The Forsaken Thornbush

Thank you very much. Please read Exodus 3:1-2. Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: And he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.”

Moses came to Mount Horeb, the mountain of God and there was a flame of fire in the midst of a bush, and as he looked up the fire did not go out. One day as I went up the mountain, I was disturbed in meditating upon why God appeared on the bush. God appeared to Moses through a bush. Bush that is not even considered a tree. Why did God give such glory of appearing Himself through it? Look at the trees in the mountain, those beautiful trees like apple trees, pears, bamboos, pine trees, oak trees. There are lots of trees in the mountain, then why did God give such glory to a bush in showing Himself to Moses? The bush that is not even considered a family tree? The Bible says it was a bush, the Korean Bible says it was a thorny bush. Thornbush, so I just accepted it as a thornbush.
A thornbush is not a tree. It consists of many branches even from the ground. From the ground, branches come out and form the whole bush. The thornbush is a forsaken tree in the wilderness. Trees like pine, apple, oak, they have their own families, but this bush does not have its own family. All the trees are proud of themselves because they have their own certain families but this bush, have no family, growing by himself, forsaken in the wilderness. Nobody regards him, nobody considers him, he is just forsaken in the wilderness. Not even one tree in the mountain comes to him and says, "Ah let's be friends, let's be friends forever." Nobody comes to him and says that. So this bush always remains under the shadows of other trees. He cannot lift up his head and just remain at the bottom of other trees, under their shadow. Having inferiority complex, he is forsaken by other people, by woodsmen. Nobody considers him, he is forsaken in the wilderness, living by himself so lonely and filled with the feeling of inferiority, living by himself. Then the woodsman passing by cuts him off with a sickle. "How come you are standing here going on a struggle?” He cuts him off. So he was forsaken in the wilderness, forsaken by other trees, by other people. He is only filled with self pity, inferiority complex, and his whole body is covered with many thorns. He does not want to communicate with others, to have contact with others around him. Because he is the worst being in the mountain, he never wants to associate with others. But there was a surprise one day. The king of the universe, the owner of heaven and earth suddenly showed up before this bush, despising all those trees, all those beautiful trees in the mountain. The king of the universe suddenly showed up before this bush, the most shabby, most humble being in the mountain.
Oh, I don't understand. There are so many beautiful trees like apple trees, great vines, pear trees, then why did God show up before this bush? And the king of heaven said, "Hey bush, do you know how much I love you? I love you more than any other tree in the mountain. Why don't you embrace Me? Why don't you come into My bosom? And God hugs him.” Oh! It was the first time he heard such a confession of love from somebody. It was the first time he was loved by somebody. And being embraced by God in His bosom, he poured tears.
Do you say to yourself, "Ah! Everybody else belongs to this missionary group, but no missionary team wants me to join them. Everybody else in the world seems to be very important being but how come I'm so useless person? I'm so poor, so old and nobody acknowledges me even at home. In my church everybody else becomes a deacon or elder or even pastors but nobody acknowledges me, everybody despises me. Ah! Even at home everybody despises me. Ah! Why was I born on this earth? God does not even remember me." Do you say to yourself like that? I hope you will be happy for this fact for this is the reason why God loves you so much and hugs you. He embraces you. People who are so proud of being great man in the world say, "Ah! I'm the general conference president, I'm a minister, I'm the president, I'm the union president. Those kinds of people, God does not look at them. He comes to the lowest person, to the weakest person, and hugs them saying, "Ah! I love you most My child."
You know Abraham Lincoln, one of the great presidents in American history. He was a person who knew God. One day, he invited common people who had no position to the White House. But as the people came, they were afraid to enter. So the president came out and shouted calling them, "Come in! Everybody come in. Don't worry, just come in. God loves you more than presidents. That's why He begot so many plain people. If God loves presidents more than you, then, He would have begotten many presidents. But there is only one president. That' why He loves you more."
Let us not pity ourselves for being the shabbiest person in this world. Let us just be happy for being loved by God. So God despised all trees, those beautiful stately big trees in the mountain. He rather came to this most shabby bush. When all the trees do not think about producing leaves, flower and fruits, this bush already starts bearing fruits. Why? Because he was hugged by God, he was embraced by God. Because he received His love so much he also starts producing fruits first.
Although this bush is forsaken by those trees around him, he is loved by little kids. While other trees do not think of bearing fruits, this bush already starts bearing fruits and the little kids love him so much. In early spring, they all go around the mountain to look for this thornbush to find their fruits. They love the bush so much. I've never heard children complain about thornbushes' thorns. Rather when they eat the fruits they compliment him.
Likewise Jesus was also forsaken by all people. In all countries, He was forsaken but He was loved by little children and accepted by God. The fruit of this bush also is famous in Chinese medicine being used as one of the best remedies. So the bush is forsaken in the wilderness, forsaken by other people, by other trees. He is only filled with envy, jealousy, self pity and rejection feeling yet he is most loved by the people of God, by prophets, and by God Himself. People today fight against each other for not being acknowledged in their churches, at home, and in their community. They try to climb up above others by fighting with one another.  I hope that you will not be like them. I hope that you will be happy for being loved by God, by the King of heaven then, you will be loved by little innocent children, by prophets of God and by the king of the universe.
Luke 23:31 says that Jesus is a tree and we are also trees. In John, Jesus said that He is a vine and we are the branches. We are all human trees.
Let me introduce to you the human trees who are all loved by God in history. If we trace back in the Old Testament we can see a person so much loved by God. He was Moses. When he was four years of age in Egypt, he was receiving best education being a successor to the king's throne. He was so much loved and complimented by the people in Egypt because he received a thorough and perfect education. He was perfect in all phases of his life. He was so good in shooting arrows and fighting in martial arts but God did not consider him that time. Only when he became a thornbush, fleeing into the wilderness of Midian and becoming somebody's farm' servant… He became a shepherd, the most shabby person but God came to him and confessed His love to him saying, "My son, Moses, do you know how much I love you? Much more than the pharaoh of Egypt.?" When he was being brought up as a cedar, God did not even consider him but as he became a thorn in the wilderness, God confessed His love to him. His life, his character was covered with thorns. When he saw one Egyptian smiting an Israelite, he in turn beat him up and killed him. His character was so furious, so violent. As he fled away to the wilderness he also saw a boy shepherd despising and mistreating a girl shepherd that he could not leave them alone. So he shouted to them again. His character was like that but as he became thornbush, God embraced him. By receiving God's character and love he became completely transformed. He became another Jesus. So only when we are embraced by God, only when we are born of God through His love, only then can we be transformed. We can never be transformed with any other way. Only by being loved by God, only by being embraced by God and born of Him can we be transformed.
Next, as for Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, people say,” Ah! He was a father of faith. Abraham, a father of faith?” People adored him but he was not a person to be respected by others. In the beginning he was living in a very nice house, two storied house at that time, such a luxurious welfare house with tiles inside. So it cannot be compared to huge building of today. His wife Sarah, she was even carrying make-up cosmetics in her bag. They were living such a very luxurious life in their days. But one day God came to him and said, "Why don't you give up your wealth and follow Me? Leave your hometown and follow Me." "Yes. I will," was the answer. He gave up all his goods, all the positions and began to follow God. He became stranger in a gentile land. He became a pilgrim in a hidden land. He was mistreated by gentiles. He followed God. One day he even lost his wife. The gentiles took her away. When his wife died, he did not even have a land where to bury her body. He became so poor. They had nothing to eat so he went down to Egypt to get food for his household. His son Isaac had a hard time digging a well. But after digging, gentiles came and said, "Ah! This is ours and we have to take it.” So they had to give it to them. In different countries like Korea or America or in any other countries, if they dig a well they can easily get water. But in Palestine, even if they dug the soil so deep they could hardly get water. So before they can get water they had to go through so much trouble, so much hardship, so much difficulties and sacrifice. But as they found a well, the gentiles came and took it by force.
It's the same with us today. If there comes a flood, rice fields are destroyed but these people tell us to fix it though it was not our fault. We are so despised. That's why God loves us most.
What about his grandson Jacob? He also lived as a shepherd for twenty years in his uncle's house. Being mistreated, God loved him the most. So thornbushes are mistreated by others even until today.
Next, Elijah, John the Baptist, and Jesus. People say, “Ah! Elijah, John the Baptist, Jesus?” They were just truly thornbushes. People at that time called Elijah a country man. As to John the Baptist they said, he was a fanatic, and as for Jesus, a Beelzebub, a son of devil. They had no friend at that time. Even though there were many people at that time, nobody was willing to be friend with them. Everybody around them said, “Ah, you are a heretic, a fanatic. They even beheaded John the Baptist and crucified Jesus on the cross. That’s why God loved them so much and made them saviors of the world.
Next, David. People said, "Oh! King David." But he was also a thornbush who was despised by others and lived under the shadow of his brothers as the youngest one. His older brothers were so handsome, good looking, qualified to be the king of Israel. They were so good looking that even the prophet Samuel made a mistake thinking that one of his brothers would be the king. Because David the youngest one was not as good looking as his brothers he was most despised. In Israel, if anybody was a shepherd, nobody regarded him being the shabbiest job and the shabbiest person. If the father told the eldest to take care of the sheep, he would tell the next one to do it, then the second one would tell the third one to do it, so because David was the youngest one, he had to take care of his father’s sheep all the times. Taking care of the sheep in an open field, he was always exposed to all sorts of dangers. Cowboys rode on horses carrying lots of bags but at that time he had nothing and was completely exposed to dangers like being killed by lions or bears. How could David, a little boy destroy lion or bear? And there were lots of thieves. So even at night he could not sleep. He had no idea when to be killed by anybody. However, God despised all of his good looking brothers, came to him, the shabbiest, most despised one and embraced him then made him king of Israel. Truly our Father is looking for only thornbushes.
Next, Joseph. Joseph was such a good natured boy. As he saw his older brothers doing something wrong he was so sad. When he would tell them not to do it then they would beat him up. Because he was afraid that one of them might not go to heaven he told his father Jacob. He said, “Father, my brothers stole a big water melon from our neighbor’s garden. Please tell them not do it. What if they can’t go to heaven?” And if his father would tell them not to do it again just a few minutes later his brothers would call him and beat him up saying, “Why did you tell it to our Father?”  Because he was always beaten by them his face was always swollen. His brothers hated him so much that they sold him as a slave. At that time to be a slave is much even dreadful than dying. Why? Slaves were not even considered human but only a property. If any slave died then the master thought that he just lost one of his possessions. They just throw it out. So he was sold as a slave to Egypt, a place where he could not speak the language nor understand it. Mistreated, despised but yet he was so faithful to his master. But despite of being so loyal to him for many years, he was repaid with unfair dealing. He was put to jail without committing any sin at all. Through all of these, God followed him and confessed His love to him saying, “I love you most."  Then God made him the king of Egypt. Pharaoh was merely a king by name but the true kingly throne, kingly authority was in Joseph’s hands.
Next, Daniel and his three friends. People say, “Ah! Daniel” but he was only a thornbush. Being despised by all people in Babylon with a nickname Hebrew captive, they terribly mistreated and despised him. Yet they were living with fragrance of character of God. Although he became too old with gray hair, his fellow workers in the government did not even call Daniel Prime Minister but always Hebrew captive. If Daniel prayed, they would inform the King that he was praying to a different God. They always planned to kill Daniel. All his lifetime he was mistreated by others and carried the nickname Hebrew captive.
One day they were thrown to fire furnace to be burned. Once they were put in the lion’s den.  He could not pray freely. But God did not consider this. He came to Daniel even to the lion’s den and to his three friends even in the fiery furnace. God confessed His love for them. And God made Daniel the King of Babylon as king Darius was merely a king by name. The true throne, the true authority was in the hands of Daniel.
And Jesus and His twelve disciples. They were the shabbiest persons at that time because they were only fishermen. As they went to church nobody regarded them, as they were just fishermen, farmers, tax collectors, and nobody received and accepted them. Nobody considered them to speak in the church, nor in the synagogues, and teach lesson in the school. They were so despised having lots of imperfections in their character. They always fought with one another and forsaken by the community and by the people. Yet the second person of the Godhead, Jesus Himself, came to them. He disregarded even the King of Israel, the greatest leader of His church, and came to this despised people and said, “Why don’t you come with me to heaven?” Jesus came to embrace them.
Next, the Samaritan woman. She was not a prostitute but she was traded to switch her husband even six times who was living in the shadow of others with completely benumbed conscience. She was a completely forsaken thornbush. All the women, all the ladies, they go to the well to fetch water but she could not even go there because if she would, then everybody would run away. So she was just peeping at the house and when everybody went back home she would quickly run to the well to fetch water. Her life was just living under the shadow of others. But the God of heaven, Jesus, walked so many miles to meet her saying, “My daughter, I am the very Messiah.” He did not tell this fact to His disciples only to this Samaritan woman. So, she became the first missionary in her hometown.
Next, Mary, the prostitute. If the religion at that time had been a true religion that can transform sinners, Mary might never become a prostitute. Before, she also went to church to hear the sermons yet it had no power to change her heart. Those so called clergymen who professed to be righteous, they themselves made her commit adultery in order to arrest Jesus and destroy Him. They arrested her first and then they tried to destroy Jesus together with her. These clergymen, people without God in trying to destroy Jesus and Mary, they did whatever they wanted to arrest them on the spot. Then the clergymen brought her out to Jesus saying that according to the Law of Moses this kind of woman must be stoned to death. Despite being worse sinners than her committing more abominable sins, they tried to kill her. Why were people not change? Because the religion at that time lost their power to transform sinners, being corrupt. But without a word, Jesus started writing something on the ground. So all of the clergymen came closer to Jesus saying to themselves, “What is He writing?” Jesus started writing down all the sins of the earth, their secret sins in the heart which nobody knew except for themselves about. All their sins they committed secretly. They found their sins being exposed to the ground by Jesus. As they saw it, they lost their strength on their hands and dropped the stones and run away. Jesus said, “Anyone of you who have no sin at all, let him throw the stone at her first.”  From the oldest to the youngest one they all ran away. He said, “I do not condemn you either. Go and live a righteous life from now on.” Right at that moment she became a completely new person, she became an angel. She even forgot that she once was a prostitute. Sermons or speeches has no power to transform sinners. So she became an angel with a heart to only serve Jesus from that time on. All the male prophets fled away when Jesus was crucified. But Mary prepared for His funeral. With all the money she saved, she bought a very expensive perfume and poured it on the feet of Jesus. But the disciples rebuke her saying, “How come you are wasting so much money for nothing?” Jesus said to them, “Do not stop her, her act would be praised by people down through the ages.” You did not prepare for my death but she prepared everything for me. When all those arrogant male prophets fled away, she followed Jesus even on the cross. So when Jesus was resurrected she was the first person who saw Jesus then she spread the news of His resurrection. If she was a man she could have been the best disciple.
Next, Zacheus, the tax collector who collected money from his people and presented it to Rome, their enemy country. He was regarded as a traitor of his own country. He became great and was promoted yet he wanted his conscience to be cleansed. He wanted to be a clean person. Even though he tried to be a clean person, nobody acknowledged him. Everybody regarded him as a fool person. So he just gave up his effort to make his conscience clean as no one recognized him. But he had a great longing to be a clean person in the sight of God. This longing for God cannot be prevented, and cannot be destroyed by any human power. But every time he went to church, he was even more despised and rejected. So, he rather rejected going to church. One day he heard that a famous teacher was about to pass by in their town, called Jesus. He heard people say that Jesus loves fisherman and farmers, tax collectors and shabby people. From the mouth of the people, humor about him began to spread. And he thought to himself. “Oh, how can people like that be His disciples? But I also want to see Him even once. Ah, how can somebody like me see such a holy teacher? I can’t.” His longing to see Him was in his heart. Many days passed by and one day he heard a news that Jesus would pass by. Having a strong desire to see Him just once, he decided to see Him in a distance. So, when Jesus was about to pass by, he climbed up on a tree. He was a tax collector, having a high position in the office, but without thinking of his position and prestige, he climbed up a high tree in order to see Jesus just once.  Our Daddy says, “If anybody wants to see me, I will be pleased to meet him.” As he climbed up the tree, he saw a great multitude approaching. In the middle of them was standing a holy person Jesus. Looking at Jesus while he was approaching, he was fascinated by his face, his countenance was completely different from others. He had a strong desire to meet him but as if it was only a dream, having only attracted by his holy countenance, he watched him in absence of mind on top of the tree. As Jesus was approaching closer and closer, he thought that Jesus would just pass over, but Jesus was coming closer to him and came right below the tree. Jesus looking to him said, “Hello Zacheus, I’d like to stay one night in your house.” Oh! He was greatly surprised, there were many great people surrounding him, but it was true, that Jesus was suggesting him to stay one night in his house. Ah! He couldn’t believe the fact. He thought that it was a dream, but though he pricked his skin, it was not a dream. It was a reality. He was so amazed and he quickly came down and he bowed down before him saying “Oh! Lord, I have a million dollars at home. The five hundred dollars I am going to give to the poor and the rest I will pay back everybody from whom I collected too much and I will live only a holy life from now on according to your will.” Jesus said, “You and your family became saved.” Zacheus was saved? Never, do not be fooled by those people who say we are saved by believing Jesus all our lifetime. How many weeks do we have to go to church in order to be saved? Just four weeks? Meet God and be acquainted with Him, be friends with Him, and be one with Him. Then four weeks is enough? When Zacheus was climbing the tree he was not yet saved but when he came down he was saved. Do you believe this words of Jesus? Then how long did it take him to come down from the tree? Probably a few seconds. In a few seconds he was saved. Believe this fact. He was saved in a few seconds. Then who saved him? It was the love of Jesus that saved him. By His love we were saved. Even if we memorize doctrines for many years that kind of knowledge, and faith never gives salvation. Zacheus tried to live clean life with his conscience but he was not changed at all.
People today say, “Ah! That person had been in jail three times, ten times, thirteen times,” but if they come here they are completely transformed. Once I visited a prison. There was a person who had been there for fifteen times. He had been living in prison all his lifetime. There were pastors, Buddhists, good teachers, who came and visited them to give lecture. But none of the prisoners had ever been changed. When Pastors came to visit them they only laughed and abused them. However as they came here, they were transformed completely. People laugh at them but I pity those who are laughing at them. People when they fight against one another, some of them die. So some of them are put to jail. There, they regret so badly and say, “Ah! If I go back to the world I will not do the same thing anymore. They regret completely while they are in jail but when they come out nobody acknowledges them, even friends nor their families. Nobody wants to be friends with them. In the community, even in their home, they have nowhere to stand. Because they could not find jobs they commit the same mistakes again.
Once there was a thirty-year old man in the prison and I asked him, “Are you married?” “No” was the answer. “How come?” I said. Because I have been to this prison fifteen times so I have no time to get married. When I heard him saying that my heart was choked with pity for him. Who made him like that? Who made this kind of people like that? So, I visited prisoners and many of them say, “Oh, If I am released I will attend your meeting.”
While traveling I saw people being arrested or being dragged by policeman and tied up completely but I don’t know who has the bigger sin. The one who is dragging or the one being dragged. In most cases the one dragging is the most sinner. We should not despise those ex-convicts. We have to love them for them to become angels. There are many of our brethren who were like them but when they came here they were completely changed. They live so beautiful life and when I look at them they are so precious compared with the most precious jewels. I even feel giving up my life for them.
Since the time of Old Testament up to now, our Father embraces only those thornbushes and pours upon them the greatest love. So I have been conducting this meeting ninety times. Before coming to this meeting, I already know what kind of people would be present. So, as I come here on the first day, it is my desire to bow down to any one of you here. Why? Because I know that our Father chooses only thornbushes from here and there. When they are great in the world, when they have lots of money and great positions, our Father does not bring them here. But as they as they give up their positions, they become despised by the world. When they become almost useless persons then our Father brings them here. Those religious leaders, as they become despised by others, forsaken by their churches and by their organizations, those who always speak of the truth and correct principles our Father brought them here. Only those kinds of people are brought here. Because I know what kind of people are here I want to bow down to everyone. Even though you are poor as you gave up all your businesses, though you have many defects in your character, please do not be distressed but be happy.
Now, let me turn to the story of the bush again. The bush is forsaken and mistreated by other trees. When all the trees surrounding him stand so arrogantly despising him, all of a sudden they are surprised. Why? They found out that the bush though forsaken and despised starts bearing fruits. His fruits are even taken to the palace for a king. Oh! Their arrogance, their pride became completely broken to pieces. When they do not even think of bearing flowers or leaves this bush started bearing fruits already. Now his fruits are in the palace. So all those vines, great vines, pine trees, pears, and apple trees, they all come down to this bush and say to him, “Sir, Oh! Sir” It was the first time for him to hear those words. “Sir, how come you already bore fruits and now they took it to the palace for the king?” This humble bush speaks as before, “As you look at me, I am so shabby. I am such a shabby tree and probably God loves those who are shabby and humble trees. If you also want to be loved by God and be invited in the king’s table then, you can just go back and live a humble life like me. Throw away your pride and arrogance and be humble like me. That’s it.” Ah! He became the most powerful preacher in the universe. So all those trees go back home, to their places after saying “Amen, Amen." They also begin to humble themselves. Now, they start bearing fruits by receiving the sunlight of God. Ah! Do you say to yourself, “Because I am a thornbush God loves me and brought me here?” If you go back home you must go to those cedars pines, great vines, apple trees, pear trees and teach them that they must be humble like you and be loved by God. Exodus 3:2-6.
(Reader) “And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of the bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, ‘I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.’  So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him in the midst of the bush and said, ‘Moses, Moses!’ And he said ...’Here I am.’ Then He said, ‘Do not draw near the place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is a holy ground.’ Moreover He said, ‘I am the God of your Father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.
(Speaker) As Moses looked upon that bush it was covered with flame of fire, so he wondered ‘How come the flame does not go out even time passed by? How come it is not extinguished at all?’ So he came near to see what was going on the bush. Moses also did not consider the bush a tree. When he saw a big fire on the bush he told himself, ‘Ah! In a few minutes it will go out. If it would go on it will last only for five or ten minutes. So ten minutes passed by, twenty, thirty but the fire was not extinguished at all. What was more surprising was that even the flame was burning so furiously, the bush was not burned at all. Then he came near to investigate what was going on there. As he approached the bush, Ah! What a surprise, the King of the universe, God was speaking to him inside the bush saying, ‘Moses, do not come near. Even though you despised this bush, this bush already became one with me. If you also want to be a friend of this bush, you must take off your shoes of pride and arrogance. I am the holy God of Israel, the holy God of Jacob.’ Moses was so surprised and he immediately took off his shoes and he humbled himself to become one with the bush. As he became humble as the bush, God also befriended Moses. That’s why Moses became such a great man of God. All the parables in both Old and New testaments must be fulfilled in our days, in these last days.
People of the world studied this work first. Those people in big churches, those theologians, they said to one another, “Ah! That Park Myung Ho’s people, we can just wait for them to be destroyed in six months. They have lots of heresy but in just six months they will disappear.” One year passed but this work was not extinguished. Two years, three years passed but these people were not extinguished at all. The fire of the Holy Spirit keeps on burning. Then they said, ‘Ah! It will disappear after two years but after two years it did not disappear. On the contrary, this message is spreading even to the ends of the world. These days the video tapes and audio tapes are spreading rapidly to the ends of the world. And these books are translated in many different languages.
There had been many heretics. As they start forming a group they also start fighting with one another. They are destroyed by themselves. However, these people instead of being destroyed they grew bigger in number and are now spreading this message of God’s love to the ends of the world. They are changed. So disobedient children turned to be most honorable to their parents. One of the known churches in the world sent a very knowledgeable pastors to this meeting to investigate what kind of message is this. The pastors themselves do not want to come here but the government leaders sent them here. As they first came who was speaking then? Ah! What a surprise! God was speaking here. They wrote everything I spoke here. They were even writing my coughs. They were trying to make a thorough investigation of everything I said. I told them to ask questions on the last day but they did not have manners. They just showed up to my room every break time saying, “How come you said these things this hour?” The Spirit of Prophecy says that the Holy Spirit will be given to us in such a manner, how come you said like that?” Then I would explain to them that, “It is written here like this and they would say, ‘Oh! I see, I see. I am sorry.’ They just went back down. After next hour, they would come up to my room again saying, “Ah! You made such a mistake. How come you said that?” Then, I would explain again, “It was like this, like this.” Then they said, “I see, I see. I am sorry.” They just went back down again. A few days later they began to pour tears saying, “Ah! We did not know that. We did not know that God is here. We want to share the same faith with this people.” After the last hour they said to me, ‘Ah! Teacher Park you spoke twelve hours today’ but at that time I denounced pastors most severely saying that all the pastors are sons of vipers. On the last day they were supposed to give report to their church but after the meeting they even came to my house. They had lots of humors. They heard that Teacher Park was about to run away to America after earning millions of dollars from people.
As they came to my house and entered my room, they were so surprised. My room is full of ups and down and my door is covered with plastic vynile. As they saw my house they burst into crying. They took pictures of my house and they went back to their church to give reports. They said, “We have seen, we have attended Teacher Park’s meeting. Now, we have seen that his life is the same as that of Jesus. He is living just like Jesus and his messages are right, a perfect message from heaven. They gave that kind of report to the highest leaders. As the leaders heard that those people they sent had become one with these people, they said, ‘Oh! What a big mistake and trouble.’ So they called the pastors again. When all the pastors were gathered in a big hall they told the pastors who attended the seminar, ‘You don’t have to say anything, only this, just say that Park Myung Ho is a heretic, a fanatic. But they said, ‘No! We have seen him. We have attended his meeting. You sent us there and we found out that that his message is right, a message from heaven. He is living a life like Jesus. How come you are forcing us to give wrong reports.’ Then the highest leader said, ‘If you refuse then we are going to fire you.’ So they were fired. The worldly people, those people in worldly businesses they cannot do this thing. Those pastors know why they came here. The leaders sent them here by giving them money. And upon coming they found out what is going on here. As they were about to give right report to them they won’t receive their reports. Jesus was assassinated like that, but they didn’t care. They did not listen to any of His testimonies. As those pastors follow this message we have to give them the best treatment and respect. If we would follow God we must take off both shoes. If we still use the other shoe of the world then we cannot follow Him. As they came here they found out that the God of Abraham, the God of Jacob, God of Isaac is speaking to people.
This fire of the Holy Spirit can never be extinguished by human power. Even this Park Myung Ho dies a thousand times, this message will never be extinguished but rather will reach even the ends of the world. God’s purpose, God’s plan must be fulfilled. Some of you are here to investigate what this message is all about, to find fault. No matter what purpose you have come here I hope you listen and carefully investigate, correctly investigate. Some people wrote so many bad things about this message in their magazine without attending the meeting first. Some of them listened for one or two days but others had never attended the meeting yet they just wrote wrong reports in their magazines. They will be fairly judged in the last days. The grace of God would not be given to them anymore. They themselves rejected the grace of God.
During the time of warning we will witness things uncommon and surprising. The Lord will work in a manner very much out of the common order of things and in a way contrary to any human planning. The three Angels Message will be proclaimed like this as the time comes for it to be given with greatest power. The Lord will work through humble instruments leading the mind of those who consecrate themselves to His service. The last laborers will be qualified by the unction of His Spirit than by the training of literary institution. Although people did not go to theological school they will be controlled by the Holy Spirit and they will complete the work of God. In the last days, men of high attainments in the world will not be leaders and those of human ability, natural intellect will not be able to stand at the head of this work. At that time church leaders will be changed. Few will take part in this solemn work. God will raise up and exalt among us those who are taught rather by the unction of the Holy Spirit than by the outward training of scientific institutions.
In time of Pentecost, they were not greatly educated in the world. Their Teacher Jesus was also ignorant and His disciples were uneducated but they were rather taught by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Prophecy says that in the last days also it will be the same.  I am not saying that only ignorant people can be used by God. Scholars also can be used by God. Men of high position also can be used by God.
People like Moses, Paul, those who put away all false knowledge of the world and receive the true knowledge of heaven will be used even for grater efficiency. I hope you put away everything like Moses and Paul. Take off both of your shoes and men of high arrogance will be made low and they will find that the power is not with men but with God. If you become a thornbush before God then the power of the Holy Spirit that kindle upon us will never be extinguished to the ends of the world. I learned not from any human teacher, I only learned everything from my Teacher, my Real Father.
I wonder why God gave such a great glory to a raven to carry food for Elijah. There are many beautiful birds like sparrows, doves, peacocks, swans then why did God give the glory to a raven? Raven is one of the ugliest birds but I found out why God gave him so much glory. Because ravens are just like forsaken thornbush. In Korea if ravens come and sing from a tree people passing by throw stones at them. ‘You unlucky birds, why do you make such a noise there? You all get away.’ They sing to make people happy but people throw stones at them. As they fly and their faces fall upon the head of a person, if that person rides a boat then the boatman does not give him a ride saying that he is an unlucky person. ‘If I let him ride, the boat might sink.’ People despised ravens so terribly but why God gave glory to a raven in carrying food for Elijah?
Prophecy books in western and eastern countries foretold that one of the smallest countries, Korea, will receive glory from God to save the world in the last days. Then why did God give such a glory to Korea to save the world. Because Korea is a forsaken thornbush.  There are many big countries like Germany, America, Japan, Russia then, why did God give the glory of saving the world to Korea? Korea standing in the middle of big countries was always mistreated and attacked by surrounding countries. When people were about to harvest their crops from the field, then the surrounding countries came and took away everything. So it resulted in eating the skin of pine trees and grass plants in the mountain. Korea had been attacked for almost one thousand times by other countries. Enemies from the North, South, West, attacked Korea for over nine hundred times. There is a saying that a tree cannot stand if it is beaten up by others over ten times.  Korea had been attacked by other countries for over nine hundred times but still standing up to now. Because God has protected her.
In the past, people in South Korea suffered so much starvation that’s why every time they meet each other they ask, ‘Did you eat anything? Americans say, Hey! How are you?, Good morning!, Good afternoon! But Korean people, they greet each other by saying, Did you eat anything? Why? Because they suffered too much starvation and if you think about their greeting and its meaning you cannot help but shed tears. That’s why God loves Korea so much. Korea had been attacked by other countries almost one thousand times but God protected this country. This country is really a forsaken thornbush. In America and other countries if foreigners are asked what country they came from they proudly say, Oh! I am from Japan but now we can also say, I am from Korea. I belong to a glorious people of God. We are glorious people. Nobody in the world can be saved in the last days without accepting our Father’s love through you. God gives such a glorious mission to us. Only when we give this message of love to the whole world can we save them. We are loved by God being forsaken thornbushes.
When Moses was being brought up as a cedar in Egypt, God did not consider him at all. When he became a shepherd in Midian God embraced him. So like Moses, we must forsake our high position in the world and become thornbushes.

Now, I will teach you how to become thornbushes.
First - Come down to low position like Moses. He had been a cedar in Egypt but he cast away all the worldly glories and high position then came down to humble state of a forsaken thornbush in Midian.
Second - Go to the wilderness of the country and live like Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Elijah, Enoch, John the Baptist, and Jesus. Thornbushes cannot live in the streets, they must live in the mountain. If you want to become a thornbush you must leave your city life, go to the mountain and live with God.
Third - After going to the country, do not attempt to become a silly physician trying to cure others when you cannot cure your own soul. Do not run a missionary school to teach others. It is deceiving others in the eyes of God.  Just go to the country and make friends with God and be cured by Him. You must walk with God first.
Fourth - As you live in the country, let God teach you completely and be friends with Him.
Fifth - After being cured by God and finished learning from Him, you can just wait for His command to go forth. Never run out on your own without receiving His command.
Sixth - Once you receive God’s command to go forth, with loyalty, carry out the work which God has entrusted to you. No matter how and what powers of darkness interrupt you, do not abdicate until the end. Then, you will receive the prize from the Lord who will declare, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; You were faithful over a few things . . . receive great rewards. (Matt. 25:1). “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”  (2 Timothy 4:7-8). Be one of those who will shout ‘Hallelujah’ and sing the song of victory. So you have to become a thornbush for God to give you the glorious crown then the fire of the Holy Spirit will keep burning in you until the end. Then He will put upon you for eternity the golden crown of righteousness so that you will all become thornbushes, the ones that will burn and shine the light to the ends of this earth. May that fire of glory spread to the end of the world.

Amen!
