lease open chapter 22 of The Key to Happiness. Just as I promised
you yesterday, I will explain to you more clearly concerning the
Sabbath for our Protestant brethren. “Our Real Father Who Has Given Us an
Everlasting Sign,” page 184, please read.
[Remember the Sabbath
day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the
seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you,
nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female
servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in
six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in
them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day
and hallowed it.] (Exo 20:8-11)
This Sabbath is the
foundation day of the universe. All the gods of this world can imitate nine of
the Ten Commandments. “Do not serve other gods except Me.” “Do not commit
adultery.” “Do not murder.” “Do not steal.” Any god can do and say all these
things. Confucius, Sakyamuni (Buddha), Mohammed, even we can do and say all
these things.
However, “I
am Jehovah God who created the heavens, the earth, and the seas, so you must
keep this Sabbath day holy,” is the unique command that only the God who
created heaven and earth can proclaim. After God created heaven, earth, and all
of creation, this Sabbath Day was the birthday of the creation of heaven and
earth, the memorial day of universal creation, verily the Universal Foundation
Day. All countries of this world each have their own National Foundation Day.
This National Foundation Day is on an important day that cannot be abolished,
changed, or transferred to another day for as long as that country stands and
is not ruined or disappears. The National Foundation Day of Korea is October 3.
As long as the country of Korea is in existence, that National Foundation Day
cannot be changed to October 2 or October 4. Likewise, [the seventh day …
Sabbath] (Exo 20:10) is the Universal Foundation Day, so as long as the
universe does not disappear, that day cannot be abolished or changed to another
day, for it is the Universal Foundation Day appointed by the Creator God.
[Thus the heavens and
the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God
ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His
work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it,
because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.] (Gen
2:1-3)
So after
finishing His work of creation, He chose that day as the Foundation Day. He established
that day as the day of blessings. Just like in autumn, after finishing all the
farm work throughout the year, after working so hard all spring and summer, the
parents will gather all the children together and say, “Let’s have a celebration.”
So as we learned yesterday, the Sabbath is what? It is the day of blessings. We
receive ten thousand different kinds of blessings on that day. Though man fell
and lost everything, our Daddy always found for us the Sabbath, because once
the Sabbath disappears, it would mean the end of humanity. So it is through
this Sabbath that we can enter into eternal rest.
The Sacred Identification Card of Heavenly
People
The
Sabbath is the sacred identification card of heavenly people. Let’s read Exodus
31:12, [The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak also to the children of Israel,
saying: ‘Surely My Sabbath you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you
throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who
sanctifies you.’”] So the sign between God and His children is what? It is the Sabbath.
Let’s
read Ezekiel 20:20, [Hallow My Sabbaths.] Whose Sabbath? The Sabbath of the
Jews? The Sabbath of the SDA Church? No. This is the Sabbath of our Father. It
belongs to God and no man or angel can touch it. It was established by God. One-seventh
of our time and one-tenth of our money belong to God. [Hallow My Sabbaths],
it’s a holy Sabbath. Not the Sabbath defiled by the Israelites or the Sabbath
defiled by any denomination, it says, [Hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a
sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.]
[Moreover
I also gave them My Sabbath, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might
know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.] (Eze 20:12) It’s quite clear that
the Sabbath is a sign throughout the generations as a perpetual covenant.
As
you know, the people of Korea are a unitary race. Truly it is a pure race. But
countries like Russia or America have so many races. There are so many mixed
races that you couldn’t tell who was your countrymen, unless you saw their
identity card. If you looked at their citizenship card, you would know
immediately if a person was American or not. When there are many nationalities
of people, then you can tell who is from where through their citizenship card.
Likewise, though this world is filled with people, when God looks for His
people, He looks for their citizenship, and the proof of their citizenship is
the Sabbath. I hope that you will not lose this eternal sign. No matter if we are
mixed with the people of the world, people who keep the Sabbath are distinctly different.
The Day that God, Jesus, and Angels Keep
God Himself Keeps It
[And on the seventh
day God ended His work … and He rested on the seventh day … in it He rested
from all His work which God had created and made.] (Gen 2:2-3) Did God keep the
Sabbath or not?
[For in six days the
Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was
refreshed.] (Exo 31:17) Yes, God kept that day. He calls it [My Sabbaths] (Lev
19:30), [My Sabbaths], the [holy Sabbath to the Lord] (Exo 16:23), [My holy
day] (Isa 58:13), everything He said was, “My Sabbath, My day.”
Jesus Keeps It
Jesus also keeps the
Sabbath. [This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.] (1Joh
5:3) The Sabbath is not a burdensome day; it’s a day to free us, sanctify us,
and regenerate us. Though we were trapped in darkness, the Sabbath gives us the
light and leads us to fly throughout its brightness. It gives power to the
powerless, heals and liberates all those who are sick, and it is a Sabbath not
burdensome but a Sabbath of freedom, liberty, and joy.
But the Sabbath of the
Jews was a Sabbath that bound people up so tightly; a confining Sabbath. And
the Sabbath of the Adventists is a cursed Sabbath, a Sabbath of death. But as
for you, I hope that this Sabbath will be a day of blessings and a day of
freedom and liberty.
Let’s see how Jesus
kept the Sabbath. Nowadays, many people say that Jesus came to abolish the
Sabbath. But Jesus already knew that people would say that and He had an answer
for it.
Matthew 5:17, [Do not
think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy
but to fulfill]. He was saying, “Do you think I came to destroy the Ten
Commandments? I did not come to destroy it (to destroy the Sabbath), but to
fulfill the Sabbath and to give to you the true Sabbath.” So we should not keep
the Sabbath of the Jews or the Sabbath of the Seventh-day Adventists, we must
keep the Sabbath that our heavenly Father and Jesus kept.
In His life on Earth, Jesus
kept the Sabbath day holy [as His custom was (in) the synagogue.] (Luke 4:16)
So Jesus would enter the synagogue to do what? To keep the Sabbath day as His
custom was, as was His habit. Now do you know that Jesus kept the Sabbath? So our
Father kept it, Jesus kept it, and also the disciples kept it.
Then if Jesus had
truly abolished the Sabbath by His death on the cross and by the shedding of
His blood, should His disciples have kept the Sabbath after He died or not?
They shouldn’t have to. But Jesus’ disciples kept the Sabbath most strictly just
as they did when He was alive.
The Disciples Kept It
[That day was the
Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near. And the women who had come with Him
from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was
laid. Then they returned, and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they
rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.] (Luke 24:54-56)
Jesus died on Friday,
the preparation day of the Sabbath. The disciples had come to prepare His body
with spices and oils for the burial. Doing that wasn’t even work, but because
they considered it work, they did not do it since it was near the hour of the
Sabbath. They worshipped on the Sabbath and returned on Sunday, at first light
of the first day, but Jesus had already resurrected. We can learn here how much
Jesus taught them to keep the Sabbath holy. Right now, this whole world has
become so corrupt to the teachings of Satan; that’s why they have lost all the
blessings of heaven. I hope that you will discover the channel of all blessings
this hour.
[Now on the first day
of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with
them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared…. But they
did not find the body.] (Luke 24:1-3)
[Now when
the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome,
bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. Very early in the
morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had
risen. And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the
door of the tomb for us?”] (Mark 16:1-3) We can see how much Jesus had requested
them to keep the Sabbath holy that they would not even put the oil and anoint
the dead body of Jesus.
[Imitate
me, just as I also imitate Christ] (1Cor 11:1), said the Apostle Paul who also
kept the Sabbath [as his custom was] (Act 17:2), as Jesus kept it [as his
custom was.] (Act 17:2) So do you believe that God kept it, Jesus kept it, and
the disciples kept it? Then this is a request given to the disciples in the
last days.
The Disciples in the Last Days Keep It
Jesus [the
Lord of the Sabbath] (Mat 12:8) who had established the Sabbath in the
beginning with His Father, commands us, His last disciples, to keep His holy Sabbath
to the end of the world. [Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the
Sabbath.] (Mat 24:20) [For then there will be great tribulation, such as has
not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall
be.] (Mat 24:21) [Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of
life.] (Rev 2:10)
Thus, God
kept it, Jesus kept it, Jesus’ disciples kept it, Apostle Paul kept it. And we
as the last disciples are also to keep it. Jesus says to us who are living in
the time of Jacob’s trouble, that it is better for us not to run away no matter
what the tribulation, to rather die than defile the Sabbath; to rather die keeping
it holy. Does this mean Jesus abolished the Sabbath or not? The Sabbath is
still very much alive. But Satan has been spreading a lie through the false
religions of the world that the Sabbath has been abolished. He deceived
everybody bent on killing us all. But now we know that our heavenly Father kept
it, Jesus kept it, the disciples kept it, and the last disciples to ascend to
heaven must also keep it.
[Thus says
the Lord: “Take heed for the sake of your lives … hallow the Sabbath day, as I
commanded your fathers.”] (Jer 17:21-22) Who is this speaking to? This is being
spoken to us here. [Thus says the Lord: “Take heed for the sake of your lives …
hallow the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.”] Will you do this?
[If
you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy
day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord honorable, and
shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, not finding your own pleasure, not
speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; and I
will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth (heaven), and feed you
with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.] (Isa
58:13-14) Does this seem like the condition to go to heaven? Yes it is.
“[If
you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure] – be careful
how you speak and how you act – then not only will you live on this earth in
happiness, joy, and peace, but [I will cause you to ride on the high hills of
the earth (heaven), and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father]. Is
this not a condition to go to heaven? Truly this Sabbath is so precious. What a
precious Sabbath it is. Just thinking about it makes me so happy, for it is the
only way to go to heaven.
[Thus
says the Lord: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation is about
to come, and My righteousness to be revealed.
Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on
it; who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil
… then I will bring them to My holy mountain (heaven), and make them joyful in
My house of prayer.”] (Isa 56:1-2, 7) Amen.
To
those who keep the Sabbath holy He says, “Blessed is the man who does this, and
the son of man who lays hold on it; now bring them to My holy mountain
(heaven), and make them joyful.” Is the Sabbath truly the condition to
ascension?
[Do
not let the son of the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord speak, saying,
“The Lord has utterly separated me from His people,” nor let the eunuch say, “Here
I am, a dry tree.” For thus says the Lord, “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbath,
and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant, even to them I will give
in My house (heaven) and within My walls (New Jerusalem) a place and a name
better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name
that shall not be cut off.”] (Isa 56:3-5)
It
means that whether they are handicapped people or gentiles, whoever keeps the
Sabbath holy will be taken to the paradise of heaven. But even if they are the chosen
people of Moses, or the chosen people of Solomon, or the last chosen people,
all those that defile the Sabbath will be utterly discarded. Only those that
keep the Sabbath holy, regardless of whether they are disabled or gentiles,
will all be taken to heaven without question.
Then
what will we do when we get to heaven? In [“the new heavens and the new earth,
which I will make … from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to
worship before Me,” says the Lord.] (Isa 66:22-23) So when we go to heaven,
what will we do? We’ll also keep the Sabbath, at this time in front of our
Father directly. Will you accept these Bible verses as fact?
Now
since the beginning, God kept the Sabbath, Jesus kept it, the disciples kept
it, and the last disciples of ascension who live during the time of Jacob’s
trouble will also keep it. And when we go to heaven, we will keep the Sabbath there
for eternity. Can you still say the Sabbath was abolished? I hope that you will
not be deceived by the false theology of Satan, they are complete and utter lies.
And there is no proof in the Bible that the Sabbath was ever abolished.
Let’s
read Hebrews 4:1, [Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let
us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.] You must be careful not
to become like the Israelites or the Seventh-day Adventists and fall into the
pit of disobedience. Like Caleb, Joshua, Moses, and Jesus, let us keep the
Sabbath holy and ascend to heaven.
[For he who has
entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall after the
same example of disobedience.] (Heb 4:10-11) To those who enter the Sabbath of
the Father, just as the Father rested, they also must rest. But how is the world
today? On the day that God rests, they work. And then on the day that God
works, they rest. They are never able to meet each other. There’s a saying in
Korean that roughly means, “Even if you are living off of someone’s generosity,
you cannot remain together if you are not like-minded.” If you are not
like-minded, you can never live together. Since you are so unmatched here, how
can you ever live together in heaven?
Do you truly
believe without a doubt that Jesus did not abolish the Sabbath, but that this
Sabbath is an eternal channel of blessings for us? Yes. But some may say, “The
Bible distinctly mentions that Jesus did abolish the Sabbath with His body on
the cross.” Of that much I am also aware. Let’s read the bottom of page 190.
Colossians 2:16,
[Therefore, let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival
or a new moon or Sabbaths]. People say, “Let’s not argue the rights and wrongs
about the Sabbath. Let’s not talk about that anymore. All we need to do is just
have faith.”
[The law and the
prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached,
and everyone is pressing into it.] (Luke 16:16) “The law and the
prophets were until John the Baptist. After that, we just have to believe in
the Gospel. Why do we have to talk about the Sabbaths of the Jews, it is just a
headache.”
He [abolished in
His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of the commandments contained in
ordinances.] (Eph 2:15) “See, doesn’t it
say Jesus abolished the laws, the commandments with His flesh? Why are you so
ignorant of the Bible?”
[Christ is the
end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.] (Rom 10:4) “See,
Christ is the end of the law.” And everyone says, “Amen, amen. Of course, our
pastor is the best.” And they are sitting there like that.
[For on the one
hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness
and unprofitableness, for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand,
there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.] (Heb
7:18-19) “See, the law made nothing
perfect so they were abolished. With a better hope, all we need to do is just believe
in Jesus.”
[One person
esteems one day above another, another esteems everyday alike. Let each be
fully convinced in his own mind.] (Rom 14:5) “Whether we worship on Saturday or
Sunday, it does not matter as long as we put all of our hearts in it. If we
keep the Sabbath on Saturdays, how will our students go to school, how will we keep
our jobs? Just believe in moderation.” Then everyone says, “Oh, our pastor is
the best.” Everything seems so correct and true. But let me explain this
clearly to you.
During this
hour, whether you are a pastor, priest, or believer, I hope that you will realize
the Sabbath is the eternal cable car in which you receive God’s eternal life.
So I will find for you this holy cable car of the Sabbath. Now once you find
it, whether you are Seventh-day Adventist pastors or Protestant pastors or
Catholic priests or believers of some faith, do not go back to your churches
and say, “Oh, you know, Sunday is the day of the demon. Now I know what the
true Sabbath is.” Do not say that, because the Sabbath is the day where the God
of love comes. We must be able to lead the weak souls with love. Don’t go back
and say right away that everyone is deceived. You must lead others to the truth
with love, like Apostle Paul, to those who do not have the law without the law,
to those who have the law with the law, to the weak gently, to the strong
firmly, according to each person’s circumstances. May you lead the flock in
that way, wisely. Do not argue over doctrines but just love them. Do you
understand? That is the character of the people who have found the true
Sabbath. And later, they will say, “Pastor, I want to know about the Sabbath
that you keep.”
If they still really
want to know the truth, then you will explain to them in the following way.
How? There appear not one but six kinds of Sabbaths in the Bible. No less than six
different kinds of Sabbaths. One, two, three, four, five. Five of them had
continued until the time of John the Baptist, but only one Sabbath remains, and
that Sabbath is the Sabbath spoken of in the Gospel. Please explain to them
like this. These five Sabbaths were abolished by Jesus’ blood and death on the
cross. And only one Sabbath remains in the Gospel. Then, let’s learn about the
five Sabbaths that were abolished. Let’s see page 192 on the bottom.
1. The Passover
Sabbath (Lev 23:5, 7-8) … January 15 and January 21 of the Jewish calendar. It
existed only until the time of John the Baptist; it was abolished through Jesus’
body.
2. The Pentecost
Sabbath (Lev 23:15-16, 21) … One day after the seventh Sabbath (50th
day) from January 16th (day after the Passover Sabbath)
3. Feast of Trumpets
Sabbath (Lev 23:24-25) … July 1 of the Jewish calendar
4. Atonement Day
Sabbath (Lev 23:27, 32) … July 10 of the Jewish calendar
5. Feast of
Tabernacles Sabbath (Lev 23:34-36) … July 15 and July 22 of the Jewish calendar
The Passover
Sabbath, Pentecost Sabbath, Feast of trumpets, Atonement Day Sabbath Feast of
Tabernacles; On these Sabbaths, the Jews did not work as they sacrificed a lamb
and longed for Jesus, observing these days by keeping them holy. Then who does
the lamb represent? Jesus. Then since Jesus actually came and actually died on
the cross, is there any need to keep those other Sabbaths? Do they need to
sacrifice a lamb anymore? There is no need. Jesus abolished these Sabbaths by
His own death. Nowadays, do you sacrifice lambs or not? No. Jesus abolished it.
So all we have to do is remember the Foundation Day of the universe, the
Memorial Day of universal foundation, for this is the day that our Father
keeps, Jesus keeps, the angels keep, the last disciples must keep, and when we
ascend to heaven, we will continue keeping it even in the new paradise of
heaven.
This is the
Gospel Sabbath that we must keep. People must know this. But not even knowing
this, those Protestant theologians are stumbling in the darkness having
confused all these Sabbaths together. Now do you know the facts for certain? If
this Gospel Sabbath is abolished, that would mean the end of all humanity. It
would be the end of everything. The whole universe would perish. The entire
universe exists due to the constant blessings of our Father. So what would
happen if His blessings were ceased? That’s why these five different Sabbaths were
observed most strictly since the time of Moses until the time of Jesus. But
once the literal Jesus came and passed away on the cross, the symbolic acts
were completely abolished.
Billions of
people today observe Sunday as the Sabbath and there are only a few who are
keeping the Sabbath on Saturday. Even then, the Sabbath kept by the few SDA is
false. So where and when did the source of conflict between Saturday and Sunday
begin? Let us study the custom of Saturday and Sunday to see which, is the true
and which is the false. There’s nothing that our Father is unaware of
concerning what will happen on this earth. He knew that Satan would appear and
teach the false Sabbath in order to destroy all the children of this earth. He
prophesied early on:
2 Thessalonians
2:3-4, [For that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the
man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself
above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in
the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.] In the last days, our Real
Daddy already knew that Satan would appear with the false teachings of the
Sabbath and kill people, and so He prophesied thousands of years ago, “that Day
will not come unless the falling away comes first.” There will appear “the man
of sin” who will betray God’s truth. He is the lawless being who will trample
on God’s law, “the son of perdition,” (the son of death and destruction) “who
opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped,
so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
He exalts himself in God’s holy place, boldly seated in His holy temple, proclaiming
himself to be God. Who is this? He is the pope. The pope says, “I have all the
authority of heaven and earth. Thus, I can forgive the sins of people. Therefore
confess your sins to the Catholic priests and nuns.” Can a man forgive sins? If
prisoners in jail say to one another, “I tell you that you are free,” then can
that take place? It’s nonsense. They are all mere humans.
And so already
thousands of years ago, God knew that the pope would come out and say that “I
am God,” that he would trample upon the law and be “the man of sin, the man of
perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that
is worshiped.”
Let’s see Daniel
7:55, [He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the
saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law.] [And the
entire world marveled and followed (him).] (Rev 13:3) So, “this son of
perdition appears, and He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall
persecute the saints of the Most High.” The Roman Catholic Church killed so
many Christians. They can’t even count because there are so many; they calculate
that up to a hundred million were killed. [He shall speak pompous words against
the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to
change times and law.] But strangely enough, [all the world marveled and
followed (him).]
Right now, doesn’t
the whole world follow the pope? They all follow the pope wherever he goes. When
he came to Korea, 2 million people came out to see him saying that their
shepherd had come. Whether they belonged to the Catholic Church or not, they
all came out. The entire world marvels and follows him who dared to change the
times and the law of God. If you believe that the law of Korea is wrong, can
you change it if you want to? Then who is the pope that he can change the law
of the universe? If he is not the one who is defying God, then who is? Let’s hear
the testimonies of scholars.
Testimonies of Candid Witnesses
The British
Encyclopedia (The article for Sunday):
“The first Sunday
law was decreed by the half-pagan, half-Christian Roman emperor Constantine 1
in 321 A.D.” So the first Sunday law was decreed by Jesus? No. By the
half-pagan, half-Christian Roman emperor Constantine 1 in 321 A.D.
History of the
Christian Church, vol. 3, 5th ed., p.380, note 1:
“On the venerable
Day of the Sun” – so Sunday was a venerable day of worshipping the sun. “…let
the magistrates and people residing in the cities rest, and let all workshops
be closed. On the contrary, however, people engaged in agriculture may freely
and lawfully continue their pursuits.” In the beginning, they didn’t force
people to keep Sunday as the Sabbath until later, it was a smooth transition.
In the beginning, it was merely the day of the sun, a day of worshipping the
sun and called “Sunday.”
North British
Review (secular):
“That very day
was the Sunday of their heathen neighbors and respective countrymen; and
patriotism gladly united with expediency in making it at once their Lord’s Day
and their Sabbath.” (February 1853, vol. 18, p. 409) So it was not God’s
command but a smooth transition made in the name of patriotism. All these
testimonies of candid witnesses are not people who kept Sabbath on Saturday but
they were all Protestant theology professors who observed Sunday as the
Sabbath.
Christian at
Work (Evangelical):
“So some have tried to build the observance of
Sunday upon apostolic command. Whereas the apostles gave no command on the
matter at all.” (Editorial, April 19, 1883. Pg 3) So, the apostles never said
to observe Sunday. They didn’t even know about Sunday.
Christian
Union (Congregational):
“When, why, and
by whom was the day of rest change from the seventh to the first day of the
week? Not by any positive authority but by gradual process.” (Inquiring Friends,
June 1, 1879, p.530)
Neander (church
historian):
“The festival
Sunday like all other festivals was always only a human ordinance.” The Sunday
was a divine ordinance? It was a human ordinance. “…and it was far from the
intentions of the apostles to establish a divine command in this respect, far
from them….” So the early church of Jesus never established this day; they didn’t
even know about it.
William Prynn,
noted Puritan historian (1665):
“The seventh-day
Sabbath was … solemnized by Christ, the apostles, and primitive Christians,
after the resurrection till this Laodicean Council did in a manner quite
abolish the observation of it.” So the seventh-day Sabbath was solemnized by
Christ, the apostles, and primitive Christians, but afterwards, through the
Laodicean Council it was changed. “The council of Laodicea, about the year of
Christ 360 … first settled the observation of the Lord’s Day, and prohibited …
the keeping of the Jewish Sabbath under an anathema.”
R.W. Dale,
M.A., (Congregationalist of England) wrote:
“It is quite
clear that, however rigidly or devoutly we may spend Sunday, we are not keeping
the Sabbath….” So no matter how holy you keep the Sunday, it’s not the Sabbath.
“The Sabbath was founded on a specific, divine command.” The Sabbath is what?
It is a specific divine command. “We can plead no such command for the
obligation to observe Sunday….” God never commanded to keep the Sunday. “There
is not a single sentence in the New Testament to suggest that we incur any
penalty by violating the supposed sanctity of Sunday.” A countless number of
times, the Bible mentions those who would perish for defiling the Sabbath, but
there is not a single verse that even suggests defiling Sunday would bring
about ruin or the withdrawal of blessings.
Dr. E.T.
Hiscox, Baptist, Author of “The Baptist Manual”:
“There was and is
a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not
Sunday. It will be said, however, with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath
was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week…. Where can the record
of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament – absolutely not….” So
if you look in the Bible, there is not a single record that the Sabbath was
changed and that we must observe Sunday. “Of course, I quite well know that
Sunday did come into use in early Christian history as a religious day, as we
learned from our Christian fathers and other sources. But what a pity that it
comes branded with the mark of paganism, and christened with the name of the
sun-god, then adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy, and bequeathed as a
sacred legacy to Protestantism!”
So where does
Sunday come from? It came from a mark of paganism and from the people of
apostasy. So he’s saying, “What a pity that the Protestants received this.” There
are people who left the Catholic Church saying it was corrupt, and with their
lives on the line they departed in order to live according to the Word. But
though they went to the Protestant Church, they still followed the doctrines
made by the Catholics. So the author is saying, “What a pity it is!” Do you
know what the Catholic Church calls the Protestant Church? “They are our
daughters.” Why? Though they left saying the Catholic Church was wrong, they
are ultimately their followers by observing the false day established by the
Catholic Church. Should you be a follower of the pope or Jesus? You should be the
follower of our Captain Immanuel, Jesus!
John Frith
(1572):
“We are in manner
as superstitious in the Sunday as in (the Jews) were in the Saturday.” So
Sunday is a superstitious day, a day of a superstitious deity they don’t even
know about. “…yea, and we are much madder. For the Jews have the word of God
for their Saturday, (since)… they were commanded to keep the seventh day
solemn. And we have not the word of God for us, but rather against us….” So the
Jews keeping the Sabbath is at least written in the Bible. But there’s nothing
written about Sunday in the Bible. So it says, “We have not the word of God for
us, but rather against us.” Yes. These scholars are really telling the truth. “We
have not the word of God for us, but rather against us; for we keep not the
seventh day, as the Jews do, but the first, which is not commanded by God’s
law.” So they are not keeping what they are supposed to and they are keeping
what they are not supposed to. That’s why they cannot live with God.
The Baptist
Teacher:
“The law long
antedates the age of Moses.” The law was given even before Moses. Before Moses,
there was already the law, they kept the Sabbath. That’s why Moses was told to remember the Sabbath day to keep it
holy. So from the beginning of the universe, there was always the law, and as
long as the universe exists, this Sabbath is eternal. Moses was told to
remember the Sabbath day and not forget it. So how can the Sabbath be
considered the Sabbath of the Jews? How can you say the Sabbath belongs to the
Seventh-day Adventists? This is our Father’s eternal Sabbath. “It is as old as
the race…. There is evidence of Sabbath observance from the very first, and the
Lord from Sinai enjoins that that be ‘remembered’ which was already in
existence…. As it was from the beginning, so it will be to the end…. Even the
law of the Sabbath is as binding now as ever. Every recurring seventh day is,
in a peculiar sense to be hallowed.” (July, 1895. p. 317) So not only today,
but for eternity, the Sabbath has the power to sanctify and to change. I hope
that you will receive that power as well.
Richard Watson
(Methodist):
There’s not on record
any divine command, issued to the apostles, to change the Sabbath from the day
on which it was held by the Jews, to the first day of the week.” So there’s no evidence
of this.
Dr. Lymann
Abbott (Congregationalist):
“The current
notion on record that Christ and His apostles authoritatively substituted the
first day of the week for the seventh is absolutely without any authority in
the New Testament.” (June 26, 1890) There’s no proof or evidence in the Old or
New Testament that the Sabbath was changed from Saturday to Sunday.
But some
Protestant pastors say, “Oh, yes, there is. In Revelations chapter 1…. It says
that Jesus appeared to Apostle John on the [Lord’s Day.] This [Lord’s Day] as written
in Revelations is speaking of the day of the Lord. But the day those Protestant
theologians are keeping is not the “Lord’s Day,” it is a “week” day, as in one
week, two weeks, three weeks, four weeks; they are observing a day of the week,
not the day of the Lord. Do you understand? You must listen carefully this
hour. What is the day of the Lord? Jesus said, “I am the Lord of the Sabbath.”
So Jesus came to Apostle John on His day, on the Sabbath day.
Then the
Protestant pastors say, “Because of the Flood in the time of Noah, everything
was overturned. Who knows whether the Sabbath is Sunday or Tuesday.” When Moses
guided the people from Egypt to the Promised Land, was that before the Flood or
after the Flood? That was after the Flood. And while the Israelites were in the
wilderness for 40 years, they continued to strictly observe the Sabbath. So, no
matter what happen throughout history, our Father knew that if this Sabbath was
taken away from His children, they would die. That’s why our Father always gave
His children the Sabbath. And Noah kept the Sabbath even in the ark. So never
be deceived by them.
It’s the reason
why even today, the national day of rest in Israel is Saturday. Why? That’s
what they have learned since the time of Moses. Right now, the whole world has
made this Sunday a common day of rest – Satan’s plan to prevent all of God’s
children from keeping the true Sabbath. We must keep the true Sabbath in order
to go to heaven. Please do not be deceived. Do not be worried because the
Sabbath is absolutely without a doubt on Saturday.
These days, some
people say, “Oh, the Sabbath is from sundown to sundown, from morning to
morning, from midnight to midnight.” Please do not be deceived by those false
teachers. Then some here may think, “We’ll keep the Sabbath from dawn to dawn, from
Saturday dawn to Sunday dawn.” But can you receive blessings then? You cannot.
But here, we keep the Sabbath according to the Bible. If you look in Genesis it
says, [It became evening and it was the first day. It was evening then the
second day.] From sundown to sundown is the correct period of the Sabbath. Do
you receive the five grand blessings or not? Since you receive the blessings
here, it must be the true Sabbath. Do not worry and keep the Sabbath on
Saturday.
Then the
Protestant theologians make up a theory that seems acceptable and viable. They
agree that the Sabbath is on Saturday. But
“if we’re going to observe a day, why, not the day Jesus resurrected! Why
should it be the day He died? We’d rather observe the day He resurrected.”
(Teacher draws a rock on the chalkboard) This here is a worthless
rock. However, imbedded in the rock is a lump of gold. Just because there is
gold in that rock, does it make the rock worth anything? Just because there is
gold in the rock, does it make the rock precious as well? Sunday is the day that
Jesus resurrected and it’s a very festive day that we should remember. But just
because Jesus resurrected on that day, and it is something we should celebrate,
does it say anywhere in the Bible that the day should be observed? The
resurrection is important in itself, not the day of resurrection. Do you
understand? However, with the Sabbath, the day is important, the time is
important. Why? It is on that day that our Real Father comes – that’s why the
time is important. Please do not be deceived by those false teachings, but keep
the Sabbath holy. Right now, all of Satan’s channels are destroying the whole
world with their deceptions. All those zealous pastors and evangelists are
being deceived by this fallacy and being killed. Let’s continue and read what
those in the Catholic Church have to say.
Mgr. Segur (Roman Catholic):
“It was the Catholic Church
which, by the authority of Jesus Christ, has transferred this rest to Sunday,
in remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord.” So, he’s telling the truth.
Who made Sabbath into Sunday? It was the Catholic Church. As I’ve mentioned
earlier, even in this small country of Korea, no one, no individual can change
the law of Korea. Then who, what pope can dare change the law of the universe?
“Thus the observance of Sunday of the Protestants is an homage they pay, in
spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) Church.” The Catholics
are ridiculing them, saying, “Those Protestants may have left us, but in
reality they’re paying homage to us. Regardless of their protestations, they
are bowing before the authority of the Catholic Church.”
Cardinal Gibbins (Roman
Catholic):
“You may read the Bible
from Genesis to Revelations, and you will not find a single line authorizing
the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance
of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify.”
So if you look through the
Bible from Genesis to Revelations, is there a single line that says to keep the
Sunday Sabbath? They admit that there is not one. “The Scriptures enforce the
religious observance of Saturday, but that is a day which we as the Catholic
Church will never sanctify, we will never keep it, we would rather fight
against God face to face.” Is it as prophesied in the Bible 2,000 years ago?
One who would defy the Most High has appeared.
Catholic Mirror:
“The Catholic Church, with
its unmistakable authority, has prescribed Sunday, for the observance of
Sabbath instead of the ancient Biblical Sabbath day.” (Oct 22, 1893)
Eusebius, a famous
bishop and flatterer of Constantine:
“All things whatever that
it was duty to do on the Sabbath, these we have transferred to the Lord’s Day
(Sunday).” Now do you see clearly? They are confessing that they did it.
Pope Leo Xlll:
“We have the position and
the prerogatives of the Almighty God on Earth.”
“The pope is of so great
dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as if were God, and the
vicar of God.”
How ridiculous they are!
Let’s read that again. “The pope is of so great dignity and so exalted that he
is not a mere man, but as if were God, and the vicar of God.” All of a sudden,
he became God! These people are unbelievable…. They say very smoothly, “The
pope is of great dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as if
were God, and the vicar of God.” Did he all of sudden sit on the throne of God?
Yes. That’s why he sits in the sanctuary and says, “I am God.” That son of
lawlessness, that son of perdition appeared and changed God’s law – has it been
fulfilled as written in the Bible?
You must fight against that
son of perdition. I know that they control this whole world, but they are now
in our grasp. We are those that stand by the side of our almighty God to fight
them; all they have is the power of their physical arm. We must boldly denounce
this lawlessness. Please continue reading.
“Hence the pope is crowned
with the triple crown, as king of heaven and earth and of the lower regions.” “He
is likewise the divine monarch and supreme emperor and king of kings.” “Moreover
the superiority and power of the Roman Pontiff by no means pertain only to
heavenly things, to earthly things, and to things under the earth, but are even
over angels, than whom he is greater.”
How
ridiculous this is. This pope is “crowned with a triple crown as king of
heaven, and of earth, and of the lower regions. He’s the one and only king. He
is likewise the divine monarch and supreme emperor.” Was Jesus our emperor or
not? Even Jesus wasn’t our emperor, so who is he to be supreme emperor over us?
“Moreover the superiority and power of the Roman Pontiff by no means pertain
only to heavenly things, to earthly things, and to things under the earth....” It’s
saying the pope moves the stars and rules over all the countries of the earth.
That’s why all the kings used to receive their crown from the pope. You know, it
makes me laugh even in my sleep. How ridiculous it is!
Then let Me draw this
friend of ours, this ridiculous friend. The crown that he wears is a triple
crown. Why is it a triple crown? Because he is the king of heaven, earth, and
the lower regions, that’s why it’s a triple crown. But nowadays, people make
fun of him because of that hat, so he does not wear it anymore. Then can this
friend forgive us of all our sins? Is he really the one and only king of kings,
one who moves all the stars in the universe, who is our sole supreme emperor, able
to alter the law of God as he pleases? Is he one who can do all these things?
God already knew that this traitorous
son of perdition would come and that he would change the times and the law. And
he would sit in the sanctuary, in the temple saying, “I am God,” and that
people would worship him. He thinks he’s so smart, but we already know all
about him.
The next page shows God’s
Ten Commandments. The page right next to it shows the Ten Commandments altered
by our friend here. Shall we look at it?
The Ten Commandments Changed by the Roman Catholic Church
1. I am the Lord your God, you shall not have other gods before me.
2. You shall not make wrong
use of the name of the Lord.
What did they get rid of? “Do
not worship any idols.” They got rid of that commandment and set up the statue
of Mary! How could they do that? They should be the ones preventing Buddhists
from bowing down to those stone idols but instead, they are teaching the people
to worship the idol of Mary. Yes, it’s truly ridiculous, isn’t it? It makes me
laugh out loud. If you see in the world news, they say, “Bloody tears fell from
the statue of Mary. How shall we deal with this big problem?” And apparently
people are crying and in such a state. Let me ask you, “Does it say in the
Bible that a big problem will arise if bloody tears fall from the eyes of the
statue Mary?” Not just bloody tears, it would be useless even if urine were to
fall from the eyes of the statue Mary! All those idols must be shattered to
pieces!
3. Keep the Lord’s Day holy.
4. Honor your father and your mother.
What did they get rid of?
They took out the commandment about the Sabbath. Any deity in heaven and earth can
say, “Do not serve other Gods but me, honor your parents, do not murder, do not
commit adultery.” But only the fourth commandment has the words, “Worship
Jehovah God who created all of heaven, earth, the sea, and all that is in them.”
This is something only our Real Father, only the true God can say. Clearly He
says, “I am Jehovah who created heaven, earth, the sea, and all that is in
them.” And among the Ten Commandments, Jehovah is revealed only in the Sabbath
commandment. But Satan knew that if he could only get rid of this commandment,
the whole world would be his, and that’s why he took it out. So the Catholic
Church put these ten laws together, editing them according to their needs and
declared it to be the Ten Commandments. But what is so strange is that all of
God’s sons and daughters throughout the whole world have accepted it and been deceived
by it. The entire world is making a Sunday law to enforce this day of rest. I
hope that you will be like Jesus and with our Real Father’s glory and His
commandments, go out to save this world.
Cardinal Gibbons (Roman
Catholic):
“But you may read the Bible
from Genesis to Revelations and you will not find a single line authorizing the

Saturday (the Sabbath), a day which we never sanctify.” He’s saying, “You may
read the Bible from Genesis to Revelations, ten times, a hundred times, and you
will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. If
anything, the Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday (the
Sabbath), a day which we never sanctify.” This is what a cardinal of the
Catholic Church said.
The Catholic Record:
“The Sabbatical observation
of Sunday is not grounded on the Scriptures but on our traditions; therefore it
is no doubt an institution of the Catholic Church.”
Now do you know whose
tradition it is? Whose institutions it is? We should keep the traditions of
heaven, the institution of heaven, the very Sabbath that God keeps, that Jesus
keeps, His disciples kept, and also the last disciples who will be going through
Jacob’s Trouble must keep, and the Sabbath that we will keep for eternity in
heaven. I hope that you will restore the Sabbath, hold on to the Sabbath, and
ascend keeping the Sabbath holy.
Until now, we heard the words of people. Now
let’s hear the Word of Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath. No matter what, we
should always listen to the words of Jesus.
Matthew 15:3, [Why do you
also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?] “Why? Why do
you also transgress the commandment of God because of your (human) tradition?”
He is scolding us.
[But why do you call Me
“Lord, Lord,” and do not do the things which I say?] (Luk 6:46)
[And in vain they worship
Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.] (Mat 15:9) He is saying, “Why
do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and yet do not listen to Me? Instead, you are
teaching the commandments of men. So you are worshipping me in vain.” Though you
donated your money and devotion and everything you had to your Protestant
Church, did it give you salvation or not? It was all in vain. No matter how you
offered worship at dawn, you only received evil spirits. Have you been able to
offer the true worship now? Yes. I hope that you will truly worship the true God
on the true Sabbath. Your worthwhile life begins today.
[Do you not know that to
whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you
obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to
righteousness?] (Rom 6:16) So, do you not know that whoever you obey, you
become their slave, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
So, whoever you obey you are their slave. Do you want to be a slave of the pope,
or, a slave of Jesus? Yes. You should be a slave of Jesus. You must not become
a slave of that abominable man who is defying our Father. We must remember who
begot us.
[Do not think that I came
to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one
tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.] (Mat 5: 17-18)
It means it’s better for heaven to disappear than for the Sabbath to disappear.
Even the words of a president cannot be altered by journalists. But the Ten
Commandments were written not by Moses but by God Himself, with His hand. Can
people really change that however they want? They are really asking for
trouble. So in Revelations it is shown what will happen to such people. We don’t
have time to get into that now. At any rate, it’s written in the Bible what
will happen to those abominable churches and all the denominations. So during
this time of tribulation, even if we lose our lives, we must observe this holy
Sabbath day.
[For I testify to everyone
who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these
things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if
anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take
away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things
which are written in this book.] (Rev 22:18-19) They took God’s law and they
changed it: they allowed people to worship idols, and they took out the
seventh-day Sabbath. And it says, “Whoever takes it away, I will take them away
from the Book of Life. Whoever adds to the book, I will add the plagues.” I
hope that you will obey His words exactly.
[Not everyone who says to
Me, “Lord, Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will
of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many
wonders in Your name?” And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you;
depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”] (Mat 7:21-23)
Now do you know what will
happen to those who say, “Lord, Lord,” so earnestly? There are two spirits and
if you go to the false god on the false day, you will receive the false spirit;
if you seek the true Holy Spirit on the true holy Sabbath, you will receive the
true Holy Spirit. All the abominable speaking in tongues, power of healing
sicknesses, casting out demons in Jesus’ name – please stop all of that at once.
If you go back to that false day and worship on that day, it will be the end of
you for eternity.
Let me tell you the formula
for receiving the true Holy Spirit. There are three ways to receive the true
latter rain of the Holy Spirit. First, you must keep your bodily temple holy.
You can’t be like those Protestant pastors in the world today that eat pork and
dog meat. You must only eat the clean and pure foods that our Father told us to
eat in the Bible. It’s written, [Do you not know that you are the temple of God
and that the spirit of God dwells in you? Then whoever defiles that temple will
be destroyed.] So the first way to receive the true latter rain of the Holy
Spirit is to keep your bodily temple holy.
Second, you must keep the
Sabbath holy, the very day that God has given to us, in which He personally
comes; you must keep that day holy. Only then can He who comes with the Holy
Spirit give us the true Holy Spirit.
Third, we must accept our
Real Father’s love. Only then can we believe that love and live with Him for
eternity. If you exclude even one of these conditions, then you will never be
able to receive the latter rain of the Holy Spirit. These are the only three
conditions.
Let’s read Proverbs 28:9,
[One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an
abomination.] If there’s anyone who turns away his ear from hearing the law and
obeying it, then even his prayer is what? An abomination. “And depart from Me,
those of you who practice lawlessness!” That’s why our Father gladly receives
only the offerings and prayers of the people who keep the Sabbath holy.
The 850 false prophets long
ago all worshipped on the day of Baal in the name of God. They prayed before
the altar of that Baal-god. But Elijah worshipped God on the holy Sabbath, God’s
day, which is why He accepted that offering gladly and answered Elijah’s
prayers. Even with Jesus, though He did not even go to school, because He kept
the Sabbath holy, our Father accepted Him gladly. For all of you today as well,
the last group that will ascend to heaven, it will turn out like that for you
also.
Please read John 14:21, [He
who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves
Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.]
For those who love God, even if you tell them not to keep His commandments,
they will. Next, [If you love Me, keep My commandments.] (John 14:15) There is
no need for God to say, “Keep My commandments.” If you truly love God, you will
automatically keep His commandments with all your heart and a voluntary spirit.
[Do you not know that those
who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize?] (1Cor 9:24) [And also
if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according
to the rules.] (2Tim 2:15)
Long time ago in Seoul,
there was a cycling competition. People came from all over the country saying
they were confident in coming first. Many athletes came out and at the sound of
the gun, the race began and they all took off. There was this one man who was
leading the race from the beginning quite a distance ahead of everyone else. But
on the way, his wheel broke, so he lifted up his hand and someone gave him a
new bicycle. He took the bicycle and started again, but by then the other
athletes were already one lap ahead of him. He started racing again and at the
finishing line, he just barely made it in second place. But the judges came and
told the person who had come in first, “Come here,” and they put him in last
place. The person who had come in second was put in first place. Later they
found out it was because the person who had come in first had turned the lanes
inside the line. Everyone knows that athletes must strictly adhere to the rules.
Likewise, no matter how much those Christians jump up and down and yell about
how strong their faith is, all of you only need to keep the Sabbath to enter
heaven easily and nonchalantly. That’s all you need to do.
[If you want to enter into
life, keep the commandments.] (Mat 19:17)
Do you want to enter eternal life? Then you must keep the commandments.
[To the law and to the
testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is
no light of dawn.] (Isa 8:20) So whether they cast out demons or speak tongues
or prophesy, [to the law and to the testimony] they must follow the law and they
must follow the testimony. “If they do not speak according to this word, then
they have no light of dawn, they will not see the light at the dawn of eternal
life.” May you follow the truth.
[For whoever shall keep the
whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said,
“Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.”] He who said, “Do not
murder,” also said, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” He who said,
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy,” also said, “You shall have no
other gods before Me.” [Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder
(or transgress any other point), you have become a transgressor of the law.]
(James 2:10-11; Exo 20:8, 3, 5)
There was a man, a thief,
he went to a certain house and stole things. He took cash, jewelries, and all
kinds of property worth money; but he got caught. “You’re stealing again.” “Oh,
sir, you know, I’m keeping all the laws of Korea, except for just this one law.
I stole, what’s the big deal?” Can you say that? You must keep all the laws in
order to be a righteous citizen of this country. If you keep ninety-nine out of
a hundred and you break one, then you are a criminal. [For He who said, “Do not
commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.”] He who said, “Do not murder,”
also said, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy,” He who said, “Remember
the Sabbath day, to keep it holy,” also said, “You shall have no other gods
before Me.” in other words we must keep all the Ten Commandments. “Oh, if I
keep the nine of the Ten Commandments I will be righteous,” but that’s not it
at all. I hope that you will keep all the Ten Commandments.
[So speak and so do as
those who will be judged by the law of liberty.] (James 2:12) [So speak and so
do (so act) as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.] For those who
keep the Sabbath, it’s written, read Galatians 5:18, [But if you are led by the
Spirit, you are not under the law.] If you are led by the living God and the
Holy Spirit, then you will not be under the law, sweating under the burden.
Then what? Where will you be? “You will be on top of the law, whistling.” Why?
Those who break the Sabbath will not be sanctified, so they bear the image of
the demon, they are sick, they are powerless, and they have no light, they are
in darkness, and they wither away to death. But those who keep the Sabbath,
they become regenerated and sanctified, and they are free from the power of sin
and death. Everything is liberty and freedom for them. They are free from
sickness, free from sin, and they are on top of the law of liberty. Are you on
top of the law of liberty? Everyone in this world says the law is so burdensome
and oppressive; there’s not a single denomination that has the law of liberty.
Only you are walking on top of this law of liberty, so may you keep this
Sabbath holy to the end.
Aren’t you glad you made
the right decision in not going home and remaining here? Yes, you did well.
What did I tell you from the very beginning? I said that every hour determines
your life and death so not to miss even one hour. Because you have obeyed, you
have become completely freed, to be filled with peace as you whistle your way
to heaven.
[Whoever commits sin also
commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.] (1John 3:4) So sin is not just
murdering and stealing but it’s lawlessness. Breaking the law is sin. If a
driver did not want to obey the traffic laws and said, “Oh, red light, so what,”
and he just passed the red light, he could die from a collision. What is sin?
Sin is the act of not keeping the law. It’s not so much that the driver did
anything wrong, he just didn’t keep the law, the traffic laws. So even today,
all those Christians in the world, they are all lawless; they are breaking the
law. Who is the son of lawlessness? Satan. And those who follow him also become
children of lawlessness and they commit lawlessness. So we must follow Jesus
and become the children of obedience. Jesus is the Son of God who made the law,
but even He obeyed. He walked that path as an example of obedience. So how
could we live breaking the law like that? Jesus lived in obedience and ascended
to heaven in obedience. How could we hope to ascend to heaven if we disobey?
[Here is the patience of
the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of
Jesus.] (Rev 14:12) Who are the saints? Are they not the ones who go to heaven?
Yes. Saints are those who will ascend to heaven. “Saints,” in Hanmun characters
mean “holy” and “group.” So, “saints” mean “a holy group, a group without sin.”
[Here is the patience of the saints] – and who are the saints? They are those
who keep the commandments of God, living the life of keeping the Father’s commandments
and the faith of Jesus. What was the faith of Jesus? Was it not in keeping the
Sabbath of God? May you all become saints.
[And the dragon (Satan) was
angry with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring,
who keep the commandments of God and bear the testimony of Jesus. And he stood
on the sand of the sea.] (Rev 12:17) So many of Satan’s followers like the sand
of the sea will rise to fight against the offspring of Jesus who keep the
commandments of God and bear the testimony of Jesus. Then are there people in
this world who keep the commandments of God and bear the testimony of Jesus?
You are the only ones. Right now, if the pope appears, there’s a crowd that
follows him. They look like the sands of the sea if you look at photos. That’s
why the whole world will join themselves with the Catholic Church, all
religions and governments, they will all join together in the ecumenical
movement, and they will unite as one to kill those who keep the Sabbath. At
that time, may you stand on the side of God and be like Elijah and fight them, to
be victorious over them to the end.
[Be faithful until death,
and I will give you the crown of life.] (Rev 2:10) Will you be faithful and
keep the Sabbath unto death? Being faithful and keeping the Sabbath is being
faithful to God. Please listen to me carefully. The focus of the universe is
this earth. Why? The two Gods of this universe sacrificed Themselves on this
earth. You know this earth was a nameless, forsaken thornbush planet. No one
knew about this earth because it was created last; it had no name, title, or
existence. But it became the most famous and the most glorious planet in the
universe, the focus and attention of the entire universe. Why? The King of the
universe came down to this earth and died.
And so, the focus of the
universe is the earth, the focus of the earth is the City of Jerusalem where
God’s people are, the focus of Jerusalem is the sanctuary, the focus of the
sanctuary is the Most Holy Place, the focus of the Most Holy Place is the ark,
the focus of the ark is the Ten Commandments stone tablets, the focus of the Ten
Commandments stone tablets is the Sabbath, the focus of the Sabbath is that Jehovah
God abides within the Sabbath. That is why the Sabbath is the focus of Satan’s
attacks. Satan knows that if he just gets rid of the Sabbath, all of humanity
and the entire universe will fall into ruins. That’s why he is determined to
obliterate the Sabbath, so that he can take over the whole universe. If you
keep the Sabbath, to uphold it and glorify it to the end, then it will be a
sign of your loyalty to God, you will glorify God, and it will become your
power and victory. Will you be faithful unto death? I have come to do the same
as well.
[Because you have kept My
command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall
come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.] (Rev 3:10) The
day will soon come when in all the vast plains and fields throughout the world –
they say the State of Texas in America is so vast it is seemingly endless – despite
sowing a countless number of wheat or such grains, nothing will grow, all will rot
and die. Why? Our Real Father is the source of life, and He must be a part of
everything for there to be life and things that grow. Now, to the people who
had trampled upon the law, they will lose all the blessings of God. But during
the time of such tribulations when you are fighting against all those people that
are like the sands of the sea, those who are faithful to the end will be fed
directly by God. “Since you kept My Word to persevere to the end, I will also protect
you during this tribulation.” May these words be fulfilled in you, in your
family, and in your children.
[And he who overcomes, and
keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.] (Rev
2:26) So those who keep the Sabbath to the end will have power over the nations
and they will sit on the universal throne. May you receive these blessings.
[To him who overcomes I
will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise
of God.] (Rev 2:7) To those who are victorious and keep the Sabbath holy to the
end, He says, “I will give to you the tree of life.” May that tree of life be yours.
[He who has an ear, let him
hear what the Spirit says to the churches.] (Rev 2:7) In this hour, will you
listen to what the true Holy Spirit of the living God says? Yes. Thank you.
[I, Jesus, have sent My
angel to testify to you these things in the churches.] (Rev 22:16) Right now,
will you believe that this is not the Word of this man, Park Myung Ho, but the Word
of Jesus who is speaking through this human speaker? Thank you. May you keep
the request of Jesus to the end.
“[Surely I am coming
quickly.] (Rev 22:20) Amen, hallelujah! To God our Lord Jesus who is ‘Lord of
the Sabbath, the same yesterday, today, and forever,’ who pours upon us and all
our brethren in the universe these special blessings abundantly on the Sabbath
day, we render glory, praise, and thanksgiving forever and ever! Praise the
Lord!” Amen.
And so, since the beginning
our Daddy established the Sabbath and personally kept it. Next, Jesus
personally kept it, the disciples kept it, Apostle Paul kept it, and the last
disciples who will go through Jacob’s Trouble also keep it. Not only that, this
is the very Sabbath we will keep even in the new heaven and new earth for
eternity. May you and I enjoy eternal happiness within the blessings of this
eternal Sabbath and live for eternity.
