Chapter 11, “Our Real Father Who Gave Another Fruit of Life to His Fallen Children.”
Living in the
Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve did not know sadness or misery, pain or death. They never saw
a leaf fall or flowers fade, only
living in perfect happiness. Since our Real Father was worried His children might fall, He
showed them the eternal way to living
happily without ever dying, as well as the path of death that
might befall them if they disobeyed Him. So they were taught two paths, the way to live happily forever and
the path of death. Eating the fruit of life was the only way to live happily for eternity. All they had to
do was live according to our Real Father’s request and eat only the fruit of life. But since they disobeyed and ate the fruit of the
knowledge of good and evil, they died. Adam and Eve took our Real Father’s request of love and lesson of love as a joke and did not
listen to Him, rather choosing to listen to
the words of
one they did not even know who had
crawled his way into
the Garden. By disregarding God’s words, they chose the path of death.
Since we are their descendants,
we like the thrill of going on adventures and doing dangerous things. Adventure
is fine, but venturing to doubt our Real
Father’s words
and disobeying
Him is dangerous. I hope you’ll never do this because doing so will be your death. The
reason why humanity fell was not because Eve
ate the forbidden fruit, that was several steps away. The first step was in doubting our Real Father’s love, then disobeying His request, and then going over the fence to where the forbidden tree was. Eve
disobeyed our Real Father’s words
by leaving her husband’s side when He told her not to. The fourth step was purposely taking the risk of approaching
the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil. Do you know why the churches in the world today are dying? It’s because never mind not believing in our Real Father’s love, they don’t
even know what it is. They do not obey His words and have lost their true
Husband, Jesus, a long time ago. Wandering alone they have become such pitiful
beings.
The origin of
man’s fall was first
in doubting
our Real Father’s love and considering
His words as a joke. The next step was leaving the side of their true Husband, Jesus Christ, represented by Adam, and intentionally walking
alone to the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil, confident that she would be alright. As
Eve walked alone towards the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil, she was fascinated by it. People think that the fruit of life was
beautiful while the fruit from the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil was ugly,
but it was rather the other way around.
The fruit of life was quite
simple and plain-looking while the fruit
of good and evil looked truly enticing
and fascinating. When she looked at it, she said, “Wow, how beautiful! Why did
my Father tell us not to go near, look at, or touch it, saying we would die if we ate it?
How strange!” While she thought this,
sly and clever Satan did not lose his
opportunity and said, “Eve.” “What? Who
in the world would call me?” Her husband was the
only one who had called
her name until now.
She looked
around. “Here, here, me,
me! Look at me!” Draped on the tree
of the knowledge of good and evil was a serpent. Before the fall, the serpent was truly a beautiful creature that sparkled and flew about. “Look
at me, me, me!”
It seemed to be a miracle that the serpent could talk. Satan uses all the miracles, signs, and wonders in his power in order to kill us. We should never even blink an eye or be deceived by those who show
miracles, signs, and wonders. Even if it seems
to be the same miracle of fire coming down from heaven as in Elijah’s time, I hope that you will not be deceived by those false miracles. The miracle of miracles
is in the Word of the Jehovah
of Hosts. There is no greater miracle than the Word.
Only when we are within
the safe thresholds of the Word are
we safe. Let us not venture to do
those things that seem exciting and yet fanatical.
The talking
serpent shocked Eve. The serpent said, “Eve, did your Father tell you that you must not eat all the fruits in this garden?” That is what is
written in the Bible. Does it not
sound ridiculous? This was
Satan’s cleverness at work. If Satan had asked, “Did your Father say
not to eat this fruit?”
she would have said, “Yes, He told us
not to,”
and she would have been reminded of Real Daddy’s
warning and
left him. Since our Father knew that Satan was
clever and
His children were simple-minded
and innocent, He told them not to separate from each other and to never go near the forbidden tree. Instead of
saying, “Did your Father say not to eat
this?” Satan tried to seduce her with his play of words by asking in a roundabout
way,
“Did your Father tell you that you must not eat all the fruits in this garden?” Eve replied, “No, that’s absurd. He said we can eat all the fruits in the Garden. Except for this one.” From then on, Satan succeeded and Eve
began to lose in the battle of words, for she had been told not to speak to anyone, but
already she had engaged in conversation with the serpent.
After you attend
this seminar, you will go back home and
have to fight against a Satan whose wisdom has been accumulating for over six
thousand years. Since you are
still in the state of a chick, do not engage in a word battle with the enemy.
But once you are matured and grown up, then no matter how many conversations
they engage you in, you will win and they will lose. Until then, you must be
careful.
When I first
held a seminar in Seoul, a person who attended this meeting just once kept on
talking and calling people to talk about this message. Later, she almost died spiritually. I told her not to talk to people about it yet but she wouldn’t
listen and later, her face was dark with doubts and she was in critical danger.
She barely survived miraculously, and now that she is a matured marvelous
Elijah, she wouldn’t lose any battles anymore, but it almost turned out
disastrous for her. When you are but a chick as Eve was, you must be careful not to get into any
fights with the enemy until you are good and ready, or you will suffer the
consequences as Eve did. Satan exulted in getting Eve to converse with him. When
Eve replied, “No, our Father said we can eat
everything except for this one,”
he was already victorious even before
his next words. “Look at this fruit. Does
it not look beautiful and fascinating? Eating it will give you infinite wisdom.” Eve thought it looked so beautiful and fascinating.
Although the tree of life and the tree of good and evil were right next to each other, she was
so fascinated by the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that
she completely forgot about the
tree of life.
I hope that the things
of the world will not overly fascinate you. We just have to know where God’s
Word is. Do not be fascinated by your environment and surroundings and those human things. Satan said, “Look at this fruit. Does it not look
like it will make you wise?
Your Father tricked you. He knew
that if you ate
this fruit,
you would become like Him, all-knowing and almighty. He told you
not to eat this fruit because He was
afraid that you would
be as wise as He.
Here, eat it and become
like God.” “No.
Our Father has never lied.”
“Lied? Did He say you would die if you ate this?
Let us see then. Watch me and see if I die.”
The serpent started
to eat it. “Am I dead? Am I
dying?” Since he did not die, Eve started to doubt our Father though she had always believed Him in the past. “The serpent is not dying.
Did Father lie to me?” Satan said, “Here, try it.”
We might not die right away when we disobey God’s word, but in the end, it will be our eternal death.
Since there is
no immediate judgment, death, or
punishment when we disobey our Father’s words, people grow bold in committing sin. But when we obey our Father’s words, we must
obey His words to the end. If we do not want to die, we must never disobey His
words.
Satan took
another fruit and said, “Here,
take this. Eat it.”
With a trembling hand she took the fruit
and tried it. She did not die;
she ate the rest of the fruit since it tasted so good.
However, though she did not die, all the heavenly peace, joy, and
happiness that had surrounded her
until now completely disappeared and she felt afraid for the first time,
as if someone were
chasing after her. In that beautiful garden, there was nothing to fear and nothing to be afraid of.
It was a peaceful and tranquil place, but this princess’s heart beat so wildly and she felt nervous, anxious, and worried. She
took another fruit and ran to her
husband. She said, “Dear,
the serpent said our Father would not let us eat it because only He wanted to be God. Look! I ate this and I
am not dead. I did not die.”
As Adam looked at her, her once innocent
eyes were now sparkling in a strange way. He knew right away and thought, “How pitiful. She is going to die. She has gone mad.” But since she was his
only companion, Adam loved his wife and could not imagine living without her. She
was so beautiful that he could not bear separating from her and decided it was better to die with her than live
without her.
Samson had also known that Delilah would eventually kill him. Adam saw that her eyes looked
different; she
was acting nervous and afraid.
Adam made up his mind, “I
will die with you,”
and then he quickly devoured
the fruit. After he ate the fruit,
all the heavenly peace, joy, and happiness he had in his heart disappeared. That bold heavenly prince became
timid and afraid, filled with unease. He became a coward who wanted to hide himself.
The next thing he knew,
the glorious raiment of light
that had covered them disappeared and they
felt ashamed of their indecent nakedness.
They couldn’t look at each other. They
took fig leaves and tried to cover their nakedness. Since there were no needles
or thread, they
probably used vines
to join leaves together to cover themselves. They trembled in their nakedness, all happiness, peace, and joy having deserted them.
A short while
later, they heard their Father coming to visit them and they were terrified. Before, they used to run to our Father and say, “Father,
You came!” and grab
His hands. Now,
they were terrified
and hid behind a tree. It seemed as if their Father would kill them. With
the same love He
had always shown, our Father said, “Adam and Eve,
where are you?” There
was no answer. “Adam, where are you?” No
answer. After a while, Adam said,
“I heard You coming and hid because I was afraid.” Since Adam’s birth, such words had never come out of his lips before.
Though they had been so
happy to be with Him in the past, they were afraid and hiding from Him now. The fact that they were afraid and
hiding from Him because they
thought God would kill them meant they had succumbed to madness and insanity.
Our heavenly Father was so sad and distressed. They had betrayed His love and followed the serpent instead. Then did our
Father angrily say, “Did
you eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil? I told you not to eat that. How could
you doubt Me like this?”
Did you ever hear that He beat or punished them? No. Instead, He said, “You poor things, you pitiful things…” and He was in a
state of alarm. Since they were naked and tried to use leaves
that tore easily to cover themselves, He killed a sheep and used its leather for their clothing. “Oh, how could you doubt Me, I told you time and
again, didn’t I?” and He quickly clothed them in sheep’s clothing. This
is the garment of true righteousness by faith.
Those churches in the world today say we will receive the clothes of righteousness by faith in
heaven when Jesus comes again, but that is not true. As soon as the children fell in
the Garden of Eden, He already
clothed them with the righteousness
of faith. The sheep’s leather skin is Jesus’ clothes of righteousness.
The message of the three angels
was not given by the SDA’s in
Minneapolis in 1844. This message was given to the children in
the Garden of Eden right
after they betrayed Him. Our Father asked them, “Why
must we be separated?”
As they left the Garden,
our Father wept, “Why must we be separated? Come back to Me!” This is the message of the three
angels. All throughout history, our Father has cried out to His children.
In the time of Noah, He said, “Here, ride this ark so we can live
together!” In the time of Sodom and Gomorrah,
He said, “Leave
those cities. Leave Sodom and
Gomorrah and let us live together!
Live with Me!”
All throughout history,
our Father has cried out to His children, “Here, return back to Me! Let us live together!” The
circumstances, the environment, and the story may be different in every age, but the message is always the same. The three angels’ message
and the message of true righteousness by
faith is one and the
same message.
Although
God clothed them, could Adam and Eve live by simply being clothed? No, they had to eat as well. Those who have committed sin even once cannot ever eat the fruit of life. Some people
say God chased Adam and Eve
out of the Garden to die because they ate the fruit of the knowledge of good
and evil. But do
you know what is the real reason why
our Father sent them out of the Garden? It was not because He hated them, cursed them, or wanted to kill them because they had been disobedient.
This demon has spread so many misunderstandings about our
Father, but I will get rid of all those lies. And for those who will ascend to heaven, I will cleanly and spotlessly clear up everything without
the slightest room for doubt.
When our Father sent His children out from the Garden of Eden, it was not because He hated them; it was because He loved them. They
had eaten the fruit of good and
evil and gone mad, being terrified of their own Father and
running
away from Him. They were mad with fear just
hearing their Father walking towards them. If
they ate the fruit of life and lived in the Garden forever in that state, what would have happened to them? They would have died from fear and madness.
Our Father who loved
them, said, “Here,
pack your bags and leave.”
He had them leave so He could treat and cure them. He hoped that they would
be treated and come back to live in the Garden in the future for eternity. If they had stayed in the Garden, they would have been terrified their whole lives for eternity. Our Father sacrificed
His Son to cure them and He has continued
to cure them until this very day. Do you understand? He
did not send them out because He hated them.
If a child was extremely sick and dying without a cure, the parents would go to the doctor and say, “Doctor, I cannot bear to watch my son suffering
like this!
Can you please put him to rest? Can you take him off life support? Can you give
him a shot and
put him to sleep?”
Euthanasia would be used to take him out
of his pain and suffering. Since the
child is going to die anyway, they don’t want him to suffer needlessly further.
This is the heart of parents.
When Adam and
Eve ran away in fear and hid from God,
our Father felt sorry for them. He knew they had lost their minds. He
quickly clothed them and sent them out of the Garden so they would not have to live in fear anymore.
He wanted to cure and
heal them,
then bring them back to the Garden of Eden, and have them eat the fruit of life again. That was the Father’s love. Whether
it is in the Garden of Eden or in the future,
we must eat the fruit of life in order to
live. The fruit of life exists throughout the universe and in every star. The
pastors in the SDA church say there is no fruit of life outside of the Garden of Eden, but
that is a lie.

In the middle of
the earth,
there was a garden.
In the middle of this garden,
there were two trees.
The life and death of all of humanity was determined by which tree they ate
from. Instead of eating the fruit of life, man
chose to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil and they died.
Do you know why
Satan wanted humanity
to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil? Satan had been chased out of the
universe for his rebellion and
the earth was the only place for him to
go to. The universe was already filled with inhabitants, but since
this place was made last,
he knew he could use this earth
as his home if he only deceived
the owners of the earth.
It was his purpose to take this earth as his own and
use it as the headquarters to fight against God. That was his dream. So when he
killed the owners, the earth became his and he became king over it.
His plan had succeeded. He excitedly said,
“This earth
is now my kingdom!
Now I will fight against heaven!”
But our Father was in a state of emergency. He
appeared before His children, showing Adam and Eve how to live, clothed them with Jesus’ robe of righteousness, and gave
them another fruit of life to eat since they had forfeited the fruit of life in the Garden of Eden.
This other fruit of life is the Word
from God’s mouth mentioned in
Matthew 4:4.
Our Father did
not save us just
two thousand years ago,
He saved us ever since
the Garden of Eden. This is something you should be aware of. Was it just the cross that saved us? That happened many steps later. If it were not for our Father’s emergency preparations in the
Garden of Eden,
humanity would have already died long
ago. There is absolutely no way to live if we leave our Father. Only those
who had never sinned could eat the fruit
of life from the Garden of Eden. But with the Word fruit of life, even after sinning so
much, if we just eat it, we will live. Is it not convenient? It is a better fruit
of life. It is a fruit of life for these
children who have sinned.
Only those who have never sinned can wear
the robe of light, but sinners
can wear the sheep’s clothing, the robe of Jesus’ righteousness, the sacrifice
of the Son. Isn’t that better?
Aren’t these clothes more convenient?
Our Father is
truly a caring Father
who loves us. We should have died long
ago, but we were
able to live again by our Father’s special love. And yet, do you still say we do not
need our Real Father?
Our Father already went through the anguish of killing His Son and clothing us with His
righteousness. If the fruit of life was only found on one tree in the middle of
the earth,
we would have to prepare plane tickets to go there all the time to eat the
fruit or else we would
die. But instead, He gave us the Word fruit of life that we could eat it
as much as we wanted to whenever and wherever we wanted to even after all our sinning. If we just eat it we
could live. Truly how
convenient this fruit of life is! In the end, we still receive the same eternal life from
eating either. We can live eternally while wearing the robe of light, but we can also live eternally by wearing Jesus’ robe
of righteousness as well.
Truly how wise our Father is!
I will continue to explain what I was saying before. Satan
killed the owners of this earth
and said, “This
earth is now my kingdom and country!
I will use this place as my headquarters!”
He was so happy,
but then our Real Father dashed over to
His children, clothed them
in the Son’s robe of righteousness,
and gave them another fruit of life. The new fruit
of life became the Word fruit
of life. Our Daddy said, “Hey kids! Since
you can’t eat this fruit of life, eat this Word fruit of life from now on so that you can live.”
Satan looked at the situation and could not believe it as he thought to
himself, “Why does
He not kill them? Why is He saving them?” Why? It’s because He is our Real Father!
Then, Satan hastily went to the Word, the Bible, and set up his own word tree of the knowledge of
good and evil there as well.
Satan is truly persistent in wanting to kill us.
If the people in this world eat the Word fruit of life in the Bible, they will live, but if
they eat the word fruit
of the knowledge of good and evil in the Bible,
they will die. In the world today, Christians do not know the difference between
the Word fruit of life and the word fruit of good and evil in the
Bible. I hope you will listen to every hour because each hour determines your
life or death. Do not group this lecture with the other Bible lectures in the
world.
What is the fruit of life and the fruit
of good and evil in the Bible? In the Garden of Eden, the fruit of life was like an
apple except very beautiful.
The fruit was clear with shimmers of silver and gold. The
fruit of life contained
no poison and it
gave people the strength, energy, and vitality needed to live forever. What
is the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil? It is good and evil. The fruit of the knowledge of good and evil may look fascinating and taste good
but there is poison in it. It contains evil.
Please do not
fall asleep this hour.
Satan knows that if
you sleep just one hour and do not listen properly to just one lecture, you could
die. If you are sleepy, you can stand up, but you must stay awake and listen.
There is a fruit of good and evil in your house as well. What could
that be? It is “rat poison.”
It contains poison mixed with what rats
like to eat. Since it tempts rats with a good smell and delicious taste, what happens to the rat once it eats it?
The rat eats it and dies from the
poison. This bait may smell good and appear to be like a healthy meal, but
there is poison in it to kill the animal.
Since I use rat
bait as an example,
there are some people in the world going around saying, “Teacher Park teaches that there is rat poison in
the forbidden fruit.” If there was rat poison in the forbidden fruit and Adam and Eve ate it, they
would have died instantly.
How could they live for 930
years? I wish those people in the world would remain still and just keep quiet, how frustrating they are.
Before Adam ate
the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, he was wise and never doubted our
Real Father’s love.
But after he ate the fruit of the
knowledge of good and evil,
he became scared of our Father and lost his mind. The fruit of good and evil contained
a poison that made him go crazy. What was that poison? It was the poison of disbelief and mistrust in God’s love. After he ate it, he
could not trust our Father and he was so terrified that he ran away from God.
Now the fruit of life was transferred to the Bible. So what
is the Word fruit of life? When man ate the original fruit of life, it was the essence of God’s life, so man could live forever. The Word fruit of life is also the essence of God’s life. And what is God’s life? It is love. God’s
Word begins and ends with His love, so the Word that leads you to God’s love is what
revives your soul, transforms you, fills you, and leads you to eternal life.
Whether it is the judgment,
death, resurrection, or hell,
it must begin and end with God’s love. When it does, that is the Word fruit of life.
I hope that you will remember this.
What is the word
fruit of good and evil? Just as in the Garden,
it is the fruit of the
knowledge of good and evil.
It is a message that begins with God’s
love but ends saying that God
is a fearful and rigid God, the
God of judgment who will send you to the fires of hell. Whatever causes us to fear God, a single word or verse,
is undoubtedly the word fruit of good
and evil. Those who eat that fruit will doubt our Father’s love and die. You
must remember this. It starts out by saying, “God loved this world so much that
He gave His only begotten Son,” but
ends saying that you must
fear God since He will judge and
curse you and send you to hell. Any teaching, word, verse, or lie that causes
us to doubt or be afraid of God
is the word fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. If you
read those kinds
of books or listen to those kinds of sermons,
never mind being saved, you will be
scared of God, tremble in fear, and run
away from Him, to only end up dying on
this earth. I hope that you will never listen to such sermons or buy such books. If you have any such books, may
you burn them all.

It is titled, “The
First Fruit
of Life and Forbidden Fruit in the Garden of Eden.” In the world, they say, “Fear God and His judgment! You must achieve your salvation
trembling in fear!”
Is there one person in this world who
teaches how much our God loves us? Instead, the whole world is taught to fear
God and only believe in Jesus.
Now do you know who is spreading that kind of
forbidden fruit? Just as we cannot eat any random fruits in
this world,
we cannot eat everything in the Bible. We must only eat the fruit of life found
in the Bible.

The teaching
that God the Father in heaven is love. But
He deals with sinners fearfully and harshly as the Judge, the God of wrath.
He is stingy in forgiving sinners and is a cruel God who is satisfied with
the judgment of sulfuric hell. Satan instills such suggestions and
impressions upon human souls, burdening sinners with such a heavy burden as
he spreads this fearful and malevolent news.

1. Their
mental and spiritual eyes are opened as they are able to see the heavenly
Father just as He is, enjoying His company as they love and follow Him with
joy
2. Body,
heart, and soul are overflowing with vigor from the vitality that comes from
God as they live lives filled with joy, gladness, and peace, a life of loving
all of mankind as they do their own families and their own selves
3. They live
a life continuously bearing the heavenly Father’s character of love and the
image of Christ Jesus
4. They
become virtuous messengers that joyously go out to spread this Word fruit of
life to fellow brethren and fellow countrymen

1. Their
spiritual eyes are blinded, going in an opposite direction from the Bible in
their hearts, thoughts, and minds as they are unable to wholly believe the
countless words of the Bible that
clearly records God is love, to be rather filled with doubts and mistrust,
living a religious life in continuous belief that God is a fearful God
2. When they
first eat the forbidden fruit (false truths), they fall into a momentary
fanatical bliss of joy and happiness that fills their hearts and souls, but
the aftereffects are a deeper emptiness, anxiety, and skepticism than before.
Living a life with no confidence in their own salvation, they only utter
Jesus’ name like some incantation, calling on the name of the heavenly Father
only as a formality. They have not the slightest heart of sincere love for
God as they live with fretful souls and anxious hearts constantly trying to
evade the heavenly Father’s presence without even their realizing it
3. As the
days pass, they do not even understand what the words rebirth (regeneration)
or sanctification means, rather their characters becoming increasingly
stubborn, self-righteous, and proud, as they live a life conforming to Satan’s
mentality and character, resembling his image
4. They
become Satan’s faithful agents that spread this word forbidden fruit to
others without any real purpose or with
fanatic urgency

OUTCOME OF EATING
THE TWO FRUITS
|
Leads self
and others to the eternal Paradise where our heavenly Father abides
|
Leads self
and others to the valley of death where evil spirits swarm about
|
What is the purpose of giving us the fruit of life? It provides eternal
life for God’s children. What is the purpose of the forbidden fruit? It is to
restrict Satan’s power.
Once when I stopped
by the city of Yi-ri, a person from another denomination
asked me, “Why
did God make the tree of good and evil and tell us not to eat its fruit in the first place? Since we ate the fruit, He had to curse us and give us His only begotten Son. Why did He go through all that trouble in the first place?
If He did not make the forbidden tree, we would have lived in the Garden of Eden forever. Why is He
like that? He seems so malicious, and that’s
why He’s not the God of love.” Don’t
you share the same doubts? Didn’t
you think that way as well?
Why do you think God made the tree of
the fruit
of good and evil and said, “Do
not eat this, go near it, or even
look at it?”
If He had not made it in the first place, man would not have fallen. Is this not true? There’s no one who knows the answer to this. But that was
in fact our Father’s love.
When you enter some prestigious department stores in those Western countries, there is a gentleman-like being who greets you, saying, “Hello, welcome,” or “Thank you, goodbye.”
It does that all day. What is it? It
is a doll or mannequin-type
robot. As your children grow up,
do you tell them, “When
you grow up,
you must sit if anyone tells you to sit. If anyone tells you to stand, you must stand. Eat only when you are told to eat. Disregard
your own ideas and freedom of
thought, only live according to what other people tell you to do”? Is there any parent that says that to their child?
Rather, they say, “My son (daughter) that I’m so proud of! I hope that you will live with an independent spirit, according to your will and judgment!” That is the wish of all parents for their children.
Our Father is the same. He could have said, “You
must listen to Me
for eternity! Just be submissive to Me,”
by only making the fruit of life and no
fruit of the knowledge
of good and evil. But because
our Father is love, He gave man
the choice to obey or disobey Him. You can follow Him or leave Him. He allowed
us the freedom of choice by
creating the fruit of good and evil. Giving us that choice to choose of our own accord was God’s love.
If God had gotten rid of the tree of the fruit of good and evil, He would have been a dictator as Satan accused Him of being. Our Father is
not a dictator. He gave humanity
two choices: you can
follow Me or leave Me, you can live with Me or live elsewhere alone. He is the
God of love because He has always given us the freedom of choice.
If there is a
fire on the opposite side of your building, how would you know about it? You would probably
continue sleeping and the building would burn completely. In big buildings, what happens when there is a fire? A fire alarm goes off, doesn’t it? The fire alarm
rings, warning us to go to a safe place. Even
though this universe is so vast,
the tree of good and evil starts ringing with alarm when there is sin, warning you to come to your senses and be on the
alert.
Once, after I mentioned this during the seminar, a student came to my room
and said, “Teacher!” “What?” “You
said a bell rang like a fire alarm from the forbidden tree, but
when did it ring?”
“In the Garden when sin appeared in the beginning, the forbidden fruit began to ring with
Satan saying, ‘It’s me, I’m sin.’” Just believe what I say.
No matter how vast the universe may be, our Father set
up that alarm to protect us from the power of Satan. God’s wisdom is infinite and boundless.
When I was
attending elementary school, my vice principal was
a very intelligent and very athletic man. He
was very good looking
except for one thing. His lips were torn and there were scars from the stitches around his mouth. Nowadays, you can get plastic surgery to remove scars, but it was not available back then. He also had a brother working at the provincial
office. Oddly, both brothers had the same stitches on their lips. Everyone wondered, “Why are
the assistant principal and his brother’s mouths both like that?”
We learned later that they were from a very rich family, and when they were young, they had been
outrageously mischievous. They
were rich so
their father used to hunt on their land. Since foxes liked to eat dried persimmons, hunters used to imbed little explosives in
dried persimmons to kill the fox when it eats it. So this father had stashed the dried persimmons filled
with explosives in the attic. But one day, these two children saw the dried persimmons and they picked them up and ate
them. Since they ate them
at the same time, both of their mouths were torn and both had to get stitches.
The dried
persimmons had been a trap
to kill the fox but it hurt his children instead. In
the same way,
this fruit of good and evil was created to catch Satan, but God’s real children
ate the fruit and ended up dying. Now do you understand why the forbidden fruit was
made? The fact that this forbidden fruit exists is proof that God is love.
The tree of life
and the tree with the forbidden fruit are located in the center of the Garden
of Eden. The tree of life represents God, the
King of life, while the forbidden fruit represents Satan, the king of death. We
can choose who we want to follow. Even today,
you still have that choice. If you want to follow Satan, you can do that. If
you want to choose the fruit of life,
you can still choose it today.
Next, what does the fruit from the tree of life look like? It was beautiful. What did the forbidden fruit look like? It was fascinating and alluring.
Though the fruit
of life was full of God’s invigorating vitality, the forbidden fruit was full of poison like the king of death himself. And those who eat the fruit of life have
eyes that see Him as He truly is and follow Him with joy.
Yesterday, you
learned about your body’s health needs and what food makes your blood acidic or
alkaline. You can make choices to stay healthy. Similarly, each of the billions
of people on
this earth must
choose the tree of life or the tree of good and evil. The results are undeniable and shown
very clearly. I hope that you will check what symptoms you show, for the symptoms speak clearly your condition.
What are the symptoms of those who eat the fruit from the
tree of life?
These people see God as He truly is and follow Him with
joy. Now that three or four days have passed since this seminar started, can you see with eyes of faith that
God loves you? Then what does
that mean you have eaten until now? Yes, you have eaten the
fruit of life. I hope you will continue eating this fruit.
The second
symptom is that your body, mind and soul
become filled with God’s vitality and you live a life full of love, joy, and peace. Up to now, you may
have believed in Jesus for ten, twenty, or thirty years, but you did not have confidence in
your salvation and always felt exhausted. You only felt fulfilled when you
jumped up and down or prayed
fanatically, but afterwards,
your emptiness was all the greater.
Since coming here,
has your body, mind, and soul been
filled with God’s vitality and love, joy, and peace? Yes. This is because you have
eaten the fruit of life.
The third
symptom is living a life that is continuously transforming into God’s character and image. When you
first came here, you glared
at me with eyes of doubt. But now
your eyes shine so beautifully since
you have
eaten the fruit of life. The fourth symptom is living a life filled with joy
and becoming a good herald for the fruit of life. Amen. In this way, you can
become God’s son or daughter.
Then what are the symptoms of those who eat the fruit of
good and evil? They become mad and lose their minds while looking upon God as a wicked and stern tyrant. They live a life filled with fear trying to
escape from Him. God is not
trying to kill them at all but when they pray, they begin with, “Our heavenly
Father,” then they hastily scurry to Jesus. Why?
Do you know what they have eaten? It’s because they ate the fruit of good and evil. Those people in the world, they cannot
pray or go to God, so they only
scurry over to Jesus. Now can you see what you ate for all those years while you were in the world?
The second
symptom is that your
body, mind, and soul are filled with burdens, discomfort, as you are
fretful without any peace. Shouldn’t
you have heavenly peace, joy, and happiness, to
be filled with energy if you believe in Jesus? But it’s strange, rather your soul is filled with burdens and
you feel drained.
You always feel so anxious,
restless, and fretful. Do you now know why
you were like that even though you believed in Jesus for such a long time? It’s because you received the fruit of
good and evil from Satan; he put it in your mouth and you ate it.
The third
symptom is that you are living a life continuously transforming into Satan’s malicious
character and image. You become disappointed because you want to be like God and
Jesus. But though you are appointed as a deacon, elder, or pastor,
your character only grows
more stubborn, hardhearted, and proud. Whether it is with your family or at church, you display an evil character more
and more resembling
Satan. Do you know the reason why? What did you eat? You ate the forbidden
fruit of good and evil.
The fourth
symptom is that though you live a life filled with apprehensions and dread, you still become an evil agent of Satan by distributing
the forbidden fruit to others.
You evangelize and tell people to believe in Jesus without realizing it is killing you as well as everyone else.
You continue sharing the forbidden and distributing it to
others as one of Satan’s evil agents. While the first group becomes God’s sons and daughters, the latter group
becomes Satan’s agents. Now are you resolved to become God’s sons and
daughters? Since you are the sons and daughters of God, what
is the result of eating the fruit of life? Whoever eats it obtains eternal
life. Have you received eternal life?
Now what is the outcome of eating the fruit of life and the forbidden
fruit? Whoever eats the fruit of life receives eternal life and enjoys living
for eternity. The outcome of those who eat the forbidden fruit is that whoever
eats it undoubtedly perishes. Bound down by their burdens, fretful and
exhausted they will only end up dying.
Now let’s look at the chart for the “Word Fruit of Life and Word Forbidden Fruit Today” before we
end.
Where is the Word fruit of life located? It is found in the midst of the
Bible. Where
is the forbidden fruit located? It is also in the midst of the Bible. Just because it’s the Bible does not
mean you should eat it completely without thought. Not all sermons or books are
beneficial to you. If you do not have discernment, you could easily die. What is the purpose of the word forbidden fruit? It leads to Satan,
the king of death, who destroys all life. What is the purpose of the Word fruit of life? It leads to God, the
source of life, who gives eternal life.
Then what is the appearance of the word forbidden fruit? It is complicated because it
contains the plausible truths
of various scriptural words mixed with cunning suggestions of falseness. They make the Bible so complicated
because they mix in old stories and add
tales.
If you just pray,
you could meet our Father. But they manage to make their sermons so strange and complex using Barclay’s interpretations, etc. Just as eating food in its raw and natural state is the best for your health, I
hope that you will believe the Bible as it
is written. Why do we need any
other interpretations or study notes? They incorrectly categorize all this as theology.
How pathetic it is.
What is the
shape of the Word
fruit of life? It is the undisguised, simple truths of the Bible plainly revealed. I hope that you
will understand the truth in its simplicity. If Jesus spoke those words, all we need to do is believe in Him. There is no need to
make the truth complicated with confusing theories and interpretations. I hope that you will maintain the truth as it is.
Let us look at
the characteristics of the forbidden
fruit. This
fruit is composed of fearful and unpleasant theories from Satan. This is why people die. What do
these fearful, unpleasant theories from Satan do? They give heavy burdens to sinners. It suggests and gives the impression
that although God is love, He is also a stern judge who is reluctant to forgive
sinners and loves punishing with
fire. How Satan fills the soul with fearful images
of God.
When you hear sermons, you should be happy and dancing, but
every time you go to
worship and listen to the sermons,
you feel so heavily burdened and tired.
Do you know why all those people come out of worship feeling like that? It is because Satan gave them the fruit
of good and evil. They say that although God is love, He is also a stern judge who is reluctant to forgive
sinners. They learn that one can only gain salvation by trembling with fear. They
also have to pay lots of offerings and donations. This goes on to the extent that people want to commit suicide because of the anguish. Even pastors and
elders have committed suicide. Many people here would have committed suicide if they had not come. There was a man once who had been an elder for twenty years before growing tired of the charade and giving up.
Then what are
the characteristics of the fruit of life? This fruit is composed of the truth about our heavenly Father’s love and His messages
from heaven that bring light, joy, forgiveness of sin, happiness, and eternal
life for sinners. Everything about the fruit of life is love. Whether it is a
doctrine or teaching, everything begins and ends with love.
Who are the messengers of the fruit of good
and evil? They are Satan,
his evil angels, and false clergyman
that are led by the evil spirit. Who
are the messengers for the fruit of life? They are God our Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the
angels, and the true messengers
led by God’s Spirit.
What are the
symptoms of those who partake of the word fruit of good and evil?
First, their spiritual eyes become blinded. Their hearts and minds cannot accept the plainly stated
scriptural testimonies that God is love. They cannot believe it and have doubts and distrust in their heart. They look upon God as a dreadful God.
Although the
Bible has stated in a hundred, thousand
ways that God is love, did you believe in that love before you came to the Elijah Gospel Missionary Institute?
No, you never believed in that love. You could believe that Jesus is love but God was another story. He seemed to like killing
and judging. Why? What did you eat? You ate the fruit of the knowledge of good
and evil. You cannot deny this. All you have to do is look at your symptoms and
you will know right away.
Second, their hearts and souls only feel momentary ecstasy, joy,
and a fanatical happiness from the false
truth. When attending those seminars in the world, you feel so happy for a
moment, but what happens afterwards?
You are filled with emptiness, anxiety,
skepticism, and a disbelief
in redemption. They overuse Jesus’ name out of habit and the Father is formally
referred to without any true love for Him in their hearts. They seek to hide
from His presence and live a life with a restless heart and irritated soul. They
cry out, “Lord, Lord,”
but they feel so anxious
and have no confidence in their
faith. They are at a complete loss.
Third, the true
meaning of regeneration
and sanctification becomes more
difficult to comprehend. Their characters become more self-righteous, proud, and narrow-minded
while living
with the mind and character of Satan.
Do you believe
in Jesus and follow God? Then you
should be more regenerated and sanctified, but you
only become more stubborn, proud, stone-hearted, and end up dying. You should become like Jesus, but you end up becoming more like
Satan. Were you like that before you came here or not? You were exactly like that.
Fourth, they become faithful agents of Satan that go forth blindly and
fanatically to spread the fruit of good and evil to others. In the end, they are an instrument of Satan that destroys their own selves and everyone else as well.
Now, let us see
the symptoms of those who partake of the Word fruit of life.
First, they have
the clear mind and spiritual eyes to see the Father of love as He really is. They
lovingly follow Him with joy. Have you become like that? Yes, this is because
you have eaten the Word fruit
of life. I hope that you will continue to eat this fruit in the future.
Second, their body, heart, and soul become filled with vigor and the vitality
of God. They live a life of peace, joy, and
happiness while loving all of mankind
as their own selves and their families. Have all your heavy burdens been
taken away? Are you filled with vigor and vitality? Are you filled with peace,
joy, and happiness? Can you love all races, denominations, and all of mankind the way you love
your family and yourself? Yes. That is because you have eaten the fruit of
life.
Third, they live
a life continually transforming into the same loving character of the heavenly Father and the image of Jesus. Did you strive to
be like God or Jesus? No. All you did was happily receive the words as sweet as honey, and before you knew it, you were
bearing the fruits of regeneration and sanctification. This is the true
character. There is no need to try to become like Satan. If you eat the fruit
of good and evil that Satan gives you, you will automatically become like him. If you eat the fruit of life that God and
Jesus gives you,
you will automatically become
just like Them. It is very simple and only depends on which you
choose. It is easy to become like God and it is easy to become like Satan. It
is easy to live and it is easy
to die. You truly made a good choice by coming here.
Fourth, they
become faithful messengers that
joyfully go forth to give their brethren the Word
fruit of life. You are able to become a savior of this world.
There was once a
person who spent her whole
life searching for the truth. She
went to all the seminars she
could think of. If she
heard that there was someone who spoke the truth,
she moved next door to that pastor
or person. But after those
meetings, she
only felt even more empty and lonely than
before attending the meetings in the
first place. She
could not retain the happiness and joy that
others seemed to feel, only becoming increasingly stubborn. Despite being with her relatives or church members, she
only hurt them. Nevertheless,
she kept on seeking the truth.
People used to mock her and say, “She only attends meetings and seminars but has not changed even a little bit.” She was so embarrassed that she could not even attend seminars anymore.” But one day, by chance she heard a rumor, “If you go to a place
called the Elijah Gospel Missionary Institute, a man who did not even come out of any theological school teaches there. If you go there, you will not only be recharged,
but you will become like a power generator.” She talked with her daughter and
they came here in secret. They were afraid that people would say, “She is going
to another seminar?”
So she said to her daughter, “Let us go to this seminar and if it is not real, we
will never go to another seminar
ever again.” But this last seminar turned out
to be
the very seminar that saved them. All her life she had travelled to attend all kinds of seminars, but as soon as she
came here, she became
completely changed.
She became a wonderful, beautiful
Jesus and her friends and relatives asked her, “How
did you change?”
and later they all came here as well.
You also will become a generator of
happiness, peace and joy. I hope that you will enjoy it forever. When you return home, I
hope that you will make your own choice between the fruit of life or the fruit
of good and evil for yourself. I will not be responsible for you any longer. May you eat the fruit of life, for then you will automatically
become like God and Jesus, to receive
eternal life and go to heaven. May
you all become like that.
