you don’t feel that way, don’t worry because you are like the fig tree. You will bear better fruits.

Once there was a stingy man in Seoul who used to sell dates. He wanted to make a lot of money, so he went down to the countryside to see how the date trees were doing. It was early spring, so the date trees should have been regenerated and sanctified, with flowers and leaves already blossomed and sprouted. But when this stingy date seller went to see them in the countryside, they all looked dried and dead. While all the other trees had leaves and flowers of regeneration and sanctification, the date trees didn’t have any leaves at all. Date trees usually bear the leaves of regeneration very late when all the other trees already have leaves that have been dancing with regeneration long beforehand.

This stingy, selfish date seller in Seoul saw that all the other trees had leaves and flowers but the date trees were all dried and dead. “Oh, I see. This year all the date trees are dead. I’ll invest all my money and buy all the date trees in the country and sell the mat a most expensive price.” He got a loan and bought all the dates throughout the country when they were the most expensive. He stocked them in his warehouse and said, “Since all the date trees are dead, I will keep these and sell them when they are most expensive.” He went back to Seoul filled with selfishness and greed. But the date trees had a meeting. “Let’s teach that stingy, greedy date seller a lesson.” So after he left, all the date trees started to bear the leaves of regeneration and fruits and flowers of sanctification. That year they bore an abundance of dates. And it was said that the stingy man from Seoul went completely broke. Do you know why date trees bear leaves and flowers so late? It’s because they are so hard. That’s why they say in Korea that people who have a stubborn heart and are hardhearted are like date trees. Those whose hearts and characters are firm and strong like those dates trees may not be so quick with the celebrating, singing and dancing, but when they bear fruits, they certainly bear the most abundant fruits. So don’t worry and just be happy. Those who so easily dance and sing while they are here also tend to easily fall when they go back home. But those who listen quietly without showing any reaction will never fall.

There’s a saying that a room that gets hot quick gets cold quick. Once I went to visit our prophetic school in Mageundam. In the evening it was very cold. I was rather worried because I get cold easily in the winter and I thought, “Oh, if it’s so cold now, it’ll get colder as the evening progresses.” But as the night passed, it began to get warmer and by the time it was morning, it was burning hot! So I asked one of the teachers what was wrong with the room. “How is it that in the evening it was so cold but as the night progressed it got hotter and hotter?” This teacher replied, “Once you warm up this room, it lasts for three days.”

There are many people who sing and dance and say that they’re so happy, but when they go back home, they’re empty and they collapse. They stumble and fall. But those who just listen quietly never stumble when they go back home. So even if the people around you are happy and they sing and dance, don’t worry. Do you all believe that the King of the universe is your Real Father who begot you? Then that’s all that matters. You have become a tree with deep roots. All you have to do is be rooted in the truth. So don’t worry. Though you are like the date tree or the fig tree, you will bear the best fruits.

If you look at the strong oak trees, they produce leaves very late just like the date trees. But once the leaves appear, even during the winter those leaves don’t fall off until the new leaves appear in the spring. Other leaves have fallen and are so dry that they crumble to pieces, but the leaves on the oak trees that appeared the latest remain on the tree until the following spring when it’s time for the new leaves to appear. But those leaves that come first early in spring all fall early in winter. Just because you don’t feel joy or happiness, and just because you don’t feel like dancing right now, don’t worry about it. If you firmly believe that Real Daddy is your Father who begot you, you have nothing to worry about and can rejoice.

Once there was an apple tree. It was a very cold winter day and the owner of the apple tree approached it and said, “Apple tree, I really want to eat an apple. Will you give me an apple?” He asked very nicely. After a few weeks, he went back, but there were no apples on the tree. “Oh, what’s wrong with me? I forgot to give this tree some fertilizer.” So he went over to the fertilizer pile and got some fertilizer. “Now it will bear fruits because I gave it fertilizer.” After a couple of weeks, this owner went to check but the apple tree just stood there with no fruits. “Hey, what’s wrong with me? I forgot to give it water.” So he went to the reservoir and gave the tree plenty of water. “Now that I have given it fertilizer and water, it will bear many apples.” But after a couple of weeks, when the owner went to check the tree, it just stood there bare and empty. “What’s wrong with this tree, it needs to get whipped!” He brought a stick and began punishing the tree by hitting it. “Now that it has been punished, it will surely come to its senses. Now I’m sure it will start bearing fruits.” But when he went to check a few weeks later, though it had been punished so severely, it remained empty and bare. The owner became so angry that he brought an axe and chopped the tree down.

What did this tree need? Not water or fertilizer, it needed the sun. When it receives the sun in the spring and summer, even if you don’t give it much water or fertilizer, even if you tell the tree not to bear fruits, it will smile and bear beautiful fruits. Later it will bear so much fruits that you will have to support its branches.

This fertilizer represents Jesus who came down to this earth and died for us. The water represents the Holy Spirit and the sun represents the heavenly Father’s love. Do you know why those people go to church all their lives but are not regenerated and sanctified? What do they say? They say, “Jesus, Jesus! Lord, Lord!” They always cry out to Jesus and the Lord and they always ask for the Holy Spirit. But who do they not call on? They did not call our Real Father and they did not seek His love. But when people come here, they change right away. They become regenerated and sanctified and bear many leaves and flowers. Why? Because, of what? The light of the Sun shines on their souls. Did you come to a good place? Yesterday, you were picking up your bags and conflicted about whether you should leave or stay, but I’m so thankful you decided to stay. You really made a good decision.

The churches in the world, all they do is cry out to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. One time, some church members decided to live deep in the countryside. They were city folks who went there and decided to farm though they didn’t know much about farming. But they weren’t able to harvest anything and ended up leaving the countryside empty-handed. They had planted rice paddies and though water was in abundance in the mountains, they lacked sunlight there. No matter how much water and fertilizer they poured into the paddies, without sunlight, the rice stalks grew tall but there were no grains. You need the sun for the rice grains to grow big and plump. So even though you lack water and lack manure, if the sun shines strongly, then the rice plant may be short but it will still bear beautiful grains.

Even though you may have less of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, if you just receive our Real Father’s love, it’s guaranteed that you’ll be regenerated and sanctified. People who always call out for Jesus and the Holy Spirit are doing so in vain, they will never bear the fruits of regeneration.

When raising plants, you need a combination of the three elements: nitrogen, phosphoric acid, and kali, as well as the sun, water, and air. This formula of elements is needed to raise plants. Likewise, there is a heavenly formula that we need for our souls to bear the fruits of regeneration and sanctification. They don’t just appear from thin air. Even when we grow things which we end up eating, all the conditions have to be right. Do you think just calling on Jesus’ name will resolve everything? When the fruits of your character have to be grown, do you think it just happens automatically and without any effort? You have all been planted in the heavenly orchard to become the fruits borne in the hands of heaven’s Owner. Truly you are fortunate in meeting this Owner! But if you leave this orchard, then you’ll be in big trouble.

(Teacher draws on the chalkboard)Here is a fruit tree. On this tree, there are leaves and there are fruits. There are both leaves and fruits on the tree. They live together from spring to fall. But when the owner comes, he only picks the fruit and puts them in the basket. He doesn’t even look at the leaves. How sad it is, isn’t it? Yes, it’s sad. Can you believe it? They lived in the same tree, on the same branches. They received the same sunlight, water, and fertilizer. If anything, the leaves came out first and worked so hard for the fruits to come out. The fruits would only come out much later. The leaves came up early and worked so diligently. They even “spoke in tongues” as they swayed and swirled on the branches whenever the winds blew. But the owner came and only picked the fruits. The fruits couldn’t even speak in tongues or anything, only hanging on the branches mute and quiet. But the gifted leaves were left behind and only the fruits were chosen.

Must you become leaves or fruits? This is a lesson I learned while lying on a thick bed of leaves in the mountains and meditating about nature. We must become fruits. And so these leaves are so upset with the mistreatment that they fall to the ground and roll about in tears. Then later these leaves become like mulch for next year’s fruits as they die and disappear for eternity. But these fruits, even if they fall to the ground, they can live again. Did you ever hear about fruits that die? Even if the fruit is dropped and covered with dirt, it will live and it will sprout. They live for eternity while leaves, once they fall, they die forever. We must be fruits.

Then, how does one become either fruits or leaves? Leaves come out early and start waving around, fanatically making noises and speaking in tongues. They show themselves off and are so clamorous. But though they are on the same tree hanging on the same branches, they only drink the water without bearing any life, wasting its existence in vain. There’s no life in them. However, the fruits may appear late, but they drink the life sap from the tree, and because they drink the life sap, they become the seeds of life.

People believe in the same God and the same Jesus. But those who appeared first only clamor about, screaming and boasting, speaking in tongues and dancing about. And yet they have no life, only continuously drinking those futile, lifeless doctrines. They came out early but have nothing to show for it. However, the group from the Upper Room came out so late, but they drank the life sap from the same God and the same Jesus. What is our Father’s life? It’s love. It’s the reason why you bear fruits immediately when you come here. Is there love in your heart that you never had before in all your life? Is there peace? Is there joy? Those are the fruits of the Holy Spirit. I hope that you will continue to drink this sap of life even when you return to your homes, to drink it until you go to heaven. Don’t ever drink those lifeless doctrines ever again or else you may end up as a leaf.

The fruits may grow but not all of them bear complete fruits. Sometimes while growing, they fall off the branches. Look at persimmons, they fall off. Why? You have to hold on to the branches very tight and continue receiving the sap of life. If you don’t hold on tightly, then you will fall even before the leaves have fallen. If that happens, you’re no better than leaves. I hope that all of you will become eternal fruits that the owner picks when he comes to harvest. May you not become leaves that roll around on the ground and die.

Then who is the King of heaven and the universe? How many are there? Only one. Who is He? He is our Real Father. And what does our heavenly Father only accept and give out? He only takes love and gives out love. He is the God of love. Have you become royalty coming here? Who begot you? Because the King of the universe begot you, you are all royalty. Why? What did you eat? You ate love, our Real Father’s love. So there’s no need for you to wait to be seated at the silver table in heaven; you’re already sitting at that table eating the heavenly food here. That’s why you are royalty. (Teacher draws on the chalkboard) This is a queen bee and this is a worker bee. The worker bee lives for little more than a month. It works day and night whether it’s raining or windy. It just does its work and leaves after a month. The queen doesn’t even work. It just flies around. The worker bee lives for forty days and the queen bee lives for more than 2,520 days. The worker bee only lives for a month. The queen bee lives eternally compared to the worker bee. Do you want to be a worker bee or a queen bee?

[But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood.] (1Pet 2:9) You are what? A royal priesthood. You are royalty. Then how can one become a queen bee? How does one become a worker bee? Someone might say, “Oh, the eggs of the queen bee are big and the eggs of the worker bee are small.” Is that true? There are many people here who take care of bees, who harvest honey. So I can’t lie. The eggs are the same. They are the same exact eggs. The difference is that if an egg is fed royal jelly, it becomes a queen, and if it’s fed sweet honey, it becomes a worker bee. So depending on what it eats, it becomes a queen bee or a worker bee. The queen bee will live long, almost eternally compared to the worker bee that will live for only a short period and die.

In the same way, if you look in Jeremiah 31:27, He said that in the last days in the church on Earth, there will be “the seed of the beast and the seed of man.” And who is man? It is written in Genesis1:26, [Let Us beget man in Our image.]When it says “man,” it is speaking of those who have God’s image. Those who don’t have God’s image, it doesn’t matter if they’re pastors, priests, or the pope, they’re all beasts. I hope that you will become the “man” who bears the image of God. People who are like the heavenly King are also the royalty of heaven. Who is beast then? It is Satan, the devil, that serpent of old. Here we have the seed of the beast and the seed of royalty. What’s the difference? Those who eat what the heavenly King eats the food of kings, become heavenly royalty. Those who eat the erroneous falseness of the beast become the seed of the beast. So depending on what you eat, you will become a part of the royal family of heaven or a beast of this earth.

But look at the people in the world. Instead of eating God’s love, which is life, they eat those lifeless doctrines and false teachings of the beast, that devil. And that’s why they have all become seeds of the beast. Have you come here to a good place? But you didn’t come here on your own. Our Daddy, He carried you here. So when you return back home, do not ever eat the food of the beast ever again. Jesus said that the food we eat on this earth is the food of pigs; when the prodigal son left the father, he just ate the food of pigs. Do not eat the food of beasts, those false doctrines, ever again. I hope that you will only eat the royal jelly of our Real Daddy’s love. Then you will live eternally and never die.

So this worker bee, all day and night it only thinks about work and what to eat. Those churches in the world only worry about their businesses. Do the people here in the Upper Room worry about business or not? No. All year long the people in the churches have discussions and meetings. Here, even though we’re an international group, we don’t have discussions or meetings. Once, a pastor from America came and when he heard that we were having a general assembly meeting, he thought people would raise their hands and give ideas, and we would hold a discussion for several days. But after reading from God’s Word, giving a message for an hour, that was it, end of the meeting. That was the whole of our annual meeting.

But this worker bee worries about his business all day long and all his life and then dies. The queen bee doesn’t worry about working. Instead, all it does is lay eggs. That’s why the people in the Upper Room just give birth to living souls. But what do the workers do? They lay smelly things. All of you have become the royalty of heaven. Because you ate what? You ate the royal jelly of our Real Daddy’s love, the very love which our Real Father accepts and eats. You have all become royalty. So I hope that you’ll only eat this royal jelly and never again eat those false doctrines – the food of the beast.

Let’s look at Ephesians 4:22-24. […that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.]

(Teacher draws on the board)These are the eggs of silkworms. I’m sure there are many people here who grow silkworms to make silk. The government used to make announcements for people to raise silkworms to make silk. They could take as many as they wanted. Anyway, when the silkworms are hatched from the eggs, they are these little white larvae; they are completely black and so small. You can’t even tell which part is the head and which is the tail. And you can’t feed it. So you have to cut off the leaves and sprinkle it and they will eat that. After eating for a while, they grow a little more and then stop eating. They lift up their heads and start their fasting prayer to God. I don’t know who told them to do that and whose sermon they heard, but if you listen to what they’re praying about, they’re saying, “O God, I have to grow bigger but I can’t grow anymore because of my skin. Please give me the power to take off my skin.” Sothe silkworm prays and receives an answer and sheds a layer of skin, this layer of skin of sin. And after he takes it off, he becomes so happy and starts to eat again. And he grows even bigger, and then he starts to fast and pray again. “O God, it isn’t good enough, please take off my skin again.” Then he sheds its skin again and again up to four times. So, since he took off his skin of sin four times, now he has become a senior of a theological school. Since he has shed his skin four times, shouldn’t he be proud of himself? Yes, he should be proud of himself.

Look at the humans in the world. They aren’t even able to shed their skin even once but they’re so proud. However, this little silkworm has taken off his skin of sin four times. He should be proud and lift his head high, but this silkworm doesn’t know how to be proud. He just shakes his head, “Oh, it isn’t good enough. No! It’s not enough. This isn’t it.” He keeps on examining himself, and then one day he makes up his mind. “I must make for myself a prayer room. I need to pray and fast for a long time.” So he builds his own prayer room. He stops eating and drinking. Just like in Daniel 1:8, he has made a resolution, a determination to go in this cocoon and only pray. He begins a prayer meeting for himself.

And while diligently building this prayer room, someone outside knocks on the door. “Who is it?”“Mr. Silkworm, it’s me!” It is his old girlfriend. “I’m sorry, please go away. It’s been a long time now that I’ve crucified all affection and greed on the cross.” And he doesn’t even open the door for her. “I’m sorry, please forget about me.” So his girlfriend leaves in tears.

A few moments later, “Knock-knock!” “Who is it?” “It’s me, your friend. You remember the money that I borrowed from you, the $500? Here it is.” “Just take it. I gave up all my selfishness and greed. You can keep the money.”

Even if his girlfriend comes, she is asked to leave. Even if his friend comes to repay his money, he doesn’t care. He doesn’t change his mind. He has made a firm determination and will not yield. I hope that you will all become like this silkworm and make a firm resolve.

So after praying for a long, long time in his prayer room, just as he eagerly desired, he becomes an angel with white wings. He becomes a white angel that can fly. Did he receive an answer to his prayer? Yes, he received an answer. You will go to heaven in the same way. But those who cannot make a firm resolve, who cannot crucify their affections and greed on the cross, will never be able to go to heaven.

There are some silkworms that mistakenly defecate in their house; such silkworms fail in their goal. We should never make any mistakes and defecate in our lives and characters. Like the holy prayer place, we should also be holy. So at last, this silkworm becomes an angel that flies in the sky. No matter how large this silkworm may grow to be, no matter how much it eats, what does it do? It only defecates. But this butterfly can fly around here and there. The silkworm must chew on something, a leaf or a bark, it just keeps chewing and defecating. But the butterfly flies around this flower and that flower. Though it sits on so many flowers, it does not chew on or harm any flower, all it does is help flowers to pollenate. It becomes a worker that helps flowers regenerate and sanctify.  

So please ask yourselves, “Am I a silkworm or a butterfly?” Please search yourselves as you ask that question. If all you can do is chew on your husband or wife, or chew on the brethren around you and cause them pain, then you’re still a silkworm with only smelly things coming out from your characters. So the butterfly goes here and there and it can meet many people but it doesn’t hurt anyone. It will not harm anyone but instead, it gives out life. It shares life to others.

Nature is our lesson book. It’s written in the Bible, “You lazy being! Go and learn from the ants.” But I would like to say, “You foolish people who do not know how to be regenerated and sanctified, learn from the silkworm!” Even bugs that can’t talk shed their skin four times, and still that’s not enough for them as they continue to pray and fast, to end up becoming angels. But how is it that those people in the world that have believed in Jesus all their lives are not able to shed off their skin of sin even once. I hope that you will daily shed this skin of sin. Not every meeting but every single day. That is the only way you can go to the eternal heaven.

Those who say, “Oh, I attended the seminar many, many times,” shouldn’t be proud of that. Just as I told you before, those who attended the seminar many times are arrogant and they have become critics. “Ah, this hour we will listen to this.” And when it’s time to watch the video taped messages, they say, “Teacher is not going to come out this hour, so let’s go to sleep.” Will my flesh, will my body change you? It’s the words from my lips that will really change you. Video hours are the most important and that’s why I don’t come out personally; I come out during the hours when you are most sleepy or not paying much attention. People don’t realize that. So whether you watch a video or listen to me directly, I hope you will listen to me carefully that you may shed your skin of sin everyday, during every hour, to eventually fly to heaven. But now you have all become critics and think that you know everything. You say. “It’s the same thing, the same story.” You go to the small seminars and you say, “That speaker is so-and-so and she’s so-and-so….” You have become so stubborn and there’s no way for the Word to inter into their hearts. We must cut off the outer layer of our hearts and receive the Word. The Word must be the flesh that newly grows around our open hearts.

I was originally born in the family of a farmer so I used to farm as well. Last year, there was an unused plot of land and it seemed like a waste, so I decided to plant watermelons there so we could enjoy them in the summer. I gathered all our brethren that lived below and suggested we plant watermelons, so they came and we dug holes and put in fertilizer. We put in chicken manure and mulch, mixed them all together. We put fine dirt and made all these holes for the watermelon seeds. Now if you want to eat watermelons, what do you need? Who do you have to invite? You have to invite watermelon seeds. You have to convince them to grow and bear fruits. So I took the watermelon seeds and gave them a sermon. Watermelon seeds are so full of sin that they’re black. They’re so stubborn and hardhearted, crafty and cunning, without much of a conscience. So I gathered those fastidious watermelon seeds together and gave a sermon. “You watermelon seeds, will you listen to me? Please listen to me. Don’t fall asleep.” I woke them all up. “I will regenerate and sanctify you and make long vines of regeneration grow out from you that are thousands of times longer than your small bodies. And you will bear the fruits of sanctification hundreds and thousands of times larger than you. Will you say, ‘Amen’?” Are you watermelon seeds? I’m talking about the watermelon seeds right now.  

But never mind saying, “Amen,” these watermelon seeds began to laugh in derision, saying, “How ridiculous! Look at us! We’re so hard and so small. But you’re saying there will be vines of regeneration and fruits of sanctification hundreds, thousands of times larger than us that will sprout from us?” They all started laughing amongst themselves and didn’t even listen to me. They just looked at one another all black and shiny, and only laughed at me. How frustrating. But I was persistent and I spoke to them again. “If you can’t believe me and you can’t say ‘Amen,’ then will you just entrust your hearts and bodies to me? I will take responsibility and make you bear the vines of regeneration and the fruits of sanctification. Will you do that?” And they agreed to that, so now we had an agreement.

After finally convincing the watermelon seeds to trust me, I went to the well and brought some water. Then I threw the watermelon seeds into the bowl of water. As they went in, they said, “What? You said you were going to regenerate and sanctify us, but instead you drown us and throw us here inside the water.” They started to complain as they bobbled up and down, up and down. Later, they were very angry as they settled at the bottom of the bowl. In the evening, when I took them out of the bowl, they were a mess, furious and swollen with tears and mucus. “You said that you’d make us grow big and bear huge fruits, but how could you treat us like this!”

Regardless of their complaining, since they agreed to commit themselves to me and I guaranteed that they would bear fruits, in order to fulfill my promise, I took them into a room and wrapped them in a damp towel. After that I set them under a blanket in a warm room. Then they started to yell at me, “Hey, it’s so stuffy here!” They had been crying all day long and were so upset at me, but I threw them under a blanket in a towel. They were so frustrated and made a big uproar. “I don’t need regeneration and I don’t want sanctification. I don’t need anything. Let us out!” They cried and yelled all night long.

The next morning, I took them out and looked at them. All of a sudden they were saying, “Hey, look at me! What’s wrong with me? I have a tail! You have a tail too!” They all had white tails coming out from their rear. Oh, how embarrassing. They were all so embarrassed. “Oh, what a shame. Look at me, I have a tail!” Then I took them to the field, to the pits and holes that we had dug. I took two or three of them and I put them in the furrows so that they could live the country life. But when I put them in there, they said, “Oh, it smells like chicken manure. It smells so bad here!” They forgot that they were embarrassed. “Get me out of here!” For many days they struggled like this to get out, and finally they did. As they looked up, the sun was shining on them, saying, “Good job! You made it!” Without even realizing it, true leaves of regeneration had sprouted.

“What happened to me? Where is my tail?” The tail was in the ground and his tail became roots and his arms became two leaves that spread out into a V for victory. “Finally, I’m victorious. I did it.” From then on, the vines of regeneration came out hundreds and thousands of times longer than the seed it originally was. That small seed not even an inch long grew vines that were many feet long. Later, big leaves came out of these vines. Then this big watermelon came out.

At first, the owner’s words seemed so unbelievable. To the stubborn-hearted, not even a drop of water would enter their hearts. But because the watermelon seeds committed themselves to the owner, they became regenerated and sanctified.

There are times when you believe the words that I say here, but there are times when you just can’t, you cannot even bring yourself to say, “Amen.”Since you can’t believe what I’m saying, how you can say “Amen.” But even if you can’t believe it, if you only commit yourselves to our Real Daddy, then that’s it, that’s all you need to do. How can you say, “Amen” when you can’t believe? No one can say, “Amen” when the belief isn’t there. How can you force yourself to believe something you can’t believe? But even if you can’t believe what I say, just commit yourselves to Real Daddy. That’s all you need to do.

Next, I live in Songni Mountain. Every year the mountain birds would come down and have their young under the roof of my house. Last year, even the squirrels and chipmunks had their young in the bathroom and closet outside. So the birds would come and lay their eggs. One time, I gave a sermon to the bird’s eggs.

“Hey eggs, listen to me. I made this nice house here. I made this nice storage closet where the rain and snow won’t get in and to protect you from the wind. I’ll make it so that you can fly way up into that blue sky. Not only that, you’ll become angels that sing as you fly. Say ‘Amen.’” Why you are saying “Amen”? Are you the birds? I was talking about the birds. I told them to say “Amen,” but instead they said, “What a joke! How funny!” They turned their backs on me as if I didn’t know that they were making fun of me, as if I didn’t know that they were laughing at me. They said, “Look at us. We’re so weak and so fragile. If someone just flicks a finger, we’ll crack and die. We don’t have the ability to roll around on our own. We don’t even have the legs to stand up. But what? We’re going to fly like an angel? No way! It’s a joke. Say something that makes sense. You’re saying that we’re going to fly and sing like an angel?” It was impossible for them to believe and they couldn’t say, “Amen.” “You’re crazy. It’s not possible!” they said.

Though I was rather upset, I just remained patient. I said, “Fine, just do what I tell you to do. Will you do that? Stay in your mother’s bosom. Stay in there no matter what happens. Inside this storage closet where there’s no rain or snow that will get to you, just do not be arrogant and fall off to the side but stay in your mother’s bosom. Will you do that?” “Yes.” They made up their minds to obey. Staying in their mother’s bosom was something they could do. After many days, they came out as little chicks with beaks that picked through their eggshells out into the world. Since I told them to stay in their mother’s bosom, how frustrating and claustrophobic it must have been at first. “How come I haven’t any wings? How come I can’t fly?” And when they can’t be patient and fall out of the nest, they end up dying. But the birds that stay in the nest and eat the food that the mother gives them, later on their wings become strong and they are able to fly.

All of you are like these bird’s eggs. You might say, “Look at me, I’m so fragile. Even if I fall from a high place I’ll break my arms or legs, but you’re saying I will ascend to heaven? I will fly throughout the stars? That’s inconceivable!” And you can’t bring yourself to say “Amen.” But don’t worry about it. Just don’t leave our Real Daddy’s bosom, then He will take responsibility to making sure you become an angel that flies. Even eggs become birds that can fly in the sky. Why couldn’t you become angels that fly throughout the universe? So even though you can’t believe it, don’t force yourself to believe, don’t even say “Amen.” Just commit yourselves to Real Daddy, that’s all.

This time I took pine tree seeds and I gave a sermon. It seems I always give sermons wherever I go. The pine tree is the king of trees. It’s an evergreen but its seed is so small. The seed of pumpkins and watermelons are quite big, but even though the tree so big, the pine tree seeds are tiny and as thin as paper. So I took the small seed and I gave a sermon.

“You pine seeds, I will make you grow a hundred thousand times larger than you are now. I will make you pierce up to the heavens as an evergreen, an eternal tree. Later people will come to your branches and they’ll sing, they’ll climb up on your branches and play their flutes, and birds will come and make their homes in your branches. Will you say ‘Amen’?”

But instead of saying “Amen,” they looked at me with narrowed eyes. They wanted to fly out. They wanted to go away. “No! This is all wrong!” And they tried to run away. “I might get caught in this fanaticism.” And they wanted to ride on the wind of heresy and run away. “Be patient, be patient I say! Please listen to just one more message.” But they only replied, “Look at us, we’re as thin as paper. We’re so skinny and small. You said that we were going to grow thousands and millions of times bigger than we are now. We’re going to pierce through the sky and birds will sing in our branches and people will climb on us and play the flute? This is unimaginable, it’s fanaticism!” They couldn’t even imagine such a thing happening. When the winds blow, their bodies would be blown away together with even the slightest breeze. So how could people climb on them and birds lay their eggs and sing for them. There was no one who could say, “Amen.”They all wanted to run away.

I barely got them to be patient for three days. And I kept giving them a sermon. “If you can’t believe what I’m saying, then I have one request. I will guarantee that you’ll grow into a beautiful tree, the king of trees. Just give your body and soul to me, and then I’ll guarantee it. Will you do that?” And they agreed to endure just three days. So I took these pine seeds to a nice piece of land where it was sunny and I buried them in the ground. And they said, “What? You said you would make us pierce the sky and people will climb on us and birds will come and sing to us, but you’re burying us here in this dirt?” The seeds were so angry. “You buried me alive! You deceived me! I knew this would happen, I’ve fallen into error!” They were in an uproar. “You said that you’d make us pierce the sky but it’s dark and we can’t even see the sun! Where is the sky?”

So I told them, “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit!” I also was upset now so I said this rather loudly and went home quite angry. Pine trees need to have some patience. I didn’t care whether they screamed or yelled out curses. Even after many, many days passed, of course, they were still upset and wouldn’t listen to me, being even more rebellious. But my words had become a seed in their hearts. After many struggles, they pierced through the ground and came out to face the sun. “Good job! You made it!” How astonishing it was! They had leaves of regeneration and they kept on growing and growing. Finally that little pine seed became a tree so large that it pierced the sky. Birds came and sang for them. People climbed up the tree and played their flutes. They became the trees of eternal life.

Whether the watermelon seeds, the pine tree seeds, the eggs – it’s speaking about all of you. All of you were black– filled with sin like the watermelon seeds. You were so stubborn. Your conscience was so hardened that not even a needle could penetrate it. In the beginning, you looked at me with narrowed eyes, saying, “This is fanaticism! Let’s get out of here!” You barely made it until the third day. But as I look at your faces now, you’re all smiling. Two leaves of regeneration have come out. Since the leaves of regeneration have come out and you have the root of faith that has sprouted, I hope that you’ll continue to grow and commit yourself to the heavenly Farmer. Then He will make you an angel that can fly throughout the universe and the heavenly host will come and sing to you. You’ll be like that eternal living pine tree. You’ll bear many fruits all throughout the world like the watermelon. May you become like a bird that flies to heaven to live for eternity.
