REGENERATION AND SANCTIFICATION IN NATURE

ow many days have passed now? Today is the 4^th day. Are your hearts now beating with the life of heaven, and are you happy and joyful? The people around you are saying that they’re so happy and that they can’t even sleep at night. They’re saying that they have met our Real Daddy and are changing. They’re so happy. They’re smiling and dancing– but you, you don’t have that happiness or joy. Others are transformed and dancing, and they’re saying that they can’t sleep at night. But you don’t have this overflowing happiness in your heart.

When you listen to the message, it sounds correct, but why don’t you have that happiness? There’s nothing wrong with the messages, everything seems correct. But why isn’t your heart like the people around you? And why are you not filled with joy? Perhaps God has forsaken you. Perhaps the Holy Spirit has not come to you….But please do not worry. Jesus said that you are trees and He said that He Himself was a tree. He said, “I’m a tree and you are the branches.” We are all different kinds of trees that will live in our Father’s paradise.

Apple trees, date trees, and pear trees – they smile when they become regenerated and sanctified. But do fig trees smile? There’s no flower or smile or laughter. That’s why they’re called figs. They have no flower. They just sit there quietly. They don’t smile or laugh. But they bear some of the best fruits.

Apples, pears, and peaches – when you peel off the skin and throw away the pit, there’s not much to eat. But with the fig, you can eat the skin and everything inside. You eat it whole. When we go to heaven and sit at the silver table, you’ll be eating figs again. Others may be happy and joyful, but even if you don’t feel that way, don’t worry because you are like the fig tree. You will bear better fruits.

Once there was a stingy man in Seoul who used to sell dates. He wanted to make a lot of money, so he went down to the countryside to see how the date trees were doing. It was early spring, so the date trees should have been regenerated and sanctified, with flowers and leaves already blossomed and sprouted. But when this stingy date seller went to see them in the countryside, they all looked dried and dead. While all the other trees had leaves and flowers of regeneration and sanctification, the date trees didn’t have any leaves at all. Date trees usually bear the leaves of regeneration very late when all the other trees already have leaves that have been dancing with regeneration long beforehand.

This stingy, selfish date seller in Seoul saw that all the other trees had leaves and flowers but the date trees were all dried and dead. “Oh, I see. This year all the date trees are dead. I’ll invest all my money and buy all the date trees in the country and sell the mat a most expensive price.” He got a loan and bought all the dates throughout the country when they were the most expensive. He stocked them in his warehouse and said, “Since all the date trees are dead, I will keep these and sell them when they are most expensive.” He went back to Seoul filled with selfishness and greed. But the date trees had a meeting. “Let’s teach that stingy, greedy date seller a lesson.” So after he left, all the date trees started to bear the leaves of regeneration and fruits and flowers of sanctification. That year they bore an abundance of dates. And it was said that the stingy man from Seoul went completely broke. Do you know why date trees bear leaves and flowers so late? It’s because they are so hard. That’s why they say in Korea that people who have a stubborn heart and are hardhearted are like date trees. Those whose hearts and characters are firm and strong like those dates trees may not be so quick with the celebrating, singing and dancing, but when they bear fruits, they certainly bear the most abundant fruits. So don’t worry and just be happy. Those who so easily dance and sing while they are here also tend to easily fall when they go back home. But those who listen quietly without showing any reaction will never fall.

There’s a saying that a room that gets hot quick gets cold quick. Once I went to visit our prophetic school in Mageundam. In the evening it was very cold. I was rather worried because I get cold easily in the winter and I thought, “Oh, if it’s so cold now, it’ll get colder as the evening progresses.” But as the night passed, it began to get warmer and by the time it was morning, it was burning hot! So I asked one of the teachers what was wrong with the room. “How is it that in the evening it was so cold but as the night progressed it got hotter and hotter?” This teacher replied, “Once you warm up this room, it lasts for three days.”

There are many people who sing and dance and say that they’re so happy, but when they go back home, they’re empty and they collapse. They stumble and fall. But those who just listen quietly never stumble when they go back home. So even if the people around you are happy and they sing and dance, don’t worry. Do you all believe that the King of the universe is your Real Father who begot you? Then that’s all that matters. You have become a tree with deep roots. All you have to do is be rooted in the truth. So don’t worry. Though you are like the date tree or the fig tree, you will bear the best fruits.

If you look at the strong oak trees, they produce leaves very late just like the date trees. But once the leaves appear, even during the winter those leaves don’t fall off until the new leaves appear in the spring. Other leaves have fallen and are so dry that they crumble to pieces, but the leaves on the oak trees that appeared the latest remain on the tree until the following spring when it’s time for the new leaves to appear. But those leaves that come first early in spring all fall early in winter. Just because you don’t feel joy or happiness, and just because you don’t feel like dancing right now, don’t worry about it. If you firmly believe that Real Daddy is your Father who begot you, you have nothing to worry about and can rejoice.

Once there was an apple tree. It was a very cold winter day and the owner of the apple tree approached it and said, “Apple tree, I really want to eat an apple. Will you give me an apple?” He asked very nicely. After a few weeks, he went back, but there were no apples on the tree. “Oh, what’s wrong with me? I forgot to give this tree some fertilizer.” So he went over to the fertilizer pile and got some fertilizer. “Now it will bear fruits because I gave it fertilizer.” After a couple of weeks, this owner went to check but the apple tree just stood there with no fruits. “Hey, what’s wrong with me? I forgot to give it water.” So he went to the reservoir and gave the tree plenty of water. “Now that I have given it fertilizer and water, it will bear many apples.” But after a couple of weeks, when the owner went to check the tree, it just stood there bare and empty. “What’s wrong with this tree, it needs to get whipped!” He brought a stick and began punishing the tree by hitting it. “Now that it has been punished, it will surely come to its senses. Now I’m sure it will start bearing fruits.” But when he went to check a few weeks later, though it had been punished so severely, it remained empty and bare. The owner became so angry that he brought an axe and chopped the tree down.

What did this tree need? Not water or fertilizer, it needed the sun. When it receives the sun in the spring and summer, even if you don’t give it much water or fertilizer, even if you tell the tree not to bear fruits, it will smile and bear beautiful fruits. Later it will bear so much fruits that you will have to support its branches.

This fertilizer represents Jesus who came down to this earth and died for us. The water represents the Holy Spirit and the sun represents the heavenly Father’s love. Do you know why those people go to church all their lives but are not regenerated and sanctified? What do they say? They say, “Jesus, Jesus! Lord, Lord!” They always cry out to Jesus and the Lord and they always ask for the Holy Spirit. But who do they not call on? They did not call our Real Father and they did not seek His love. But when people come here, they change right away. They become regenerated and sanctified and bear many leaves and flowers. Why? Because, of what? The light of the Sun shines on their souls. Did you come to a good place? Yesterday, you were picking up your bags and conflicted about whether you should leave or stay, but I’m so thankful you decided to stay. You really made a good decision.

The churches in the world, all they do is cry out to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. One time, some church members decided to live deep in the countryside. They were city folks who went there and decided to farm though they didn’t know much about farming. But they weren’t able to harvest anything and ended up leaving the countryside empty-handed. They had planted rice paddies and though water was in abundance in the mountains, they lacked sunlight there. No matter how much water and fertilizer they poured into the paddies, without sunlight, the rice stalks grew tall but there were no grains. You need the sun for the rice grains to grow big and plump. So even though you lack water and lack manure, if the sun shines strongly, then the rice plant may be short but it will still bear beautiful grains.

Even though you may have less of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, if you just receive our Real Father’s love, it’s guaranteed that you’ll be regenerated and sanctified. People who always call out for Jesus and the Holy Spirit are doing so in vain, they will never bear the fruits of regeneration.

When raising plants, you need a combination of the three elements: nitrogen, phosphoric acid, and kali, as well as the sun, water, and air. This formula of elements is needed to raise plants. Likewise, there is a heavenly formula that we need for our souls to bear the fruits of regeneration and sanctification. They don’t just appear from thin air. Even when we grow things which we end up eating, all the conditions have to be right. Do you think just calling on Jesus’ name will resolve everything? When the fruits of your character have to be grown, do you think it just happens automatically and without any effort? You have all been planted in the heavenly orchard to become the fruits borne in the hands of heaven’s Owner. Truly you are fortunate in meeting this Owner! But if you leave this orchard, then you’ll be in big trouble.

(Teacher draws on the chalkboard)Here is a fruit tree. On this tree, there are leaves and there are fruits. There are both leaves and fruits on the tree. They live together from spring to fall. But when the owner comes, he only picks the fruit and puts them in the basket. He doesn’t even look at the leaves. How sad it is, isn’t it? Yes, it’s sad. Can you believe it? They lived in the same tree, on the same branches. They received the same sunlight, water, and fertilizer. If anything, the leaves came out first and worked so hard for the fruits to come out. The fruits would only come out much later. The leaves came up early and worked so diligently. They even “spoke in tongues” as they swayed and swirled on the branches whenever the winds blew. But the owner came and only picked the fruits. The fruits couldn’t even speak in tongues or anything, only hanging on the branches mute and quiet. But the gifted leaves were left behind and only the fruits were chosen.

Must you become leaves or fruits? This is a lesson I learned while lying on a thick bed of leaves in the mountains and meditating about nature. We must become fruits. And so these leaves are so upset with the mistreatment that they fall to the ground and roll about in tears. Then later these leaves become like mulch for next year’s fruits as they die and disappear for eternity. But these fruits, even if they fall to the ground, they can live again. Did you ever hear about fruits that die? Even if the fruit is dropped and covered with dirt, it will live and it will sprout. They live for eternity while leaves, once they fall, they die forever. We must be fruits.

Then, how does one become either fruits or leaves? Leaves come out early and start waving around, fanatically making noises and speaking in tongues. They show themselves off and are so clamorous. But though they are on the same tree hanging on the same branches, they only drink the water without bearing any life, wasting its existence in vain. There’s no life in them. However, the fruits may appear late, but they drink the life sap from the tree, and because they drink the life sap, they become the seeds of life.

People believe in the same God and the same Jesus. But those who appeared first only clamor about, screaming and boasting, speaking in tongues and dancing about. And yet they have no life, only continuously drinking those futile, lifeless doctrines. They came out early but have nothing to show for it. However, the group from the Upper Room came out so late, but they drank the life sap from the same God and the same Jesus. What is our Father’s life? It’s love. It’s the reason why you bear fruits immediately when you come here. Is there love in your heart that you never had before in all your life? Is there peace? Is there joy? Those are the fruits of the Holy Spirit. I hope that you will continue to drink this sap of life even when you return to your homes, to drink it until you go to heaven. Don’t ever drink those lifeless doctrines ever again or else you may end up as a leaf.

The fruits may grow but not all of them bear complete fruits. Sometimes while growing, they fall off the branches. Look at persimmons, they fall off. Why? You have to hold on to the branches very tight and continue receiving the sap of life. If you don’t hold on tightly, then you will fall even before the leaves have fallen. If that happens, you’re no better than leaves. I hope that all of you will become eternal fruits that the owner picks when he comes to harvest. May you not become leaves that roll around on the ground and die.

Then who is the King of heaven and the universe? How many are there? Only one. Who is He? He is our Real Father. And what does our heavenly Father only accept and give out? He only takes love and gives out love. He is the God of love. Have you become royalty coming here? Who begot you? Because the King of the universe begot you, you are all royalty. Why? What did you eat? You ate love, our Real Father’s love. So there’s no need for you to wait to be seated at the silver table in heaven; you’re already sitting at that table eating the heavenly food here. That’s why you are royalty. (Teacher draws on the chalkboard) This is a queen bee and this is a worker bee. The worker bee lives for little more than a month. It works day and night whether it’s raining or windy. It just does its work and leaves after a month. The queen doesn’t even work. It just flies around. The worker bee lives for forty days and the queen bee lives for more than 2,520 days. The worker bee only lives for a month. The queen bee lives eternally compared to the worker bee. Do you want to be a worker bee or a queen bee?

[But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood.] (1Pet 2:9) You are what? A royal priesthood. You are royalty. Then how can one become a queen bee? How does one become a worker bee? Someone might say, “Oh, the eggs of the queen bee are big and the eggs of the worker bee are small.” Is that true? There are many people here who take care of bees, who harvest honey. So I can’t lie. The eggs are the same. They are the same exact eggs. The difference is that if an egg is fed royal jelly, it becomes a queen, and if it’s fed sweet honey, it becomes a worker bee. So depending on what it eats, it becomes a queen bee or a worker bee. The queen bee will live long, almost eternally compared to the worker bee that will live for only a short period and die.

In the same way, if you look in Jeremiah 31:27, He said that in the last days in the church on Earth, there will be “the seed of the beast and the seed of man.” And who is man? It is written in Genesis1:26, [Let Us beget man in Our image.]When it says “man,” it is speaking of those who have God’s image. Those who don’t have God’s image, it doesn’t matter if they’re pastors, priests, or the pope, they’re all beasts. I hope that you will become the “man” who bears the image of God. People who are like the heavenly King are also the royalty of heaven. Who is beast then? It is Satan, the devil, that serpent of old. Here we have the seed of the beast and the seed of royalty. What’s the difference? Those who eat what the heavenly King eats the food of kings, become heavenly royalty. Those who eat the erroneous falseness of the beast become the seed of the beast. So depending on what you eat, you will become a part of the royal family of heaven or a beast of this earth.

But look at the people in the world. Instead of eating God’s love, which is life, they eat those lifeless doctrines and false teachings of the beast, that devil. And that’s why they have all become seeds of the beast. Have you come here to a good place? But you didn’t come here on your own. Our Daddy, He carried you here. So when you return back home, do not ever eat the food of the beast ever again. Jesus said that the food we eat on this earth is the food of pigs; when the prodigal son left the father, he just ate the food of pigs. Do not eat the food of beasts, those false doctrines, ever again. I hope that you will only eat the royal jelly of our Real Daddy’s love. Then you will live eternally and never die.

So this worker bee, all day and night it only thinks about work and what to eat. Those churches in the world only worry about their businesses. Do the people here in the Upper Room worry about business or not? No. All year long the people in the churches have discussions and meetings. Here, even though we’re an international group, we don’t have discussions or meetings. Once, a pastor from America came and when he heard that we were having a general assembly meeting, he thought people would raise their hands and give ideas, and we would hold a discussion for several days. But after reading from God’s Word, giving a message for an hour, that was it, end of the meeting. That was the whole of our annual meeting.

But this worker bee worries about his business all day long and all his life and then dies. The queen bee doesn’t worry about working. Instead, all it does is lay eggs. That’s why the people in the Upper Room just give birth to living souls. But what do the workers do? They lay smelly things. All of you have become the royalty of heaven. Because you ate what? You ate the royal jelly of our Real Daddy’s love, the very love which our Real Father accepts and eats. You have all become royalty. So I hope that you’ll only eat this royal jelly and never again eat those false doctrines – the food of the beast.

Let’s look at Ephesians 4:22-24. […that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.]

(Teacher draws on the board)These are the eggs of silkworms. I’m sure there are many people here who grow silkworms to make silk. The government used to make announcements for people to raise silkworms to make silk. They could take as many as they wanted. Anyway, when the silkworms are hatched from the eggs, they are these little white larvae; they are completely black and so small. You can’t even tell which part is the head and which is the tail. And you can’t feed it. So you have to cut off the leaves and sprinkle it and they will eat that. After eating for a while, they grow a little more and then stop eating. They lift up their heads and start their fasting prayer to God. I don’t know who told them to do that and whose sermon they heard, but if you listen to what they’re praying about, they’re saying, “O God, I have to grow bigger but I can’t grow anymore because of my skin. Please give me the power to take off my skin.” Sothe silkworm prays and receives an answer and sheds a layer of skin, this layer of skin of sin. And after he takes it off, he becomes so happy and starts to eat again. And he grows even bigger, and then he starts to fast and pray again. “O God, it isn’t good enough, please take off my skin again.” Then he sheds its skin again and again up to four times. So, since he took off his skin of sin four times, now he has become a senior of a theological school. Since he has shed his skin four times, shouldn’t he be proud of himself? Yes, he should be proud of himself.

Look at the humans in the world. They aren’t even able to shed their skin even once but they’re so proud. However, this little silkworm has taken off his skin of sin four times. He should be proud and lift his head high, but this silkworm doesn’t know how to be proud. He just shakes his head, “Oh, it isn’t good enough. No! It’s not enough. This isn’t it.” He keeps on examining himself, and then one day he makes up his mind. “I must make for myself a prayer room. I need to pray and fast for a long time.” So he builds his own prayer room. He stops eating and drinking. Just like in Daniel 1:8, he has made a resolution, a determination to go in this cocoon and only pray. He begins a prayer meeting for himself.

And while diligently building this prayer room, someone outside knocks on the door. “Who is it?”“Mr. Silkworm, it’s me!” It is his old girlfriend. “I’m sorry, please go away. It’s been a long time now that I’ve crucified all affection and greed on the cross.” And he doesn’t even open the door for her. “I’m sorry, please forget about me.” So his girlfriend leaves in tears.

A few moments later, “Knock-knock!” “Who is it?” “It’s me, your friend. You remember the money that I borrowed from you, the $500? Here it is.” “Just take it. I gave up all my selfishness and greed. You can keep the money.”

Even if his girlfriend comes, she is asked to leave. Even if his friend comes to repay his money, he doesn’t care. He doesn’t change his mind. He has made a firm determination and will not yield. I hope that you will all become like this silkworm and make a firm resolve.

So after praying for a long, long time in his prayer room, just as he eagerly desired, he becomes an angel with white wings. He becomes a white angel that can fly. Did he receive an answer to his prayer? Yes, he received an answer. You will go to heaven in the same way. But those who cannot make a firm resolve, who cannot crucify their affections and greed on the cross, will never be able to go to heaven.

There are some silkworms that mistakenly defecate in their house; such silkworms fail in their goal. We should never make any mistakes and defecate in our lives and characters. Like the holy prayer place, we should also be holy. So at last, this silkworm becomes an angel that flies in the sky. No matter how large this silkworm may grow to be, no matter how much it eats, what does it do? It only defecates. But this butterfly can fly around here and there. The silkworm must chew on something, a leaf or a bark, it just keeps chewing and defecating. But the butterfly flies around this flower and that flower. Though it sits on so many flowers, it does not chew on or harm any flower, all it does is help flowers to pollenate. It becomes a worker that helps flowers regenerate and sanctify.  

So please ask yourselves, “Am I a silkworm or a butterfly?” Please search yourselves as you ask that question. If all you can do is chew on your husband or wife, or chew on the brethren around you and cause them pain, then you’re still a silkworm with only smelly things coming out from your characters. So the butterfly goes here and there and it can meet many people but it doesn’t hurt anyone. It will not harm anyone but instead, it gives out life. It shares life to others.

Nature is our lesson book. It’s written in the Bible, “You lazy being! Go and learn from the ants.” But I would like to say, “You foolish people who do not know how to be regenerated and sanctified, learn from the silkworm!” Even bugs that can’t talk shed their skin four times, and still that’s not enough for them as they continue to pray and fast, to end up becoming angels. But how is it that those people in the world that have believed in Jesus all their lives are not able to shed off their skin of sin even once. I hope that you will daily shed this skin of sin. Not every meeting but every single day. That is the only way you can go to the eternal heaven.

Those who say, “Oh, I attended the seminar many, many times,” shouldn’t be proud of that. Just as I told you before, those who attended the seminar many times are arrogant and they have become critics. “Ah, this hour we will listen to this.” And when it’s time to watch the video taped messages, they say, “Teacher is not going to come out this hour, so let’s go to sleep.” Will my flesh, will my body change you? It’s the words from my lips that will really change you. Video hours are the most important and that’s why I don’t come out personally; I come out during the hours when you are most sleepy or not paying much attention. People don’t realize that. So whether you watch a video or listen to me directly, I hope you will listen to me carefully that you may shed your skin of sin everyday, during every hour, to eventually fly to heaven. But now you have all become critics and think that you know everything. You say. “It’s the same thing, the same story.” You go to the small seminars and you say, “That speaker is so-and-so and she’s so-and-so….” You have become so stubborn and there’s no way for the Word to inter into their hearts. We must cut off the outer layer of our hearts and receive the Word. The Word must be the flesh that newly grows around our open hearts.

I was originally born in the family of a farmer so I used to farm as well. Last year, there was an unused plot of land and it seemed like a waste, so I decided to plant watermelons there so we could enjoy them in the summer. I gathered all our brethren that lived below and suggested we plant watermelons, so they came and we dug holes and put in fertilizer. We put in chicken manure and mulch, mixed them all together. We put fine dirt and made all these holes for the watermelon seeds. Now if you want to eat watermelons, what do you need? Who do you have to invite? You have to invite watermelon seeds. You have to convince them to grow and bear fruits. So I took the watermelon seeds and gave them a sermon. Watermelon seeds are so full of sin that they’re black. They’re so stubborn and hardhearted, crafty and cunning, without much of a conscience. So I gathered those fastidious watermelon seeds together and gave a sermon. “You watermelon seeds, will you listen to me? Please listen to me. Don’t fall asleep.” I woke them all up. “I will regenerate and sanctify you and make long vines of regeneration grow out from you that are thousands of times longer than your small bodies. And you will bear the fruits of sanctification hundreds and thousands of times larger than you. Will you say, ‘Amen’?” Are you watermelon seeds? I’m talking about the watermelon seeds right now.  

But never mind saying, “Amen,” these watermelon seeds began to laugh in derision, saying, “How ridiculous! Look at us! We’re so hard and so small. But you’re saying there will be vines of regeneration and fruits of sanctification hundreds, thousands of times larger than us that will sprout from us?” They all started laughing amongst themselves and didn’t even listen to me. They just looked at one another all black and shiny, and only laughed at me. How frustrating. But I was persistent and I spoke to them again. “If you can’t believe me and you can’t say ‘Amen,’ then will you just entrust your hearts and bodies to me? I will take responsibility and make you bear the vines of regeneration and the fruits of sanctification. Will you do that?” And they agreed to that, so now we had an agreement.

After finally convincing the watermelon seeds to trust me, I went to the well and brought some water. Then I threw the watermelon seeds into the bowl of water. As they went in, they said, “What? You said you were going to regenerate and sanctify us, but instead you drown us and throw us here inside the water.” They started to complain as they bobbled up and down, up and down. Later, they were very angry as they settled at the bottom of the bowl. In the evening, when I took them out of the bowl, they were a mess, furious and swollen with tears and mucus. “You said that you’d make us grow big and bear huge fruits, but how could you treat us like this!”

Regardless of their complaining, since they agreed to commit themselves to me and I guaranteed that they would bear fruits, in order to fulfill my promise, I took them into a room and wrapped them in a damp towel. After that I set them under a blanket in a warm room. Then they started to yell at me, “Hey, it’s so stuffy here!” They had been crying all day long and were so upset at me, but I threw them under a blanket in a towel. They were so frustrated and made a big uproar. “I don’t need regeneration and I don’t want sanctification. I don’t need anything. Let us out!” They cried and yelled all night long.

The next morning, I took them out and looked at them. All of a sudden they were saying, “Hey, look at me! What’s wrong with me? I have a tail! You have a tail too!” They all had white tails coming out from their rear. Oh, how embarrassing. They were all so embarrassed. “Oh, what a shame. Look at me, I have a tail!” Then I took them to the field, to the pits and holes that we had dug. I took two or three of them and I put them in the furrows so that they could live the country life. But when I put them in there, they said, “Oh, it smells like chicken manure. It smells so bad here!” They forgot that they were embarrassed. “Get me out of here!” For many days they struggled like this to get out, and finally they did. As they looked up, the sun was shining on them, saying, “Good job! You made it!” Without even realizing it, true leaves of regeneration had sprouted.

“What happened to me? Where is my tail?” The tail was in the ground and his tail became roots and his arms became two leaves that spread out into a V for victory. “Finally, I’m victorious. I did it.” From then on, the vines of regeneration came out hundreds and thousands of times longer than the seed it originally was. That small seed not even an inch long grew vines that were many feet long. Later, big leaves came out of these vines. Then this big watermelon came out.

At first, the owner’s words seemed so unbelievable. To the stubborn-hearted, not even a drop of water would enter their hearts. But because the watermelon seeds committed themselves to the owner, they became regenerated and sanctified.

There are times when you believe the words that I say here, but there are times when you just can’t, you cannot even bring yourself to say, “Amen.”Since you can’t believe what I’m saying, how you can say “Amen.” But even if you can’t believe it, if you only commit yourselves to our Real Daddy, then that’s it, that’s all you need to do. How can you say, “Amen” when you can’t believe? No one can say, “Amen” when the belief isn’t there. How can you force yourself to believe something you can’t believe? But even if you can’t believe what I say, just commit yourselves to Real Daddy. That’s all you need to do.

Next, I live in Songni Mountain. Every year the mountain birds would come down and have their young under the roof of my house. Last year, even the squirrels and chipmunks had their young in the bathroom and closet outside. So the birds would come and lay their eggs. One time, I gave a sermon to the bird’s eggs.

“Hey eggs, listen to me. I made this nice house here. I made this nice storage closet where the rain and snow won’t get in and to protect you from the wind. I’ll make it so that you can fly way up into that blue sky. Not only that, you’ll become angels that sing as you fly. Say ‘Amen.’” Why you are saying “Amen”? Are you the birds? I was talking about the birds. I told them to say “Amen,” but instead they said, “What a joke! How funny!” They turned their backs on me as if I didn’t know that they were making fun of me, as if I didn’t know that they were laughing at me. They said, “Look at us. We’re so weak and so fragile. If someone just flicks a finger, we’ll crack and die. We don’t have the ability to roll around on our own. We don’t even have the legs to stand up. But what? We’re going to fly like an angel? No way! It’s a joke. Say something that makes sense. You’re saying that we’re going to fly and sing like an angel?” It was impossible for them to believe and they couldn’t say, “Amen.” “You’re crazy. It’s not possible!” they said.

Though I was rather upset, I just remained patient. I said, “Fine, just do what I tell you to do. Will you do that? Stay in your mother’s bosom. Stay in there no matter what happens. Inside this storage closet where there’s no rain or snow that will get to you, just do not be arrogant and fall off to the side but stay in your mother’s bosom. Will you do that?” “Yes.” They made up their minds to obey. Staying in their mother’s bosom was something they could do. After many days, they came out as little chicks with beaks that picked through their eggshells out into the world. Since I told them to stay in their mother’s bosom, how frustrating and claustrophobic it must have been at first. “How come I haven’t any wings? How come I can’t fly?” And when they can’t be patient and fall out of the nest, they end up dying. But the birds that stay in the nest and eat the food that the mother gives them, later on their wings become strong and they are able to fly.

All of you are like these bird’s eggs. You might say, “Look at me, I’m so fragile. Even if I fall from a high place I’ll break my arms or legs, but you’re saying I will ascend to heaven? I will fly throughout the stars? That’s inconceivable!” And you can’t bring yourself to say “Amen.” But don’t worry about it. Just don’t leave our Real Daddy’s bosom, then He will take responsibility to making sure you become an angel that flies. Even eggs become birds that can fly in the sky. Why couldn’t you become angels that fly throughout the universe? So even though you can’t believe it, don’t force yourself to believe, don’t even say “Amen.” Just commit yourselves to Real Daddy, that’s all.

This time I took pine tree seeds and I gave a sermon. It seems I always give sermons wherever I go. The pine tree is the king of trees. It’s an evergreen but its seed is so small. The seed of pumpkins and watermelons are quite big, but even though the tree so big, the pine tree seeds are tiny and as thin as paper. So I took the small seed and I gave a sermon.

“You pine seeds, I will make you grow a hundred thousand times larger than you are now. I will make you pierce up to the heavens as an evergreen, an eternal tree. Later people will come to your branches and they’ll sing, they’ll climb up on your branches and play their flutes, and birds will come and make their homes in your branches. Will you say ‘Amen’?”

But instead of saying “Amen,” they looked at me with narrowed eyes. They wanted to fly out. They wanted to go away. “No! This is all wrong!” And they tried to run away. “I might get caught in this fanaticism.” And they wanted to ride on the wind of heresy and run away. “Be patient, be patient I say! Please listen to just one more message.” But they only replied, “Look at us, we’re as thin as paper. We’re so skinny and small. You said that we were going to grow thousands and millions of times bigger than we are now. We’re going to pierce through the sky and birds will sing in our branches and people will climb on us and play the flute? This is unimaginable, it’s fanaticism!” They couldn’t even imagine such a thing happening. When the winds blow, their bodies would be blown away together with even the slightest breeze. So how could people climb on them and birds lay their eggs and sing for them. There was no one who could say, “Amen.”They all wanted to run away.

I barely got them to be patient for three days. And I kept giving them a sermon. “If you can’t believe what I’m saying, then I have one request. I will guarantee that you’ll grow into a beautiful tree, the king of trees. Just give your body and soul to me, and then I’ll guarantee it. Will you do that?” And they agreed to endure just three days. So I took these pine seeds to a nice piece of land where it was sunny and I buried them in the ground. And they said, “What? You said you would make us pierce the sky and people will climb on us and birds will come and sing to us, but you’re burying us here in this dirt?” The seeds were so angry. “You buried me alive! You deceived me! I knew this would happen, I’ve fallen into error!” They were in an uproar. “You said that you’d make us pierce the sky but it’s dark and we can’t even see the sun! Where is the sky?”

So I told them, “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit!” I also was upset now so I said this rather loudly and went home quite angry. Pine trees need to have some patience. I didn’t care whether they screamed or yelled out curses. Even after many, many days passed, of course, they were still upset and wouldn’t listen to me, being even more rebellious. But my words had become a seed in their hearts. After many struggles, they pierced through the ground and came out to face the sun. “Good job! You made it!” How astonishing it was! They had leaves of regeneration and they kept on growing and growing. Finally that little pine seed became a tree so large that it pierced the sky. Birds came and sang for them. People climbed up the tree and played their flutes. They became the trees of eternal life.

Whether the watermelon seeds, the pine tree seeds, the eggs – it’s speaking about all of you. All of you were black– filled with sin like the watermelon seeds. You were so stubborn. Your conscience was so hardened that not even a needle could penetrate it. In the beginning, you looked at me with narrowed eyes, saying, “This is fanaticism! Let’s get out of here!” You barely made it until the third day. But as I look at your faces now, you’re all smiling. Two leaves of regeneration have come out. Since the leaves of regeneration have come out and you have the root of faith that has sprouted, I hope that you’ll continue to grow and commit yourself to the heavenly Farmer. Then He will make you an angel that can fly throughout the universe and the heavenly host will come and sing to you. You’ll be like that eternal living pine tree. You’ll bear many fruits all throughout the world like the watermelon. May you become like a bird that flies to heaven to live for eternity.

THE DAY OF BLESSING

et’s look at Exodus chapter 20 verses 8-11. [Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.]

“Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.” This Sabbath is the day of blessings. You receive ten thousand different kinds of blessings, but we will learn about only five of them.

What’s the first blessing? The blessing of sanctification. You can only go to heaven by what? Not by power, not by the length of your faith, and not by how much you donated. Only when you become sanctified and have the image of God can you go to heaven. But where does the blessing of sanctification come from? You may have fasted and prayed all night, but it did not work. But as you are learning right now, the first blessing you receive in keeping the Sabbath holy is the blessing of sanctification.

Let’s look at Ezekiel chapter 20 verse 12. [Moreover I also gave them My Sabbath, to be a sign between them and Me that they may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.]

It says that “they may know that I’m the living God who sanctifies them.” Let them know, show them– that’s why He gave the Sabbath, to be an eternal sign between Him and us. The people who keep God’s holy Sabbath, you can tell by their faces and that comes from a sanctified character. There may be thousands of denominations in this world, but is there any church that is sanctified? There’s none, and the fact that there’s not even one means they are not receiving the first blessing of the Sabbath. In other words, there is not one denomination or church that is keeping the Sabbath holy.

You may think, “What do you mean? There’s the Seventh-day Adventist Church!” But they are not keeping God’s Sabbath; they are keeping the Sabbath that the SDA pastors have made. It is a day that the pastors make their money; a holiday. If the Seventh-day Adventists had kept the true Sabbath, they would have already been sanctified long ago. But when people come here, even if they didn’t attend church or believed in God for ten or twenty years, or even a year, they are changed. How? Did this Park Myung Ho do some magic? No, it is due to receiving the first blessing of the Sabbath, and that blessing is being given here. There are no lies to God’s Word. Just like a raindrop that descends on the very spot it falls, God’s blessings accurately fall upon those who obey.

What’s the second blessing? The blessing of special light. Many of you have attended different theological schools of the world, but was there any light? It was so dark that you couldn’t even know whether the path you were walking on was the path of eternal life or the path of eternal hell. But once you came here, was there light? You became one who could see the future and even all the way to heaven. The whole future is opened before you. And not only that, you become children of light and there’s light that radiates from your faces, a light in your heart, a light in your character and life. That occurs because this is the very place where the second blessing of the Sabbath comes.

What’s the third blessing? The blessing of special health. Let’s look at Exodus chapter 15:26.[If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you.]

So it says, [Do what is right in His sight,] not in the sight of the church. He is asking you to do what is right in [His] sight, in God’s sight, and give ear to His commandments. And then “I will put” how many diseases? “None of the diseases which I have brought on the Egyptians.” Before we met our Real Daddy, we were sick from eating the wrong foods and not knowing the Sabbath, but He told us, “If you are sick, I am the Lord who heals you.” Those who returned to the Father and kept the Sabbath were not sick anymore; even if they were sick in the past, our Real Daddy healed them. In the churches of the world, for so long people have gotten sick with incurable diseases, and though people laid their hands praying for them, they still died from their diseases. But here, no one lays their hands on anyone, and yet do people get well or not? They get well just by sitting here and listening to the Word. It’s not because Park Myung Ho goes around laying his hands on people, but this is the very place where the third blessing of the Sabbath falls. I truly love God’s Word. If we just obey His words, all the blessings will fall upon us, and that’s why I’m so thankful to our Real Father, for giving us such wonderful messages. If we just return to our Father, we become such happy beings.

What’s the fourth blessing? The blessing of special power. Here we have two people, Mr. A and Mr. B. Mr. A goes up with a certain Bible verse and gives a sermon, and even though it is only thirty minutes, everyone gets a headache and aching backs, “Oh, when will this sermon end?” everyone says. But though Mr. B comes up with the same Bible verse that Mr. A came up with, he could speak for an hour and it would seem like only five or ten minutes have passed. His sermon moves the heart of the people even though it’s the same Bible verse. Later, we find out that this happened because Mr. A was a person who defiled the Sabbath and did not keep it holy while Mr. B was the one who kept the Sabbath holy.

Let me ask you, is there power coming out from me? Do you really think there’s a power that comes out from me?I take the same Bible that everyone else in the world uses. And though I’m the same person, there’s power coming out from me that can move the hearts of people. Then, what theological school did I come out of? Which department? The Mountain Theology School with a degree in A-frame carrying? Oh, how come all of you know this so well? Yes, it’s true. I came out of the “Mountain Theological School” with a degree in A-frame carrying. I did not learn as much as people in the world have, and I’m not any better or special than them, but there’s a power that comes out from me. And there’s no other reason for this; it is merely proof that I have received the fourth blessing of the Sabbath. There is no difference between all of you and me. If there is a single difference, it’s that I risk my life to keep the Sabbath holy.

In my youth, I had heard that the SDA Church lived according to the law, so I attended the church for a while; but even the pastors there were breaking the law. I tried so hard to save that church and I even wrote a book in the seventies, more than twenty years ago. I cried out to them to keep the Sabbath holy, and had they reformed, then the five million SDA Churches throughout the world would not have been forsaken as they are today; they would have become the church of power. But instead, the leaders took my book and said, “Oh, this is fanaticism, extremism.” How can there be anything wrong in telling the people to keep the Sabbath holy? And they rejected that truth. But all of you have accepted this–that’s why all the blessings have come to you. If all of you will also risk your life and keep the Sabbath firm and holy as I have, then you’ll be able to receive even more power than me.

What’s the fifth blessing? The blessing of holy influence. Those who keep the Sabbath holy, even if they just pass by, they have this magnetic effect and you want to go to them and learn from them; you want to be friends with them and spend time with them. It’s the blessing of holy influence and it even goes across the seas all throughout the world; it can move the whole universe. Then do the pastors of the SDA Church have this blessing of holy influence? Those pastors don’t even have the scent of Jesus. Some of you know what I’m talking about. Then is it because these pastors are evil or because they’re no good? It’s because they do not receive the fifth blessing of the Sabbath. But with our brethren, wherever they go, people say, “You know, that person from the Elijah Gospel Missionary Institute is very noble. I’ve never met anyone like him/her.”When we are amongst ourselves in church, we may not seem so special, but when we go out into the world, we have such an influence over people. And the gentile people outside say, “This person is really strange, he’s different from anyone we’ve ever met. He has some kind of power.” When we’re with each other, because we are all the children of light, we can’t tell whether we are shining or not, but when we go out into the dark world, that light shines. And with that holy influence that our Real Father has given to us, no matter how evil the enemy may be, Satan can’t stop the light that shines out from us, from our lives.

What precious blessings we have received! Though people fast for thirty or forty days, after they fast, they fight with their family, they fight with their church, and they show no signs of change. But when we return to our Real Father, keep the Sabbath holy,and just sit still, we become regenerated and sanctified. If you believe in Jesus, you are supposed to be the children of light, but it’s so dark out there in the world. Only on the Sabbath does the light shine upon you that you receive special health. Even though no one lays their hands on you, you become healthy. You have power and you have holy influence. The Sabbath gives us such blessings and we cannot help but go to heaven. When I think about the Sabbath, my heart fills up with such emotion. I don’t know how I can more strongly emphasize the importance of the Sabbath, how holy, how blessed the Sabbath is. Right now, my heart is moved with happiness and joy. That’s why when it’s time for the Sabbath, I get anxious because I want to quickly enter the Sabbath.

So those people who defile the Sabbath cannot live and if you look all throughout history, there’s not one person even among the chosen people that was saved if they didn’t keep the Sabbath holy. Everyone had to keep the Sabbath holy. And no matter how shabby a group of people may have been, when they kept the Sabbath holy, they could not help but be saved. Let’s look at what history tells.

First, the Israelites. God sent Moses to save the Israelites from Egypt and how many came out? 600,000 men. Just 600,000 men if you don’t include the children and women, but how many men made it into the Promised Land? Two. What about the others? They all died in the wilderness. It means only one out of 300,000 were saved. Everyone else died. Isn’t this true? Whenever I read about this, how sad it is. I imagined when they first came out of Egypt, how happy they were because they were finally receiving deliverance, dancing as they sang, “Oh, we will go to the Promised Land, to our home,” and they set out. But when it came for time to enter the Promised Land, two went in and 598,000 men and the rest all died in the wilderness. Can you believe that only one out of 300,000 people entered there? How harsh is this ratio. If only one in 300,000 could be saved, I’d probably give up believing in Jesus myself.

However, what did I tell you? Going to heaven is just like riding a cable car. It’s so easy. But why was it so hard for those Israelites to be saved? We should not read the Bible like some story book. We should ask ourselves why they died like that. Then why did Caleb and Joshua enter the Promised Land? We should learn the reasons why they all died and only Caleb and Joshua went in. We shouldn’t just read it like some story and let it pass like that. Then why did the Israelites die like that when God was leading them so preciously from the front and behind with a pillar of clouds by day and a pillar of smoke by night?

Ezekiel chapter 20 verse 13, [Yet the house of Israel rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they despised My judgments, “which, if a man does, he shall live by them;” and they greatly defiled My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them.]

“Yet thousands of Israelites, 600,000 of them [rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did not walk in My statutes; they despised My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’].It means they will not receive eternal life. So [they despised My judgments which, if a man does he shall live by them; and they greatly defiled My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them in the wilderness, to consume them.]”Does this mean the two million (including women and children) Israelites did not keep the Sabbath? They kept the Sabbath every week; they did not even miss one Sabbath, but why did they die? It’s because they greatly defiled the Sabbath.

 Look at the SDA Church, they will keep the Sabbath until they die. However, God did not say to just keep the Sabbath, He said to keep the Sabbath holy. He did not even say to keep it clean but keep it holy. But look at the SDA Church, they are defiling the Sabbath, and there has never been anyone who has defiled the Sabbath or trampled upon the Sabbath all throughout history as much as they. The Israelites really kept the Sabbath holy and really tried at least, yet only 1 out of 300,000 lived. So not even one being from the SDA Church will be saved. You will learn more as time passes.

Let’s look at verse 15, [So I also raised My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, “flowing with milk and honey,” the glory of all lands, because they despised My judgments and did not walk in My statutes, but profaned My Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols.]

“So I also raised My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, ‘flowing with milk and honey,’ the glory of all lands, because they profaned My Sabbath, they did not keep it holy. So I did not guide them into the land flowing with milk and honey.” They could have received salvation so easily, like riding a cable car, whistling and singing. But now do you know why they failed?

The prophetess has said, “During the entire forty years in the wilderness, the people were every week reminded of the sacred obligation of the Sabbath, by the miracle of the manna.”

God performed three miracles every Sabbath. What kind of miracles? Every day, manna fell from heaven for each day’s use, but on the Sabbath preparation day, God gave them a double amount in order to make them keep the Sabbath holy. The manna would not fall on the Sabbath. That also was a miracle. Secondly, the leftover manna always decayed the next day but it didn’t decay on the Sabbath. Thirdly, the manna which fell everyday all year long didn’t fall at all only on the Sabbath, ever. So with these three miracles that occurred every week, every single Sabbath, they were reminded of the importance of keeping the Sabbath holy. He showed them these miracles for the entire forty years in the wilderness. Then is it because God had nothing better to do that He would show them these three miracles? It’s because He wanted to show them the holiness of the Sabbath and this is our Real Daddy striving to teach them these lessons. Yet even this did not lead them to obedience. So for people who have no desire to live, even God cannot save them. The churches in the world nowadays, especially the SDA Church, have made up their minds to die. If anyone says, “Let’s keep the Sabbath holy,” then they say, “Oh, he’s an extremist. Let’s bring him down from the pulpit.” They should accept this message but instead they’re saying it’s extremism and they kick away this blessing.

“Though they did not venture upon so open and bold transgression as had received such signal punishment, yet, there was great laxness in the observance of the fourth commandment.”

Actually, the Israelites did not defile the Sabbath as blatantly as the SDA Church does today. When they were first led by God to keep the Sabbath, they were regenerated and became more sanctified with each coming Sabbath. No one complained or murmured, no one rebelled against Moses as they were transformed astonishingly. But as the days, months, and years passed, little by little they became lax in their Sabbath. And then, instead of becoming changed, they become more evil. Later, they became such violent beings who even tried to kill Moses and started cursing God. This was the conclusion of those that defiled the Sabbath. All of you too, when you keep the Sabbath holy here, you will become more and more transformed. But if you find your character becoming strange and twisted as time passes, then you must deeply search yourselves. There is always a reason for everything. If there’s an accident, there is always a reason, whether the driver dozed or the tires blew, there is always a reason for everything. There cannot be an accident without a cause.

“The sins of blasphemy and willful Sabbath-breaking receive the same punishment, being equally an expression of contempt for the authority of God.”

Do you know what this means? Those who knowingly break the Sabbath– the Protestant Church members don’t know about the Sabbath so how can they keep the Sabbath holy? But those who knowingly break the Sabbath are acting no differently than spitting on God’s face. Do you realize the extent of this sin?

The SDA Church does not realize what a great sin they are committing by defiling the Sabbath. They think that just by going to church on Saturday is, everything. And if you look back in history, there is not one person who died because he did not go to church on Saturday. Whether the people led by Moses or the people that worshipped in golden Jerusalem, they all went to church on Saturdays for thousands of years. But did they live or did they die? They all died. It’s the same with the SDA Church. They will all die going to church on Saturdays.

Then why is breaking the Sabbath the same as spitting on God’s face? Those who call on God and say that they are His children, if so, should they have God’s image or the image of the devil? Those who call on God as their Father should be like the Father and be holy, but if there are those that have the image of the demon but call God their Father, then they are spitting on His face. Why? Those who keep the Sabbath holy will automatically have God’s image, but those who defile the Sabbath will automatically bear the image of the demon. So whenever these demons cry out to God and call Him their Father, it is the same sin as spitting on His face. Do you understand?

“Although God may not now punish the transgressions of His law with temporal penalties, yet His word declares that the wages of sin is death and in the final execution of the judgment it will be found that death is the portion of those who violate His sacred precepts.”

What does it say here? It does not seem that God is punishing the people, whether the SDA Church or any of you or any of those who knowingly defile the Sabbath. But a long time ago, if people defiled the Sabbath, they killed them, stoned them right on the spot. The reason was God hoped this would discourage the remaining children from defiling the Sabbath in the future. However, no matter how people defile the Sabbath now, He doesn’t punish them. Why? There is no one after us, no future generation to warn, so God just leaves them alone to defile it however they wish. But when the time for judgment comes, it will mean certain death for those who have broken and defiled the Sabbath. There is no forgiveness, only judgment that awaits them.

I hope that you will not walk on the path the Israelites did. I hope you will not walk on the path that the SDA Church is walking on. May you be like Jesus and keep the Sabbath holy. When you do, you will become sanctified, receive power, become the children of light, radiate a holy influence, and you will be able to ascend to heaven with a healthy body. Isn’t that wonderful? How wonderful it is!

How about the people of the golden Jerusalem? Did they live or die? They all perished. Were they saved? No, they all fell into ruins. Who commanded the people to build the golden Jerusalem? It was God Himself who told them to build it and gave them the blueprints to build it, and He personally entered there so that regular priests could not even stand before His presence. And what did He say? He vowed that He would love them forever, saying, “I will love this church forever as the apple of My eye.” But what happened afterwards? He let Jerusalem burn and a million people were killed in that fire. Does the golden Jerusalem exist now or not? It has completely burned down and only an empty lot remains.

God said that He would save the people of Jerusalem, to love and protect them for eternity, but why did He change His mind? We must know the reason why.

Jeremiah chapter 17:24-25,[“And it shall be, if you heed Me carefully,” says the LORD, “to bring no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but hallow the Sabbath day, to do no work in it, then shall enter the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, accompanied by the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain forever.”]

Our Father always includes His name into important messages and says, [“And it shall be, if you heed Me carefully,” says the LORD, “to bring no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but hallow the Sabbath day, to do no work in it, then shall enter the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, accompanied by the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain forever.”] Didn’t He make this vow?

But in verse 27, it’s written, [“But if you will not heed Me to hallow the Sabbath day, such as not carrying a burden when entering the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.”]

“So if you will not keep My Sabbath holy, then I will kindle a fire in its gates and no human or firemen will ever be able to quench that fire.” Now do you know why Jerusalem was burned down? It’s because they defiled the Sabbath. For thousands of years to this day, those who defiled the Sabbath, whoever it might be, even if they received the greatest favor and were led by Moses or Joshua, it was useless. But no matter how shabby a people were, forsaken and discarded – how shabby were the disciples that gathered in the Upper Room? Were they learned? Were they nice-looking? Did they wear stylish clothes? They were a ragtag group of people not worth giving a second glance, but they were all saved. Why? They all kept the Sabbath holy. You must realize that this Sabbath is your life.

For six thousand years to this day, not a single person who defiled the Sabbath was ever saved. Will you believe this now? Then how can we keep the Sabbath holy? How can we keep the Sabbath holy so as not to end up like the 600,000 Israelites in the wilderness, the Israelites of Jerusalem, and the SDA Church? How can we ascend to heaven like the group two thousand years ago in the Upper Room?

Let’s look at Exodus chapter 16:23, [And he said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’”]

Moses called all the people together and said, “Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, the holy Sabbath to the Lord.” This Sabbath belongs to our Real Daddy. It does not belong to the Israelites or the Seventh-day Adventists; it is God’s holy Sabbath. He said, “A holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, boil what you will boil and lay up for yourselves all that remains,” in other words, finish all your cooking today on Friday, the preparation day, and do not cook anything on the Sabbath. What are they not supposed to do? They are not supposed to cook anything.

Then look at the 5 million Seventh-day Adventists today, do they cook on the Sabbath or not? The Sabbath for them is the day to cook food and have a party. If there is a conference and the president or a guest pastor comes, the deaconesses in the back do not even attend worship. They go to the market and buy all kinds of foods to cook for that president or pastor on the Sabbath. If they don’t, then that church gets stigmatized and disregarded. Those people who come from the SDA Church, am I lying or not? Is there anyone whose church does not cook food on Sabbath? No, they all cook on the Sabbath.

Perhaps the people do it because they don’t know any better, but what about the people who know that it’s wrong and sit there eating that food? And do you know what they say after eating all that food cooked and prepared on the Sabbath? They say, “Bah, the Protestants are not keeping the Sabbath, they are keeping Sunday so they will all die. And only the Seventh-day Adventists will go to heaven, so do not leave this church. Do not leave the organization because if you stay, you will surely be saved.” Isn’t that what they say? Please do not listen to those deceivers. Where does it say in the Bible that if you remain in the organization of the SDA Church you will be saved? Only those who keep the Sabbath holy will go to heaven. There’s not a single reference in the Bible that states you can defile the Sabbath as long as you remain in some organization or denomination, that you will go to heaven. How can such lies be tolerated!

So I gave this Sabbath message tape to the president of the SDA General Conference of Korea at that time and even other famous pastors, imploring them, “Please, won’t you guide the Seventh-day Adventists and save them?”And you know what those leaders said? They went around until late night telling the people that Park Myung Ho was a heretic, to never listen to his erroneous messages. Didn’t they do that? There is no way that such a people can be saved. But upon coming here, is there anyone cooking on the Sabbath? So whether it’s the people of the Upper Room in the past or the Upper Room of the present, we only obey our Father’s words; that’s why we are able to receive such blessings.

Then does God prohibit us from cooking on the Sabbath because it’s a waste of time? Of course not. He wants us to eat more deliciously on the Sabbath. He wants us to cook more delicious foods on the preparation day and then just eat it on Sabbath. Why are we not permitted to cook on the Sabbath then? There are so many blessings, ten thousands kinds of blessings that are bestowed upon us on the Sabbath, and our Father doesn’t want us to miss out on any of those blessings by being too busy cooking. That’s why He doesn’t want us to cook on the Sabbath. If it was up to me, I would rather not even eat on that day and just receive blessings. Since He doesn’t want us to lose out on receiving blessings by cooking on the Sabbath, He has told us to prepare all foods the day before. How blessed we are! Do you still think it’s because our Real Daddy doesn’t want us to eat on the Sabbath? Yet people insist on barbecuing on the Sabbath saying it tastes so good. Then they get cancer and leprosy. I even went visiting SDA members who got leprosy. Can you believe God’s people getting leprosy while following Jesus? Is that God’s chosen church?

I often used to go visiting a leprosy hospital. There was an SDA deaconess’ family that was so pitiful. And even though I told them the right way to live, they wouldn’t listen. When people are foolish, there is no way to open their eyes. Even Solomon wrote that if someone is foolish, you could scrub them and they’d still remain foolish. It was God’s way of expressing that there was no way to awaken foolish people. You could scrub rice and barley and the skin would peel off, but no matter how much you scrubbed people with the Word, their foolishness would not peel away. It’s the only way they could live but they are so stubborn. It’s written here that God’s people will not get sick and He will heal us, but why are God’s people getting sick? We have to know the reason why and yet even though I tell them, they still say, “Oh, it’s okay. I’ll just live as I have done so up to now.”

Next, when we enter the Sabbath, we should take a bath and cleanse our bodies and our minds. This is written in Nehemiah chapter 13 verse 22 that He wants us to clean ourselves, to take a bath and enter the Sabbath. But do the Seventh-day Adventists do that? No. Their feet smell, their underarms smell, and they wear the same clothes and undergarments that they had worn all day long as they go to worship on Sabbath. And so I told a certain pastor, a very famous pastor, “Pastor, why does the SDA Church defile the Sabbath? Why don’t they even take a bath before Sabbath? Even those Buddhist monks who worship idols that cannot even talk, hear, or move, take a bath; they even take a bath in the middle of winter, in cold water three, five, seven times, before they go to pray for blessings. But why is it that Seventh-day Adventists can’t even take a hot shower or bath in order to keep the Sabbath?” And this pastor said, “Oh, it’s too expensive to take baths.” Let me ask those of you who came from the SDA Church, how small are the paychecks for your pastors that they can’t afford to pay for a bath four times a month? After this seminar, please put 4,000 won in an envelope and give it to your pastors urging them to take a bath before going to church.

You have to be able to understand each other to a certain extent so that you can talk to them. When he gave that kind of answer, I could not say anything back because it was so ridiculous. And with that dirty body and mind, do you know what they say? “O God, this is the Sabbath day, make me holy.” They are praying this kind of abominable prayer. The pastors have the deaconesses cook for them and they eat until their stomachs are about to burst, then they pray like that, so how can that church receive salvation?

Also, you should never enter the Sabbath with a heart of hatred towards anyone, whether family or friends. Perhaps you may have argued during the week, but you should go to them or call them and apologize to them first and settle all your differences, to enter the Sabbath with a peaceful, joyful heart. But is that what the Seventh-day Adventists do? They always fight when they just meet, always arguing every Sabbath. As soon as worship is over, pastors say bad things about elders, elders say bad things about pastors, and when pastors have meetings, they start pushing and shoving each other. Am I telling the truth or not? Am I lying? Since brethren are fighting with one another like that, what God will bless them?

And you should not travel on the Sabbath. Unless you have a special mission to share the bread of life with others, that’s alright, but even then, that person should be careful. Why? Because when riding the bus or train, you can hear the radio and you can hear people talking about worldly things; it will break the holiness of the Sabbath. So if possible, you should not travel because this world is evil and you cannot maintain the holiness of the Sabbath. There are times when I traveled on the Sabbath to spread God’s word, but you have to be especially alert, to be in a constant state of meditation with the Word and prayer.

Also, you should not sleep on the Sabbath. After working all week long making money, because Sabbath is a day of rest, there are some people who sleep all afternoon. Of course, those who are sick should sleep, but those who are healthy and sleep like that are stealing God’s time. The Sabbath is not our time but it is our Father’s time. But if there is a small seminar, perhaps during the summer, when you are listening to the Word and you have many messages to listen to, you can close your eyes for about ten minutes and rest. Though it’s not written that it’s permitted in the Bible that can be tolerated, because you are closing your eyes to rest, so, you can receive God’s Word later. But those who sleep all afternoon to the point that they are disoriented, when they wake up, that’s a sin.

Next, I will speak for those of our brethren from Protestant Churches. The Bible teachers from the Protestant Churches say, “Oh, the Sabbath belongs to the Jews and it has been abolished. We can just keep the Lord’s Day, Sunday. Isn’t it better to worship on the day that Jesus was resurrected than celebrating the day He died?” But I hope you will realize what a nonsensical lie that is. The Sabbath was not abolished in the slightest; it is eternal. The Sabbath is eternally unchanging, for it is the only way you can go to heaven; keeping the Sabbath holy is the only condition for salvation. Didn’t I already tell you that throughout history, no one that defiled the Sabbath survived? I hope you’ll believe it. Let’s return to the Bible.

Isaiah chapter 58 verses 13 and 14. [If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy day of the LORD honorable, and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the LORD has spoken.]

Yes, the mouth of the Lord has spoken. “If you turn away your foot, your hands, and your mouth from doing whatever you want on the Sabbath, I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth. I will cause you to be in heaven, feed you with the heritage”– allow you to live the fulfillment of the promise given to Jacob your father. So it says, “If you turn your foot away from the Sabbath and keep yourself from doing what you want on the Sabbath, then I will allow you to live in heaven.” But it says that if you don’t keep the Sabbath and do whatever you want, I will not cause you to ride on the high hills. You will fall to this earth and die.

Next, Isaiah chapter 56 verses 1 and 2.[Thus says the Lord: Keep justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation is about to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.]

So, thus says the Lord, “Keep justice and do righteousness.” Why are we to do righteousness? “For My salvation is about to come.” Since the time for Jesus to come has come, He is telling us to do righteousness. Then, what righteousness must we do? [Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath and keeps his hand from doing evil]. Who keeps from not keeping the Sabbath? No. Everyone has kept the Sabbath up to now. The Israelites, the Seventh-day Adventists and the Jews, they all kept the Sabbath. So it says here, not “to keep the Sabbath,” but “who keeps from defiling the Sabbath.” Isn’t this exact? “Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath and keeps his hand from doing evil, it says, [blessed is the man who does this.]”

In verse 7, it’s written. [Even them, I will bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer.] So those who make up their minds to not defile the Sabbath like Jesus, Joshua, and Caleb, will be blessed. With what blessing? [Even them I will bring to my holy mountain.] What’s the [holy mountain]? The new heaven paradise, to [make them joyful in my house of prayer.] I hope that you will do the righteousness of not defiling the Sabbath. Keeping the Sabbath does not mean anything. So, if you don’t keep the Sabbath holy and continue to call God your Father, then you are spitting on His face. At least those in the Protestant Churches do not know about the Sabbath, they will not be condemned for it. Do you believe now that it’s the condition for ascension?

Some may say, “Ah, but that’s the Old Testament. The Old Testament has been abolished. Why do you make such a fuss?”Alright then, let’s go to the New Testament. I’ll do whatever you want.

Matthew chapter 24 verse 20 and 21.[Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath for then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.]

And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on what? - On the Sabbath. For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. What tribulation is this? Yes, it’s the tribulation of Jacob’s Trouble that you are perhaps quite familiar with. This Jacob’s Trouble is the great universal battle between good and evil. For those who want to preserve their lives, our Father is worried that if the tribulation is in winter, it will be too cold and you might freeze to death; however, if you run away on the Sabbath, you would be defiling it and He is afraid that you will eternally die. That is why He said, “Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.” In other words, “It’s better to keep the Sabbath holy even if you freeze to death. You must not defile it by running away.” Do you understand? It’s not Peter who said this but Jesus Himself. Now do you still believe the Sabbath has been abolished?

Starting from Genesis, the Israelites, to the Jews, to the Seventh-day Adventists, up to those who are to enter Jacob’s Trouble just before Jesus comes, God says, “No matter what kind of tribulation it may be, keep the Sabbath holy even if you have to die. It’s better for you to die than to defile the Sabbath.” Is there a command more forceful than this? Now, will you believe that the Sabbath is alive and thriving? From Genesis up to now, the only way to be saved was through the Sabbath and keeping it holy.

Everything that those Protestant pastors have been saying is the trumpet sound of the demon. God is alive today and He is saying this to us but they dare to say that the Sabbath is abolished! The Sabbath existed since the beginning before the Jews were even born on this earth, so what did God say to Moses? He didn’t say to keep the Sabbath holy, He said, “Remember the Sabbath day.” To remember means it was already there so just don’t forget about it. Do you believe the Sabbath existed before the Jews were born? This Sabbath does not belong to the Jews.

We can only go to heaven through the Sabbath. Then when people go to heaven, what will they do there? Let’s look at Isaiah chapter 66 verses 22 and 23. [For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me…. And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me, says the Lord.]

So here, “says the Lord” comes out twice. [For as the new heavens and the new earth which I shall make shall remain before Me, says the Lord. And it shall come to pass that from one new Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come and worship Me, says the Lord.] So we ascend to heaven through the Sabbath and when we go to heaven, what will we keep? We will keep the Sabbath in heaven as well. At that time, we’ll keep the Sabbath right there with our Daddy. I will not be leading the worship. Our Real Daddy will say, “Okay, today let’s go to the river of life. Let’s go to Zion. Let’s go to that star,” and He will lead us and pour blessings upon us. But do you still insist that the Sabbath has been abolished? There are so many false prophets under Satan’s influence in this world that are spreading such false teachings, that’s why it’s like in the time of Noah, only a precious few will be saved. Do you understand? There are no lies to Jesus’ words.

Though there are so many Protestants jumping up and down, thinking they must scream aloud in prayer, as Jesus sees it, they have nothing to do with Him. Our Father and Jesus are Beings that know what will happen millions of years in the future, for They are omnipotent. Do you now understand how those demons of fanaticism have controlled the whole world? You may think, “Oh, but it says in the Bible that Jesus abolished the Sabbath.” Yes, Jesus did abolish the Sabbath, but that was not our Real Father’s Sabbath; Jesus abolished the Sabbath of the Jews. But do you think those Protestant theology professors know that?

The Sabbath was made as a blessing for whom? For man. In order to take people, His youngest children to heaven, the Sabbath is the traveler’s guide to heaven. Heaven’s cable car is the Sabbath. So the Sabbath was made for man, to bless them with ten thousand blessings and transform them so that they may ascend to heaven. But the Jews made the Sabbath a day of curses, just like what those pastors of the SDA Church did.

What kind of day did they make the Sabbath? Claiming they must keep the Sabbath holy, do you know what those Jews did? They didn’t even carry around a handkerchief because if they put it in their pocket, they said it was the same as carrying a burden so that would make one a sinner, to be condemned for carrying a burden on the Sabbath. So if they needed to use the handkerchief, they sewed it to their clothes on Friday, then, claimed it was a part of their clothes and no longer a handkerchief, and that’s how they used it. Also on the Sabbath, while walking by, if they saw a sheep worth a hundred dollars fallen in a pit and dying, they would say, “Oh, that’s a hundred dollar lamb,” and they would save it. But when God’s sons and daughters were dying, they would say, “Don’t fold up your blanket, don’t get up, just die on the spot.” Then was this a Sabbath of blessings or curses? This was completely Satan’s Saturday Sabbath, a strange and cursed day. How could they allow God’s children to die while saving a hundred dollar animal? So people were not even treated with as much worth as an animal.

In Vietnam, when people are killed, no one bothers to mention it, but when a pig dies, the whole neighborhood gives their condolences saying what a great loss it is. And on the Sabbath, they counted how many steps you could take, making a rule that you could only take so many steps on the Sabbath or it would be traveling. But they worked around this rule so that they could freely travel by burying some food in the ground at a set distance of permitted travel on Friday. Then those Jews and Pharisees would go there on the Sabbath, eat some food and say since they ate there, it was a home. How ridiculous they were! That’s how they bent the rules for their own convenience. Apparently, there are more than 300 such traditions and rules that the Jews made. That’s why their religion was a curse to them.

They were not even permitted to light a candle on the Sabbath because that would be work. So how would they read on the Sabbath? They would call in gentiles and tell them to light the candle. Since they were gentiles, they would die anyway, so it would be alright for them to light the candle and work on the Sabbath. “Did you light it? Okay, then get out.” How self-righteous and evil they were!

That’s why when Jesus came, He said, “What nonsense! This Sabbath was given to us by our Daddy to give His children blessings, freedom, and liberate them. But you have made the Sabbath into a day that oppresses them, a day of curses instead of blessings.” The Sabbath became such a tedious day with all those traditions and rules, a cursed day that people forced themselves to keep, and that’s why Jesus abolished those things. He abolished all those false and evil rules made by the church. He purposely carried around a big handkerchief on the Sabbath, went far distances to make visits, light candles to read books. He healed the sick on Sabbath and told them to pick up their beds and go home.

One day, during the Sabbath, the Jews saw a man carrying his bed and passing the temple. They demanded of him, “Hey, why are carrying your bed around on the Sabbath?” And the man who was healed replied, “The teacher who healed me told me to.” “Who is this teacher?” “Oh, it’s Teacher Jesus.” That’s why the Jews killed Jesus, accusing Him of having defiled the Sabbath. They killed Jesus for defiling the Sabbath and for teaching that God is our Real Father. You all learned that last time, didn’t you? So Jesus came to abolish all those false Sabbaths that Satan made and recover our Real Father’s Sabbath, the true Sabbath.

Those Sunday church teachers and pastors say that Jesus abolished the Sabbath with His death on the cross, so if He did, should Jesus’ disciples have to keep the Sabbath or not after Jesus was crucified? They shouldn’t have to keep the Sabbath. But even after Jesus died, those disciples kept the Sabbath so strictly in a most holy way. They all lost their lives for keeping the Sabbath holy.

When Jesus died, they had to put fragrance on His dead body, but because the sun went down already, they said, “Oh, our Lord said we should not do anything on the Sabbath, let’s stop,” and so they stopped putting fragrance on Him, they went home and kept the Sabbath. When they came back early morning on Sunday after the Sabbath, Jesus had already been resurrected. So then, now do you believe that the disciples kept the Sabbath most holy?

If you look in the Bible, it says that Jesus kept every Sabbath as was His custom. It means He kept it holy as was His habit to do so. Even Apostle Paul kept the Sabbath according to the law just like Jesus. So Jesus came to abolish the Jewish Sabbath and instead establish our Real Father’s Sabbath. But Jesus knew that Satan would use the Protestant theologians to say He abolished the Sabbath, which is why in Matthew chapter 5, He said, “Do not think that I came to get rid of the law, but I came to fulfill the law. I did not come to abolish the Sabbath but to establish it.”Tomorrow I will explain more clearly about the Sabbath so that you will not have any more questions concerning it. The whole world has been completely deceived by the demon.

Jesus 2000 years ago abolished the Sabbath of the Jews made by Satan and instead taught them the Sabbath of our Real Father so that they could be blessed and go to heaven. In the same way, the last Son, this uncomely being, has come to abolish the Sabbath of the Seventh-day Adventists that they falsified and defiled, to instead give all of you the Sabbath of our Real Father. That’s why you must not keep the Sabbath of the Jews or the Sabbath of the Seventh-day Adventists, but the Sabbath which Jesus taught us, the Sabbath of our Real Father. Otherwise, there would be no salvation whatsoever.

Then why is it that people who were so evil become regenerated and sanctified just by keeping the Sabbath holy, and those whose faces were dark and gloomy become children of light, their faces so radiant that even people in the world can recognize them when they ride the bus? Those who were sick here and there and had all kinds of illnesses were healed completely just by keeping the Sabbath holy a few times. And those who used to give sermons that sounded so awful and tedious, all of a sudden, though they could not speak well or eloquently, had such power in their words as they became people with a holy influence, to end up going to heaven. Why do these things happen just by keeping the Sabbath?

Then how about those who keep the SDA Sabbath? No matter how refined a pastor may seem and so good-looking, how wicked is his character. You can’t even go near him because he gets mad and loses his temper. Some pastors even beat their wives! They don’t have a single ray of light. Later, you hear they get some disease and died. Their sermons are such a headache to listen to. Why is that?

Why is it that if you keep the Sabbath holy, you are blessed and ascend to heaven, but when you defile the Sabbath, it’s the complete opposite and you end up ruined? It’s not the day Saturday which blesses us. It is because the Lord of the Sabbath comes and blesses us. The Jews and the Seventh-day Adventists think that Saturday is everything and they will be blessed if they observe that day as the Sabbath, but that’s not it at all. That day has no power.  Can time give you any blessings? Can the day give you blessings? Is that day God? No!

In this universe, there are three places where God our Father abides. First, it’s in heaven, the third heavens. Second, in the throne of our hearts, and third, He abides in the holy sanctuary of time. The sanctuary of time is the Sabbath, beginning from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, a full 24 hours. This is the Sabbath time where our Father personally abides. That’s why when we go to meet our Real Daddy who abides in the sanctuary of time, we must never enter the Sabbath with hearts of hatred or filled with grudge. It’s written that those who enter the Sabbath with sin in their hearts, God’s glory will become a consuming fire to such beings and they will burn away and disappear. That is why God can never appear to those SDA Churches – because they would all burn to death if He did. It is God’s mercy that even though they are forsaken, still at least they are living in the flesh. So that’s why when we go to meet our Father on the Sabbath, we should take a bath; forgive all our brethren; and enter the Sabbath with a holy heart and a heart of obedience. If you keep the Sabbath having cooked and eaten to your full, it would mean you had already committed a sin.

Therefore, it’s not the date which changes us and blesses us, but it’s our Daddy who comes at that time sanctuary, and when we meet our holy Daddy, we become sanctified. We become regenerated and sanctified. Would our Daddy just sit still doing nothing even though his child has the image of the beast? He would transform him. And because He is the source of all light, He comes and gives us light and we also receive light to become the son of light. When Moses met God on Mount Sinai, he came back with light radiating from his face and he had to cover his face with a cloth. Then when that God who is the source of light has come, how could we not become the children of light? That’s why though the group of people from the “Upper Room” is small in number, gentiles can recognize them.

Also, since we meet our Real Daddy who is the source of all power, we also have such power coming out from us. And when His children are sick, can our Daddy just ignore it? “Oh, why do you look so sick?” It’s the same with our earthly parents. They would do everything we ask though we do not even ask. Even though we don’t tell our Real Daddy what we want or beg Him for anything, because He is our Real Daddy, he heals us. And since we meet One who is holy, we also become holy and ultimately ascend to heaven. I hope that you will keep the Sabbath holy. May you act righteously by keeping the Sabbath and not defiling it.

Then how can we keep the Sabbath completely holy and not defile it? Whether you defile the Sabbath for 24 hours or one minute, you have still defiled the Sabbath. It says that the wages of sin is death, not that the wages of a big sin is death. Whether a big sin or a tiny sin, the wages of sin is death. You must become completely righteous beings. That’s why whether you defile all 24 hours of the Sabbath or just one minute, you have defiled it all the same.

Then how can we keep the Sabbath absolutely holy? Just as we began this Sabbath welcoming worship before the sun went down, when you go back home, you must allow the sun to go down while you are offering farewell worship. Then at the end of the Sabbath, you should be in the midst of worship as the sun goes down as well. If you do so, you will have kept the Sabbath holy for 24 hours.

During the Sabbath, you must never think about buying or selling, or think about personal things, or have a heart of hatred for anyone. You should not be thinking, “Oh, if only I didn’t keep the Sabbath today, I would be making a hundred dollars. I wish the Sabbath would quickly pass.” Do not think such thoughts. Those who keep Real Daddy’s Sabbath make lots of money on that day. On this Sabbath, I will surely make you a lot of money. The Seventh-day Adventists today are so upset that they can’t make money after Sabbath worship. They go to church in the morning and open their stores in the afternoon. They go to Seoul to buy wholesale products that day. Why do they do that? It’s because they are so foolish. They could make so much money just by keeping still and playing around on the Sabbath, but they are running around trying so hard to make money. So this Sabbath, I will make you a lot of money in actuality. The Son of God does not lie. So the Sabbath is a day of receiving blessings in which you are able to ascend to heaven having received all the physical and spiritual blessings.

But there is one question. Does our Real Daddy truly have a lot of love? Is He truly generous, pardoning, and forgiving? Yes. Our Real Daddy is truly generous and full of love. But when it comes to the Sabbath and you ask Him if you can break the Sabbath just once, He is so furious and says, “Let’s not be Father and son any longer. You are not My son. You are not My daughter.” Our Real Daddy is so good and broad-minded, but when it comes to the Sabbath, if you were to ask, “Our families are getting together to pay our respects to our ancestors, so can we get off just this Sabbath?” Then Daddy would scold you, saying, “What are you talking about! Then let’s separate, you can go live with your ancestors! You are not a member of My family.” And He would get so upset. How strange it is. We just want to do some small thing on the Sabbath and Daddy is outraged. Why is He like that?

The only son of a certain family was sick and dying. It was an incurable disease that would lead to certain death; a fearful disease like AIDS. No one who got this disease ever survived. It was a fatal disease and unfortunately, this only son got it. It was a disease that only one person in the whole world could cure. He was a very old man who made oriental medicine far, far away in another region. The only chance of survival for this son was to take that old man’s medicine. No one else could do it.

So there he was, this sick son lying on his bed. Long ago, there were no cars so they had to walk on mountain trails and gravel roads. It was during the hot summer and this elderly father walked so far (about 80 kilometers round trip) for many hours on end just to save his son. The father collapsed after he returned. Of course the father wouldn’t do such a strenuous thing if his son’s life wasn’t at stake. The father brought the medicine and the mother boiled it. She put all her care and made sure the medicine was properly prepared. The mother woke up the son, “Son, your father walked for so many hours and his feet are so blistered; he has collapsed right now. Take this medicine.”“Oh, no, that medicine looks bitter, I don’t want it.” “Oh, you don’t want it? Okay, fine.” And would any mother just throw away that medicine? Instead, the mother would become furious. “If you don’t take this medicine, leave the house. Get out! You are not my son.”The parents used to take such good care of their son because he was their only son, but this was the first time the mother was telling him to leave the house saying, “You are not my son. Go!” This son never heard his mother talk like that to him. Why? Is it because she hates him? No. It is because the mother really wants to save him. That’s her love for him.

Why does our Real Daddy, who is so forgiving and pardons us for anything else, get so upset and angry when it comes to the Sabbath? Even during Jacob’s Trouble, He tells us not to run away on the Sabbath and just die on the Sabbath rather than defile it. Why? It’s because He loves these young children so much and wants to take us to heaven. That’s why it is eternal life to know the heart of the only true God. But do the Christians in the world know the heart of God? That’s why they say, “Oh, the Sabbath is an enemy. Why does it come around so often?” That’s why they always open their businesses in the afternoons after going to church in the mornings. Now that you know our Father’s heart, even if you lose your life, I hope that you will keep the Sabbath holy.

Some people will come to me after this hour to ask me some questions. A female high school student will ask, “Teacher.” “Yes, what do you want?” “Teacher, after this meeting I have to go back to school, but if I don’t go to school on Saturday, I’m going to get in trouble and the teacher will take me to the office and punish me. What should I do?” “Just because you will be taken to the office to be punished, does it say in the Bible that you can defile the Sabbath then? Go home.”

Next, a young man will come and ask, “Teacher.” “Yes, how can I help you?” “Teacher, after this meeting I have to go for my military service and you said to keep the Sabbath holy even if I die, but if I don’t receive training on Saturdays and say that I am going to keep the Sabbath though thousands of other trainees are receiving training, I’ll get beaten and might even be sent to jail.” “Oh yes, well, it does not say in the Bible that you can defile the Sabbath because you are going to be punished, beaten, and sent to jail otherwise. Go.”

Next, a woman will come and ask, “You know, Teacher, after this meeting I have to hold a memorial service on Sabbath because I’m the oldest daughter-in-law in my family; all my relatives will come and I have to cook the food and lead the memorial service.” “Just because you are the oldest in your family, and you have to keep the memorial service, it does not say that you can defile the Sabbath to fulfill your duties. Go.”

Whether ten or twenty people come and ask me, I will only give them the same answer. He even tells us to die rather than defile the Sabbath even during Jacob’s Trouble. The tribulation you will receive in the army is nothing compared to it. That’s not even tribulation. You know Jesus died for keeping the Sabbath holy. And it was His final request, saying, “Rather than defile the Sabbath, may you choose to die like Me.” So Jesus died in the hands of the Jews for trying to keep our Real Daddy’s true Sabbath. He was killed for keeping the true Sabbath by those who kept the false Sabbath.

Isn’t the world like that today as well? They call those who keep the true Sabbath fanatics and heretics, all the pastors of the SDA and Protestant Churches have arisen against us, determined to destroy us. But let me make this clear to all of you, I came to recover this true Sabbath. You must know what sacrifice was made in order to give you this true Sabbath. It is such a precious treasure. It is your life. Even if you should lose your life, I hope that you will not lose the Sabbath that you may all ascend to heaven.
