THE FIRST BIBLE – NATURE 2

L
et’s read Romans chapter 1 verse 20. [For since the creation of the world, His visible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.]
If our eyes were opened to read the first Bible, we wouldn’t need this paper Bible, we could walk with God not committing sin and enter into eternal life. The reason why I use Bible verses here is to match your level. I do not need the Bible and I could still walk with my Father without any impediments.
If you look in Romans chapter 8 verse 22, [For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.] Verse 19 [For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.] All of creation groans and labors with birth pangs together up to now because they have been eagerly waiting for the revealing of the sons of God. Do you know why nature has been waiting for the real son of God with weeping and lamenting? Due to the mistake of the owners of this earth, they ended up dying such a futile death; thus the Father and Jesus discarded Their lives in order to recover and save us. At the same time, all of creation, even the trees were so troubled in order to save these owners.
The trees went through so much, even risking their lives in order to save us. I will explain to you how. Spring, summer, autumn passes, and when winter comes, those trees which had such green leaves do not turn pale and dry out but they turn a bright yellow. Vibrant green leaves change their colors to a very deep yellow color as they fall. With some trees, the green leaves turn a completely different color, a blood red as they fall. Why? This is the groaning and anguish of creation.
Before the children of this earth fell and left our Real Father’s bosom, none of the trees ever dropped their leaves and not a single leaf fell to the ground. But when God’s children departed from our Father’s bosom, all of creation, all the trees, changed their clothes into blood red and fell to the ground one by one. The trees are stripped bare and die. Some leaves change into a completely different color, from green to a golden yellow as they fall one by one. What is this? These are the trees trying to teach these foolish owners a final lesson. Until then, they put all their energy into teaching these owners that cannot come to their senses a lesson, and what is that? These trees put in all their energy to bear fruits. And though there are many different kinds of fruits, you can see that most of them are either red or yellow. Yellow represents our Father’s love, which is thicker than the love of the cross, and red represents the love of Jesus Christ’s blood on the cross.
So these trees put all their energy into the fruits and they bear red fruits representing Jesus’ love. They bear these fruits saying, “Master, as you eat these, please don’t forget Jesus’ love and His sacrifice for you. Don’t sin anymore. Return to our Real Father,” and it gives itself up to us. But these masters only eat the fruit, saying, “Oh this is expensive! This is delicious!” and they don’t even realize the lesson that these trees are trying to teach putting all their energy into bearing these fruits for them. Then there are some fruits that are yellow, teaching us that it is our Real Father’s love. “Master, eat this fruit and as you eat it, don’t forget our Real Father’s love which is thicker than the blood of the cross. Please don’t ever sin again and return to our Real Father.” But people just eat it, saying, “Oh, this is so expensive!” and after eating it, they just sin again.
They’re trying to teach these children in this way and in that way, as they moan and groan. They have lost all their energy and become dry. So as a last resort, all the trees and creation say, “We tried to bear fruits and teach them a lesson, but they still can’t understand, so let’s just risk our lives, throw our lives and save our owners.” When winter comes, these empty-hearted owners put on their coats and jackets because it’s cold, but the trees take off all their clothes and freeze to death in order to teach us a final lesson.
What is the final lesson? They used to wear clothes, thick skirts made of green leaves. Even though they fed their owners fruits of yellow and red, they still couldn’t come to an understanding, so the trees decided to give a visible lesson that these owners could see for themselves by changing their colors from green to red which is the color of the blood of Jesus. And as they change their clothes, the leaves begin to fall one by one. These owners should see this and learn a lesson, “Master, look at me! Jesus sacrificed and shed His blood for all of you so please don’t forget the blood that was shed for you, and do not sin but return to our Real Father.” This is the last lesson and request by all the trees.
Some trees change their clothes to yellow leaves as they fall one by one, saying, “Master, please look at me. I’m trying to show you our Father’s great love greater than the blood of the cross as He weeps grasping onto His Son dead on the cross. Please never again forget our Father’s love thicker than the blood of the cross. Please never sin again and return to our Real Father.” This is their last lesson to us.
Instead of just staying green and drying out, why do those trees with green leaves turn into a completely different color like blood red or a golden yellow before they fall? In the universe, before these youngest children, these owners fell and died, those leaves never changed colors. The leaves never changed colors and fell like that, but through their death and sacrifice, they were giving a final lesson. But looking at the changing colors, these foolish humans sit under those trees, sing and dance and drink, saying it’s an autumn festival, and there is no one who understands this lesson. That’s why creation failed in their endeavors once again. Later, they freeze to death naked and gaunt. All of creation lament in anguish because these owners cannot come to their sense. And as they lament, what do they wait for?
Romans chapter 8 verse 21. [For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.] For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Yes, has creation groaned and labored with birth pangs because of us until now? And so because of that, verse 19, [For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.] They put all their energy to giving their fruit, yet these owners still couldn’t understand. They took off all their clothes and even died to teach them, but still these owners couldn’t understand this lesson. That’s why creation is waiting for the sons of God to appear and shout so loudly that their ears will split and pop. Has that son appeared at last? Yes, he has appeared.
If you look in Ezekiel chapter 9 verse 4, [And the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”] “Finally, the real Son of God has appeared. [Now go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem], throughout this earth and [put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry ever all the abominations that are done within it.] Seal those children who lament together with the Son and allow them to go to heaven.” It means that only those who listen to the real Son and those who follow Him, shouting so loudly that the ears of those foolish sinners will pop, only those who follow His message and repent will be sealed and transferred to heaven. I hope that you will be those very beings.
And so, in order to enlighten these foolish masters, all of creation have taken off their remaining clothes and died having frozen to death. And because the God of heaven was so thankful, He says, “Oh! You died in order to teach My foolish sons and daughters,” and when winter comes, He covers them in white clothes of righteousness. In the winter, look at the branches of trees when they are covered with snow. Though there are many different kinds of trees, they all wear the same white clothes, and when I see them I’m so thankful to them.
For the trees that gave their lives for others, our Real Father revives them the following spring with leaves of regeneration, flowers of sanctification, and fruits of the Holy Spirit once again. He made them become trees of eternal life. When the spring comes, do these trees say, “Oh, I better sprout leaves,” and though these trees are so hard, do green leaves just sprout from them? No, it is by our Real Father’s power that He resurrects them. It’s not the trees themselves.
Then there are the evergreens. They say, “O Master, look at me! Please keep your chastity to God as I do.” Other trees are giving their lives to enlighten their owners as they become naked and die for them. We should be like those trees and not live for ourselves but for others. That’s why our Real Father resurrects them and gives them eternal life the following year. But look at the grass, they only live for themselves. Later, they become brown and dry up but they are not revived. They live only one year and that’s it. But because trees give up their lives for others, our Real Father is grateful to them, loves them, resurrects them, and gives them eternal life.
So what does the Bible say? It says that God will never take those humans who are like grass. You must be like trees. Even Jesus called Himself a tree. We must be like the trees and try to awaken those beast-like foolish humans by proclaiming the love of our God whose love is thicker than the blood of the cross, of Jesus’ love as thick as the blood of the cross, even if we end up dying by their hands. Let’s be the ones who risk our lives to awaken the people with the love of God and teach them His love. Only such people will be clothed with God’s garment of righteousness, to live eternally walking in the paradise of eternal spring. But those who are like grass and only live for themselves, who only eat and drink for themselves, will all die. Such humans who are like grass will never be resurrected or given eternal life. I hope that you will become trees.
If only your eyes of regeneration would open, there is nothing that wouldn’t be a lesson, nothing that wouldn’t be truth. You must become sages and Gods and sons of God. The child of a human is human, the offspring of a cow is a calf; we must become Gods. It’s not like that Roman pope, not that kind of god, but we must become a son of God who has His character. We must become a son of God that lives as a God should and a son of God that obeys Him.
After the 47th Seminar, I went to Kangwon Province to visit someone. Please read John chapter 21 verse 1. [After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself.] “After Jesus ascended to heaven, He came to His disciples again and again, repeatedly.” After Jesus went to heaven, it’s not that He didn’t show Himself, but to His disciples of the next generation He showed Himself again and again to those who really loved Him. Jesus must appear to all of you today as well. Where? From within the first Bible, nature, for He will appear and teach you lessons. This is what it means to walk with the true living Jesus.
There was a pastor from Hiroshima, Japan, and he said, “Teacher, please lay your hands on me and pray for me. If you look in the book of Mount of Blessings, it says that those who have even the slightest bit of selfishness and greed cannot see nature, but I can’t see nature. Please pray for me.” But laying my hands on him will not get rid of his selfishness and greed. You must get rid of it from your heart. Please throw away all that selfishness and greed. There are no such things in our Father’s heart. We must have the same heart as Jesus.
Then let me tell you how I met Jesus. It’s surely written that even after Jesus’ resurrection, He appeared to His beloved disciples again and again. He appeared to them at the seashore and in the mountains. So when I went to Kangwon Province and arrived there, our brethren knew that I liked mountains so they wanted to take me sightseeing to some mountains. I agreed and we rode in a van with all the elders, deacons, and deaconesses. We went very deep into the mountains and there was a creek flowing there. It was right after the 47th Seminar and I was very tired so after having lunch there, in order to relieve my exhaustion, the brethren stayed below and I climbed up the mountain where there was a small water fall. I took off my clothes and sat under the small water fall. A nice friend came by with cool hands on that hot day and began to massage my shoulders and my back. When I turned around, it was the water friend and it whispered to me while continuing to massage me, “Master, how hard you worked to save the world during this 47th Seminar.” When people massage me, I have to say, “Ouch! Ouch! Too hard! Gently!” but this water friend didn’t hurt me at all. It was so cool as it massaged my shoulders and back.
I didn’t know the water friend could be so nice, so I asked it, “Water, for what purpose were you born on this earth?” And this water replied, “I was born to sacrifice myself for others, to be consumed, to clean people’s dirty bodies inside and out, to only offer my services.” I was so astonished! The water friend is the only friend that gives itself to be consumed by others. Many humans want to devour others, but there are none who will let themselves be eaten. So this water was born to be eaten by others, to clean people’s insides and outsides. It was born to serve. That’s why I was so surprised to see this selfless friend who only sacrificed itself. So I ask this friend another question.

“Water, how is it that you can jump down from such a high place ten, twenty, a hundred feet, and not be afraid? How can you go to such dark places, to the swamps and deep forests with a smile?” You know, if people jump from somewhere ten feet or more, they hesitate, saying, “What if I break my legs?” But water just jumps without fear, without hesitation. So I asked, “Aren’t you afraid?” And it answered, “Prince, why do you worry about that? God is with me. What is there to be afraid of? I completely believe in my loving God. I have given myself completely up to Him, that’s why I can jump from anywhere no matter how high.”
I didn’t know water had this kind of faith. People are afraid to jump and hesitate, wondering if someone will protect them or not. But because water gives itself completely to God, it just jumps unhesitatingly without fear. It also believes that the Father will be with it, so it goes to the dark forests smiling without fear. I did not know that water had such strong faith.
Then I asked a third question. “Water, with what happiness do you live in this world?” And the water replied, “I live in the joy of obeying God’s word day and night. Before when I didn’t obey Him, I became rotten and smelly. No animals or birds would be my friend, no one would drink me. But as I obeyed God, birds became my friends, even deer and other animals became my friends as only joyful songs burst out from my mouth while flowing along. That is the happiness with which I live in.”
Water lives for the happiness of obeying God. God commanded the water, “Be humble, flow down,” and it obeys. But if the water were to disobey God, not wanting to obey, saying “No, I don’t want to go down. I can’t go down. I’m going to stay in the high place,” and if it didn’t flow down, water would rot. That disobedient water would rot, and birds would not come and sing, and the deer would not come and drink it. But because it obeys God and flows down, to go wherever God leads, first, the water itself lives. And because it lives, new songs come out from its lips every time it goes to new places.
Also, because water lives in the happiness of obeying God, when cross-tempered rocks block its way, saying, “You can’t pass. Who do you think you are singing like that? Stop your singing at once!” and it blocks the way, even though this water didn’t do anything wrong, it just bows down and cleanses the rock inside and out soothingly, saying, “Don’t be angry.” Pacifying the rock, it just passes it by from the side, from under, from above, from behind. That’s why cross-tempered rocks that are washed by this water become so clean.
Next, there are other rocks that are blocking the way, saying, “Why are you singing? You can’t pass!” Then the water just says, “Oh, don’t be like that,” and it bows and cleans the rocks as it passes. Then all the trees and other plants on either side of the stream point their fingers and say, “What an idiot that water is! What did the water do wrong that it should bow down and apologize for no reason! Why does it wash that mean rock! Ah, the water is so empty-headed. Why bother cleaning those dirty rocks?” And they ridicule the water. But the water doesn’t care. It just keeps on bowing down all the way to its homeland. Even though the rocks get in its way, it keeps on serving them and continually obeys God to the end.
Finally, the God of heaven says, “That’s right, you are righteous,” and receiving acknowledgement by God, they reach the ocean where they finally ascend to heaven. So many tons of water ascend to heaven every day. But those rocks that block its way and all the trees that point their fingers and ridicule the water, not even one of them ascends to heaven as they just remain on this earth. I hope that you will become like water.
In this water, I saw Jesus. Jesus was saying, “This is Me. I’m water.” To this beloved disciple, Jesus was saying, “Myung Ho, this water is Me. This water is born only to be eaten by others and to clean others inside and out.” This water was Jesus. As the Lamb, Jesus was born to be captured and killed by these sinners, to clean and purify people’s bodies and souls. Not only that, because He committed His whole life to our heavenly Father, He could jump from heaven to this earth and from this earth into the grave. He did so because He fully committed Himself to our heavenly Father. That’s why Jesus was water.
Not only that, Jesus lived in the happiness of obeying God. When all those cross-tempered Jewish theology professors said, “Who do you think You are? You didn’t even come out of theology school,” Jesus never fought with them. He just gave an answer and slipped away time and again. And those Jews could not heal anyone, and still they asked for money, but though Jesus healed so many people, He never asked for or received any money. That’s why people said. “What an empty-headed fool He is! What did He do wrong that He should be ridiculed like that? Why can’t He even take the money they offer Him? Everyone else takes the money even if they can’t heal anyone.” They point their fingers at Him and ridicule Him. And yet, though those proud, arrogant, and stubborn people only blocked His way, Jesus just avoided them and easily went around them like water, continuing to live in obedience to God. Finally, because He was acknowledged as worthy by God, when all those cross-tempered priests were destroyed and died on this earth, when all those that had ridiculed Jesus were not able to ascend and remained on this earth, Jesus ascended to heaven. That’s why this water is Jesus.
In all of nature, I hope that you’ll discover Jesus and meet our Father. But I’m not saying the water itself is Jesus. Our Father is in all things and above all things. Wherever we look all throughout creation, they are educators that reveal God and Jesus to us. When I said this, those Adventist pastors started to say, “That Park Myung Ho is teaching pantheism. He’s a pantheist.” But that is not what pantheism is. Pantheism was first introduced by a person called Kellogg. What is pantheism? It is saying the sun is God. The moon is God. The stars are God. The trees are God. Everything is God. Let’s worship everything.” They don’t even know what pantheism is; if they’re ignorant, they should just stay silent and they won’t be humiliated. What I’m teaching you is the first Bible that Jesus taught two thousand years ago. They are one and the same.
This is what you would call spiritual enlightenment. It is the Christians who should be spiritually enlightened and not those idol-worshipping Buddhists in the world. But what are Christians? They are bread baskets and money baskets. They only want bread and money. I hope that you will be spiritually and divinely enlightened and ascend to heaven like Jesus.
There is nothing that isn’t a lesson in all that you see. If you go to the mountains, there is an insect called cicada. They fast and pray for seven years underground. “God, please help me so that I can be regenerated and sanctified. Let me be an angel that can fly in the sky and praise You.” And for seven up to fourteen years they will pray; in the end they become regenerated and sanctified, to becoming flying cicadas. There are also dragonflies. They squirm about in the water, crawling on that shallow water. But after earnest prayer, they become regenerated and sanctified to fly throughout the sky.
One day, I went to the Chon-hwang Peak for the first time. The word “Songni” from Songni Mountain means “a mountain that has left the secular world.” In other words, it is a holy mountain, and the very highest peak is called Chon-hwang Peak. The meaning of Chon-hwang Peak is “The Peak of the Heavenly Emperor.” When I am exhausted on the verge of fainting after the seminar, I go to the mountains and am refreshed and strengthened. One time, we had just moved not too long ago to the Songni Mountain and I hadn’t gone up to the top yet and wanted to go. Then my family said, “You are so tired. Where are you going? How can you go to the top of Songni Mountain?” And they were quite worried, but I said, “Don’t worry,” because once I set my mind to do something, no one can stop me. So I set out.
On the way up, the birds were singing and dancing in front of me. These pretty birds had combed their hair as they said, “Oh, welcome! King, welcome! Please look at this side. Look at that side.” And when I look at this side, “Wow!” and when I look at that side, “Wow!” How wonderful it was! They kept on following me and dancing with me all the way up to the top. On the way up, all these flowers with different colored ribbons were welcoming me as well.
Finally I reached the peak. At the top of the peak was a sign, “Chon-hwang Peak.” I said, “Chon-hwang Peak, here I am!” And because I came, this Chon-hwang Peak was beside itself with joy, unable to raise its head because its master had come. Do you know why Chon-hwang Peak likes me so much? Chon-hwang Peak means that it is the peak where the Heavenly Emperor sits. But though it has the name Chon-hwang Peak, the peak where the Heavenly Emperor sits, everyone used to make fun of it, saying, “Just because you’re tall, does that make you Chon-hwang Peak? The Heavenly Emperor has to be seated there for you to be Chon-hwang Peak! You’re just Chon-hwang Peak in name!” And other mountain peaks had persecuted this Chon-hwang Peak like this until now. So this Chon-hwang Peak couldn’t raise its head, always timid and embarrassed. But when I went there, this Chon-hwang Peak  was so happy, saying, “Finally, the King has come and now I’m truly Chon-hwang Peak!” That’s why it was so delighted to see me. So I sat on Chon-hwang Peak’s forehead and sang a song and it was so pleased. There, my Father told me, “I have established you as the King of Israel and as the Guide for all of humanity. I entrust My sons to you.” He spoke to me and I was restored and filled with strength and vitality.
I thought I was the highest in the world but there was a friend higher than me. As I looked up, dragonflies were flying above me. “Oh, how dare they be higher than me! I thought I was the highest.” You know at first, these dragonflies are mere insects crawling on the water. They can’t even dance like the goldfish or eels, only crawling about on the water. But after praying to God, it becomes regenerated and sanctified to become an angel that flies throughout the sky. Even dragonflies squirming on the water become angels that fly in the sky, so why couldn’t you become regenerated and sanctified to go to heaven? That’s how foolish humans are. It’s unbelievable that people believe in Jesus their whole lives and still they can’t go to heaven. Is that Jesus? That’s a demon!
What about cicadas that are underground for seven to fourteen years, after they are completely regenerated and sanctified, they become dancing and singing cicadas. How about butterflies? People in Korea call butterflies “nabi.” When they say “nabi,” its meaning is, “Not me. Not me. I’m impossible. Not me.” We should not call it “nabi” but “nabo” which means “Look at me, I can do it. Look at me! Look at me!” That butterfly at first was a little caterpillar but later, it became a dancing angel that flies. So even bugs and insects can become regenerated and fly, then why couldn’t God’s real children ascend to heaven? I hope that all of you will become “nabos,” the butterflies that can.
In order to praise God once, this cicada prays to God persistently and earnestly for seven to fourteen years. Afterwards, it sings for only four weeks. In order to sing for only one month and die, this cicada prays for seven to fourteen years. But by being regenerated just once, those Christians would be able to give praises for eternity, but no matter how much I urge them, they can’t even do that and end up dying. They are humans no better than insects. May you surely become like the butterflies. Why couldn’t you become greater and more marvelous true children of God than those dragonflies or cicadas? I hope that you will all ascend to heaven.
Everything in creation is a lesson to all of us. When I went to the mountains, the butterflies and other insects were flying around and dancing, but there was a devil there as well. What devil? It’s the spider. “Woooo,” and it was trying to catch those insects. Others had fasted and prayed for seven, fourteen years to become regenerated, but this spider was trying to catch these cicadas, butterflies, and dragonflies, weaving the web of fallacy between trees. You can’t see it, but God knew they might have trouble, so with dragonflies, He gave them many eyes, the spirit of discernment. God said, “Use your eyes of discernment that I’ve given you and be careful to not get caught in that web.” But some insects were so happy and dancing around carelessly until they got caught. Once they get caught, the spider in hiding grabs them, covers them with its web so they can’t breathe, then starts to eat them.
All of you will leave here dancing and singing like butterflies and dragonflies, but make sure you are careful that you don’t get caught in those webs of fallacy. Right now outside, this demon has weaved webs around your families and your churches. Once you get caught, they’re going to bind you up so you can’t breathe, and they’ll tell you, “Pay, pay, pay,” demanding your money, devouring you from the inside. Please use your spiritual discernment that you’ve received here and be careful.
One time when I went to the mountains, it was winter and there were these bushes that looked just like people with loose, tangled hair. They were bent over and weeping, saying, “Oh, I’m impossible. I can’t change. I’m hopeless.” How about oak trees? They had their arms crossed, saying, “I’m no good. I can’t become regenerated or sanctified either.” So the pine tree said, “No, don’t be like that. Be patient.” “No, no. I’m no good,” and those bush heads were bent over crying. But in the following spring, those bushes that had been bent over crying became regenerated and sanctified bearing leaves and flowers. Even the oak trees all became regenerated and sanctified. Please don’t become discouraged like that bush but be patient like the pine tree. There’s nothing in nature that isn’t a lesson for us.
Another time, I went to the mountains during the late autumn. Winter was just around the corner, but I saw this big tree. It had taken off its shirt and was showing off its muscles and measuring its biceps. “Ahem, look at me.” I asked, “What are you doing that for?” “Right now, the cross-tempered persecutor, General Winter is coming and I’m going to fight him and I’m going to win.” “Oh, really?” And it seemed quite possible. But then this small tree had its shirt off and it was measuring its biceps as well. “And what are you doing?” I asked. “Oh, the cross-tempered General Winter is coming and I’m going to fight against it and win.” “Ah, perhaps you will.” When spring came, I saw that both the big tree and little tree had been victorious in battle. There is also a tribulation waiting for us, the greatest tribulation unprecedented in history. Your victory is not guaranteed just because you are young or old or a pastor. Only those who are armed with the Word and can show some muscle will be able to overcome it. Sometimes, even huge trees just freeze to death and die. May you all become trees that arm yourselves with the living God’s powerful Word.
After visiting our members in Kangwon Province, I was on my way to the East Sea. At that time, summer had passed and it was autumn. You know, mountains are holy. These mountains are truly holy. There was the holy Sorak Mountain that had endured so much trouble by those filthy secular humans all summer long. It was so upset having been so greatly defiled. You know that mountains have a face and chest, don’t you? But these filthy secular humans had come in groups, shouting, drinking, throw their beer bottles and breaking them, urinating and defecating anywhere and everywhere … and so Sorak Mountain was so upset. Having endured that all summer long, it was so angry and on the verge of exploding. It had made up its mind never to meet people again, so it covered itself with a thick blanket of fog because it was so upset.
It was about this time that the heavenly Crown Prince was passing by in a car. The Sorak Mountain next door was so surprised and said, “Oh, the Crown Prince! The Crown Prince is coming!” The rumor spread from mountain to mountain, “The Crown Prince is coming! The Crown Prince is coming!” The disgruntled Sorak Mountain got rid of its blanket of fog and began looking for me, “Where is he? Where?” Then the sleepy head rocks, those huge boulders, began to peer over each other, tip toeing to get a glimpse at the Crown Prince passing by in his car. But the boulder in the back couldn’t see because of the tall boulder in front, so it said, “Hello Mr. Rock, please don’t tip toe like that. I can’t see. Please, will you bend your head a bit?” Then the boulder in front replied, “Oh, I’m sorry, but you know the rock in front of me is also taller than me so I can’t help it either.” While passing by, I could hear all of them talking like this. Now Sorak Mountain was in an uproar because the Crown Prince was passing them. They were cheering and it was getting noisier by the minute. Receiving their welcome, I finally arrived at the Five-colored Mineral Spring.
I was taking a drink from the spring when a small squirrel maiden who was very quick-witted, ran over to a rock stage and began singing at the top of her lungs. She wanted to make me happy. But though the song was over, this squirrel maiden wouldn’t leave the stage. Have you ever heard a squirrel singing? I have, and I told General Manager Jang to listen to the squirrel singing. The song of a squirrel is louder than the song of a sparrow. So her singing had stopped but she wouldn’t go down. Why? Because I was leaving, she was on top of the rock looking at me, watching me leave with her hand to her forehead, wiping her tears. That’s why they say love and affection is a type of sickness, so I wrote a poem like this. The title is called, “Sorak Mountain Friends.”

Sorak Mountain Friends

With my brethren, we make our way up the Sorak Mountain this early morning.
My Sorak Mountain friends – in this mundane world, they have been harassed to the point of exhaustion by offensive, detestable humans.
There is no longer the slightest desire to see them or meet them, and so my Sorak Mountain friends hide, throwing a blanket-layer of fog over themselves, sleeping away their grief.
Suddenly, the Crown Prince and his party’s Honorary Debut is at hand, and though their coming is delayed,
The mountain’s joyful shout and responding echo awakens the surprised Sorak Mountain friends,
Who kick away their blanket-layer of fog and awake in a daze.
The news is excitedly spread to one another, waking this mountain here, that mountain there,
“It is the Crown Prince’s Honorary Debut, it is the Crown Prince’s Honorary Debut!”
And each flings off their blanket of fog and jump up waving their hands ecstatically.
For the unusually tall, sleepy-headed rock friends,
In order to see the Crown Prince’s face just once,
They stretch their long necks to take a peep,
But still they cannot see so they tell the rocks in front of them,
“Excuse me, because of your head, I cannot see very well, please do not raise your head so much.”
“Do not tiptoe and lower your heads a bit please.”
Then the rock standing in front says,
“I’m sorry. The rock-gentlemen in front is taller than me so I cannot see very well either.”
The ovation and cheers of the Sorak Mountain friends become louder by the moment,
With warm greetings poured only upon the Crown Prince, he and his party make their way down.
On the way, they stop by the Five-colored Mineral Spring and have a drink.
And the sight of the water friends traveling to their hometown, waving their hands joyfully as they pass
Refreshes and exhilarates the Crown Prince and his party who, with contented hearts, settle on the rocks for a rest.
Then a keen, witty squirrel-maiden nimbly jumps upon a rock stage,
And at the top of her voice she sings a greeting song.
Now the song is over, but why does she not get off the stage?
As she watches us leave,
She remains standing on the rock stage.
As we part with one another in reluctance,
This pretty little squirrel-maiden, having lost her soul completely, puts a hand on her forehead and stares longingly.
She watches us to the end as she wipes away her tears with both her hands, this pretty squirrel-maiden…
And she is unable to forget our affectionate farewells.
That is why they say love and affection is a sickness.
Eventually, the Crown Prince and his party are buried by the East Ocean multitude,
Who come in waves to greet them to their midst.

When I arrived at the East Sea, it was so happy to meet me that it was falling and stumbling over itself to come and greet me. “Oh, welcome! I’ve waited for you for so long,” and it was running over itself to meet me. Do you know why this ocean was so happy to see me? Let me tell you why. There is no other friend in this whole world that has gone through such misery as this ocean. Why? If people want to fight, why don’t they fight in their room and commit suicide in their room? But they come and fight in the ocean and commit suicide by jumping into the ocean. So this ocean says, “Why is it that they come to me and commit suicide?” Pirates and navies fight with one another and kill each other and die. The ocean has seen many naval battles and a countless number of soldiers shedding blood and dying, so the ocean was so upset.
Nowadays, America and Russia have nuclear tests at the ocean, killing all the fish and other living things. That’s why the ocean was so upset. There is no one more upset in this world than the ocean, and there is no one who understands the heart of this ocean. People only want to catch fish and make money out of the ocean. They want to fight in it, not caring about it at all. No one knows the heart of this ocean and no one is willing to comfort it and make it feel better. But since this heavenly Prince, the Master, comes, this ocean says, “Oh my Master is coming, my Master understands me!” That’s why it came to me, surging and rolling over itself to greet me.
If you only knew the deep heart of our Real Father’s love and understood the heart of nature, they would all welcome you like this as well. That’s why wherever I go, Elijah is never lonely. Elijah is not alone. All of nature, all of creation is Elijah’s friend. Elijah is the Master of all. So I wrote a poem to the East Sea that was stumbling and running over to me in greeting.

The East Sea
Sea,
Sea,
East Sea who has come out to welcome me.

Why are you so delighted to see me
That you wave your hands and fall down like that stumbling towards me?
For thousands of years you went through sad things, distressing things, grudge-filled things.
Who else is there under the heavens
That has endured as much as you have?

Yet you forgave and forgot
All these things, all those things,
And just passed over them by smiling and dancing in a lively way.
Since you smile wordlessly even though you have endured so many sad things,
You are my friend.

But the God of heaven knows your heart,
And commending you, will give you a prize,
And take you to that heavenly Sea of Glass.
Let’s you and I become eternal friends at that heavenly Sea of Glass,
And forever uplift and praise,
The God of comfort, the God of love.

That’s why God has that beautiful ocean ascend to heaven. No matter if those people in the world upset you, tear at your heart, I hope you’ll forgive them all and let it go smiling. When you do, you will become those that ascend to heaven like the ocean.
There would be no end to my talking about this first Bible, but since we have no more time, I will stop for this hour. Except for all the dirty lies and filthy misunderstandings surrounding this Park Myung Ho, I hope you will be like me and enjoy this happiness.
